my guy was a doctor who had to choose between saving a little boy and some political guy. he chose to save the boy because he arrived to the hospital first, but then he was never allowed to progress in his career because the hospital was in kahoots w/the politician and were getting funded by them etc. eventually the boy grows up and he's totally fucked up due to abuse and human experimentation (not tenma's fault btw), and tenma gets a bunch of shit that the boy did pinned on him, including murders. and he has to run from the law even though he didn't do anything, and he has to try to kill the boy because he's eeeevil, and/or prove that it was actually the boy that did it all.
