Hiding in your wifi!
Basically your miku and what type of fans different one piece characters are towards youâŚthatâs it.
Weird ass thing I know but I thought it was a fun idea lol
Initially your creation was meant as a small invention made by vegapunk as a pastime
A voice bank made to talk and sing to whoeverâs whims
It wasnât anything special
Hell, at the time you didnât even have a proper design
You were just a voice
A tool used to make songs and talk that was sold across islands as nothing more than a fun little program
Something that was made for fun
No clear intent really behind it at all
But then against all odds of what vegapunk had calculated it had began to spread
Or moreover you had become popular
Popular songs using your voice spreading across the blues and into the grand line (some even getting to the new world)
A small but dedicated fanbase making songs that were passed to one another via cdâs
And it all but blew up into true chaos when he made you a proper design to put on the newest version of your program
Slapped on the box was your now infamous visage that could now be recognized across almost all islands
Of which then came much much more content from fans that were pirates and marines alike
Letâs get a peak at your fanbase shall we?
Law: the og fan and producer
It comes as perhaps a surprise to some that law, surgeon of death somehow knew your songs
Sometimes he could be seen humming along to the tunes made by your programmed voice
But most would leave it at that
He was a casual fan
But boy would they be wrong
He was one of the original producers of your most infamous songs
It started initially as Corazon giving him the program as a way to pass the time
Theyâd been going from hospital to hospital with law having nothing much to do besides kick and scream that they wouldnât do anything to help him
So Cora decided heâd get him something to try and lift his spirits
It was the of voice bank, before you had a proper design and songs made by the community were scarce
Law had nothing else to do but test it out at night as he contemplated his death as the white blots on his skin continued to grow
His first attempts werenât good at all
Just getting used to tuning your voice and make you say small words and sentences
HIâs and helloâs, making you say his name without pity or disgust as others do
Just his name in neutral tone
But then he started to get used to it
Started to try and make you sing small melodies
They were small but they were the things his mother used to hum
Things that made him feel like home before home was gone
And then before he knew it he was jotting down lyrics while Cora was yelling at yet another doctor
They were rage filled
Descriptions of the darkness of the world
But it made him feel better, less like he was bottling it all up
In the songs he made with you he felt heard and seen
Especially as Cora accidentally published it by face planting on a button
Law was angry until people started to leave comments
They began to ask for more
And law began to respond
Writing more songs
Making more melodies only he knew the origin of
He began to make a fanbase
His songs are dark in subject matter, cutting In their lyrics especially the older he gets
After Coraâs death just after your design came out he disappeared off the world and came back a year later with even sharper hits
More scathing than before
More heartbreaking in subject matter
But also more focused
Songs that were rage filled without purpose now have a proper meaning to it
Songs about unjust death
Tragedy of loosing someone before your eyes who was family
Feeling a disease eat away at you
Their more poignant now
Better made and better instrumentals with it as well
Not to mention law commissioning artists for nicely made covers instead of his lovingly drawn but disproportionate ones of yesteryear
Heâs known in the fanbase as a legend
His songs are staples to the boost in popularity for you, though heâs remained anonymous to everyone at large
All everyone knows is that he drops a masterpiece every blue moon and then disappears until randomly dropping again
But along with making songs heâs also an og collector
In his submarine thereâs a room that none of the crew are allowed to enter thatâs attached to his medical study room
Some think itâs to keep his important findings
Or his collection of enemies hearts (thatâs actually kept in a safe of his elsewhere)
In actuality itâs his nerd room
Aka the room where he keeps his collection of your merch plus his Sora, Warrior of the Sea merchandise
He has two separate shelves for both
Though sometimes for fun he likes to use your pose-able figure to makes scenes with his Sora collection
Particularly with Sora defeating germa 66 to save you
Itâs a guilty pleasure of his and one heâd die than rather admit to
But onto figures, he has quite a lot of them from the old days of your just released design to now
And yes, he does have your limited edition den-den mushi snail phone cover that only released in the south blue
He had to make up a whole cover story to his crew why they suddenly turned the sub around one night
It sits proudly on his shelf still in box with all his other special edition figures
Of which he has every limited edition drop
He actually has some of your first released figures along with the handmade garage sets that people made in the old days
His favourites are definitely the paintable garage sets, though thatâs not to say he doesnât like the official stuff either
He just appreciates the fan made content of the og days quite a bit
Alongside the fact that he likes painting your figures to help unwind down after stressful days
It helps when he shaky after yet another nightmare
He sits down, puts on one or your songs and focuses in on painting your details
