It was no secret that she always struggled with her weight. It was difficult to brush it off sometimes and while she was pretty athletic regardless of it, Molly couldn’t help but feel some sort of way when girls walked past her and laughed as she ate. It was her anxiety, she was sure. She was sure they probably werne’t even looking at her but regardless, that didn’t take away the feelings that had surfaced. She set down what she was snacking on and put her hands on her lap as she pretended to be focused on the book in front of her instead. She was trying so hard to think positive things that she didn’t hear someone yelling her name, “What!?!” She said a little too loudly that it even took herself by surprise, “Sorry.. I wasn’t paying attention. Everything okay?”
Hogwarts was actually a smaller school than Monika realized. She would often see the same people every day, even if she hadn’t interacted with them, especially if they were in the same house. So when Monika noticed Molly dropped a book from her bag and left, Monika quickly ran over to pick it up and try to catch up to her. Sadly, Monika had lost track of where she went (thanks moving stairs) so it wasn’t until late when Molly was sitting and eating when Monika could give the book back. She smiled and called out her name, only to be taken aback by her reaction. “Vell, you dropped this this morning,” Monika explained, getting Molly’s book out of her bag. “I could not find you before now. Sorry it took so long.”
