Welcome to the Moonlight Kingdom.
The story begins. It all started with a simple gust of magic, but with a drastic outcome. Left and right, people were turning into stone. Nothing could be done without hurting or even killing the people. The stoning lasted for years and is still happening now, about 1,500 years later.
At year 1,020, The first-ever Moonling was let free from her stony prison. The Moon of this kingdom. The ruler.
Her loyal and caring significant other was let free almost 100 years later. Though they didn’t have much memory of their lives, it was clear they were meant to be together. So they decided to make their own kingdom, and rule together.
Year 10 of being free, we found a special one already. She was unique and beautiful. Yet she was so fragile. Incased in a glass cage, the Moon of the ruler had to work fast. Managing to get the stone out, she carved specials marking on the stone’s face. And then, with one small pluck, she was set free of her prison.
“So that was me?” Blossom, the third special moonlight of their kingdom, asked. She was sitting on the floor while listening to the story that was just told.
“Yes, my dear. You were that special one.” Mauve, the Ruler’s significant other, responded, with a soft smile.
“You have a fragile soul.”
“Don’t tell me physically! I don’t wanna perish!” Blossom looked a little panicked. “Oh no no no! I didn’t mean literally,” Mauve crouched down. “I meant quite figuratively.”
“O-oh. Hehe…I knew that!” She smiled. Mauve chuckled a little. “I knew you were a special one.” Mauve tapped her nose and picked her up. “Hey! I’m not a baby!”
“I know you’re not dear. I just want to make sure you get to bed on time.”
“For what?” Blossom looked at her.
“I don’t want you cranky when you wake up. You littered flowers all over the kitchen. Null was very upset about that. Even though there was nothing to be upset about, heh.”
“Right…I’m still sorry about that one…”
“Don’t worry. I’m sure she already forgave you.” Mauve smiled.
“Let’s get you to bed, alright?” Mauve walked off with her.
