(Fawful Month Day 19: AU)
There once was a Luma born from the darkest of smoke that came from a galaxy light-years away. Floating around the universe alone, flashes of how it came to be were subtle. Leaving the luma to believe to be once a god who had beed stripped from it's power, but had forgotten about what type of god it was. Not long after, The Luma had found the Comet Observatory where it had found freinds who are just like the Luma and Princess Rosalina.
Rosalina had never seen a Luma quite like this one and looked at it in curiosity. As the luma stared back, a strange envy had awoken in the luma. How it longed to have limbs like her's and walk freely instead of these useless nubs for what seems to be a sad example of arms and legs. With this strong jealousy, the luma avoided her at all costs. Watching her in the distance. Noticing how well she gets along with the other lumas. The other lumas kept at a distance of the new comer due to how abnormal the luma looked and acted. How the luma was desperate to make freinds, but later on realized that they will never stay. Never be a part of itself and the void of envy that is growing. Growing attached means growing stuck.
One day, The observatory traveled close to the very galaxy that the luma was born from. Like the unexplainable envy, a sudden deep hatred and fury came when the luma looked down at one of the planets. Said to be where Rosalina was from. The urge of the planet to be down to its knees and kneel before it. Then...two others who are like Rosalina came to visit from that very planet. The luma watched at a distance as red and green hatted plumbers came before Rosalina and greeted her. Just then, the luma's hatred and jealousy became as clear as day. The sudden flashes becoming memories. The Luma was born from defeat due to these plumbers. In past life, the luma was two separate beings trying to gain power. And those plumbers were in the way. One of the beings had to give up their physical form to try to fend them off, but they kept coming back. THEY were to ones that made this luma. THEY are the ones that stripped the two separate beings from their powers. THEY are the ones that lead the two beings to be binded together in this body of a luma for all of eternity. The Luma was filled to the brim with such fury that it began to transform.
With lengthy arms like a brittle star, the luma transformed into a giant slimy and lengthy being with huge glowing red eyes. With it's grimy stretchy arms it snatched a good portion of the other lumas at the side of the observatory. Mario, Luigi and Rosalina caught noticed and tried to fight off the creature. But the creature refused to let go of the lumas. Mario and Luigi tried to pry the lumas off as Rosalina used her magic, but it was no use. The grasp that the creature had ahold on the lumas were only getting tighter. They watched as the lumas were forced to transform into teeth to be a part of the void-like beast.
Soon after, the creature jumped off of the observatory and drifted off into space. Leaving the place in shambles. With many for the power stars damaged, Rosalina was unable to power up the comet to chase after the creature. Mario and Luigi are going to have to work together to find more power stars and chase it down.
Btw this is the song that inspired and pushed me to make this AU (I LOME ATE SO MUCH ITS SO GOOD AAAAUUUWKAJEHODNJEKSND)
