Hey everyone! It's been a while since I made a post. Hope you are all doing well. Since I'm a perfumeholic, I decided to mix this interest with kpop and create a post on what kind of perfumes I think would fit the members best.
Hongjoong
For Hongjoong, I'd say he would fit well a non conventional perfume that's pretty niche and with lots of layers to it. I think whether you love it or hate it, byredo creates the most unique scents so I'll go there. Black Saffron is a beautiful unisex perfume that blends rosey and powdery scents with sharper notes like wood juniper berries and saffron. A delicate powerhouse, just like him.
Seonghwa
Seonghwa's style is quite genderless leaning feminine, but he also possesses a stunning face with lots of sharp features so I dont think a typically feminine leaning scent like powdery florals would do it for him. I think he fits heavy perfumes with lots of depth, that are more darker and sexy. Black orchid from TM is a juicy, smokey, intoxicating scent that fits him well!
Yunho
Yunho apparently wears Orpheon by diptyque (same) and I think it fits him very well! Orpheon is a woody scent that has powdery notes too, making it intense yet comforting and cozy. Very fitting for Yunho. However, another perfume that would fit him well, which is more of a skin scent, would be Frederic Malle's L'eau d'hiver. It has creamy heliotrope, honey, musk and lots of florals that dont stand out much, other than to give this perfume a fresh and straight out of the shower feel.
Mingi
Another one that fits more sexy and bold scents because well....look at him lmao. I think he fits more typically masculine scents though, especially when he is dressed up. Tam Dao by diptyque is woody, while also having ginger and coliander, to tone down and make it a bit more herbal.
San
I think he also fits typically masculine scents but he seems to gravitate towards clean comforting scents too. One perfume that does both to some extent imo is YSL's la nuit de l'homme which blends lavender and bergamot with heavy notes like cedar and vetiver. Very fresh and masculine at the same time!
Yeosang
I think Yeosang fits citrus scents so much! Maybe because he is someone that's sunshine like, and citrus reminds me of that bright and nice emotion. I'm not a huge fan of citrus scents but there are two that even I like (a citrus hater). Byredo's bal d'afrique is a stunning citrus aromatic scent that has lemon, bergamot mixed with violet and jasmine. Also, another dreamy citrus scent, is Luna by Penhaligon's. Luna leans a bit more typically feminine, because it has rose as well, but it's such a fresh jammy rose, that's so hard to resist!
Wooyoung
Two words: Rose and Patchouli! He actually owns Diptyque's eau capitale and I'm sure it fits him so well! Another similar perfume, that's a bit heavier than Eau capitale, is Frederic Malle's portrait of a lady.
Jongho
Another one that fits clean scents imo and I'm an expert when it comes to them so here you go. I think he would really fit Diptyque's L'eau papier. A gorgeous and unique scent that has rice accord, musk and mimosa. Also, Juliet has a gun's not a perfume is similar, but a bit more dependent on skin's ph.

changbin is really intelligent and you can tell by how he talks. i absolutely love the way he communicates with others. all of his parts in songs and solo tracks are very unique as well, i adore his rapping style. hallucination was originally gonna be changbins solo track before he gave it to i.n. and you can honestly tell in some parts because i can totally hear changbin singing it and id like to hear him do a version of it as well. i really think the track fits i.n. so well though and i love his version!!
