I took part in my first ever artist alley. It was adorable and all the other artists vending were super kind and lovely people. They were all dressed super cutely and I felt so underdressed.

Other than the room being on the warm side it was a great event and I'm looking forward to the next one. My half table got quite crowded and not everything could be displayed but I'm really happy with how it looked.

Thank you to all the lovely people I met and those who bought from my table yesterday. And of course, a big thanks to Amanda who runs Momiji market, it was a terrific artist alley to be a part of and had I not been accepted I would have still been a very happy attendee instead.

Also don't mind how I'm lurking in the background. The table next door was still setting up, and I was trapped when my amazing best friend (who agreed to wake up super early and drive out with me to help me set up at 8 am) was taking photos. So BIGGEST thanks to my wonderful bestie Teneal. We also had a fantasy book ball after this market, and she did not let the lack of sleep affect her dance moves or make-up in the slightest like a true icon.

I'll be tabling at Momiji Market on the 21st of March 2026.

It is a first-time event and I am very excited to be a part of it. It's also the same day as the autumnal equinox and a fantasy book ball I will also be attending that night. It'll be a very full-on day for me, but I can't wait.

I did my first market last weekend. It wasn't an artist alley and did involve a lot more set up then an indoor event would, but I had a lot of fun and really look forward to the next one.

When you played mermaids what colour was your tail and what was your mermaid power?

Did you have a consistent colour for your tail? I usually matched mine to the bathers I was wearing. Having a colour changing tail though like old 2000s bath toys would be awesome. Why settle for a single colour when you can have the whole rainbow 🌈

While I get ready for my first artist alley and set up to sell things online, here is my Redbubble store. I'll be slowly adding more designs as time passes so be sure to check it out later for new designs to pick from. It's mostly mermaids at the moment, but who doesn't love mermaids? 🧜‍♀️

... insane people probably, so you should probably buy a mermaid sticker, just in case to cure any slipping sanity. We wouldn't want that slipping through the ears.

Despite ordering these stickers first I didn't post about them on Instagram. My bad, these deserve some appreciation. There is also now button badges and mirror keychains based on the round designs and acrylic pins to match these die cut ones. Plus some other non-sailor scout designs I've been working on. I'll show them here once I get some good images.

I'll be selling these at markets next year (more on that soon!) and opening up an online store to sell these cuties. I hope you all love them as much as I do.

I could never choose a favourite scout, they’re all so cool in different ways and I’m constantly feeling in awe of them as if it’s their first introduction all over again. I just adore them all honestly, Sailor Moon was such a huge part of my childhood. My older sister didn’t sing me lullabies as a baby she sung the Sailor Moon theme song to me. Picking a singular favourite almost feels sacrilegious, but I’ll always enjoy hearing others argue for why their favourites are superior amongst an already stellar cast. 😍