Your genuinely one of the only things that can make this depressed doctor happy
You let him release the frustrations and sadness bottled up in him through your voice
And in turn you act as a sort of old friend to him as weird as it is to say
In his coat he keeps the first little plush he has of you that was given by Cora thatâs his most prized possession of all
It was a few days before his death that he spotted the merch and bought it for law
Itâs beaten up from time and age, had to be stitched back up various times
But when he looks at it he doesnât feel quite so alone anymore
Sometimes he wonders if the songs he made with your voice would have been Corazons favourites
Sanji: the figure and art collector
Sanji appreciates various forms of art mostly because he considers cooking an art as well
In his opinion art could take various forms
Some physical like the dishes he serves, the sculptures people sculpt by hand or paintings made via brush
But art could also be non-physical
Song for example was perhaps the best he could think of
Which is why even before he becomes a fan he appreciated what you do for people as a tool
You let people make their art
Whether that be because theyâd rather remain anonymous or because they donât have the voice but do have the skill for other aspects of a song
Even if he wasnât the biggest on your music (he does have a few songs though, particularly more jazzy tunes) he did appreciate what you did for people
And then he saw your figures
Listen, Sanji knows what he is and what he likes
And the one figure of you on his shelf quickly grows from one to 6 and then so on
He likes a lot of your official figures, mostly cause their already painted
He didnât want to initially buy garage figures cause he didnât want to screw up the paint job
But now with usopp on the ship thatâs less of an issue
So he just pays Ussop with making his favorite and Ussop paints it for him
Some figures in his collection are cute, he particularly enjoys your sakura variants sold on various spring islands and the ones of you in ordinary scenes
Ones like noodle stoppers are placed atop his spice shelf on the sunny while one with you as a waiter is off to the side on the counter
But some of his figures are more on the âhide away when people are over sideâ
Nothing too bad
JustâŚmaybe he has a few of you in bathing suits or bunny outfits
And a special edition one of you in an apron with nothing else on-
Ok yeah, heâs a bit of a gooner when it comes to your figures
But at least he knows what he is and has some shame for it
But with that he appreciates the craftsmanship that comes with it
Heâs one of those figure collectors that carefully inspect the figure to make sure itâs up to par with his standards
Though maybe his standard is a bit of a stretch
He once sobbed because a figure of you had a wonky eye and he was more upset that they dishonoured your image than how he got a zonked figure
But still, heâs a collector who cares for the quality of the craft partially because he cares for the quality of his art as well
Itâs not something to be half assed
And itâs something that needs care put into every aspect of it whether it be a dish or a figurine
Though the same is also said for the prints
Because heâs also an avid collector of those too (plus other artist made goods of you in general)
Multiple artists now know him as the guy who not only buys all their prints of you but also pins, keychains and explains in detail how he likes their style of how they drew you or the lighting and etc
At this point heâs accidentally befriended these artists and now gets goodies for free cause heâs such a good clientele base
Heâs actively expanded your fandom because heâs accidentally motivated people to make more content of you
One artist made him a little pin of you in a chef outfit and he has it on his apron without any shame
Zoro tried to tease him for it but he was quickly called out for that hypocrisy
Ussop in the meantime has to hide the fact that he also draws you since Sanji will be breathing down his back for said drawings
While some might consider him a shallow fan for only liking the figures and prints of you his passion for his collection are enough
Plus whoâs to say what makes someone a true fan or not?
Ace: the unexpected super fan
Most Would take a look at Ace and not expect him to be a fan of yours, let alone one to the extent that he is
Ace is handsome
Heâs funny and popular even amongst his fellow crew of the Whitebeard pirates
Hell, when he was a rookie he was making waves in his career and charmed many on his path
He was too Monroe at firstâŚat least until you got him talking about his two favourite topics
One was his younger brother Luffy, the scrappy bright eye kid he screamed to the heavens about and carried his bounty poster in his wallet
And then there was you
The virtual sound bank and dancing idol that he also equally obsessed over
Two things he could talk about for hours on end
(Something that Marko, deuce, Izou, and many of the spade pirates were subject to)
But how exactly he became a fan? That is answered in his young self loathing days
The time In his life where he was much more vocal about hating himself and the blood that coursed through his veins
It was by complete accident that he stole one of the cdâs of your recent hits
But it was a accident that helped shaped his life
He gave it a listen, found a few songs decent until the last one
The song that was made for you to sing was one about hope when struggling
A person who was beat down by the world, called worthless and told they should have never been born
An unnamed person feeling the world crashing down on them whilst unnoticed
but like a light in the dark, your voice reached them in the darkest corner of that abyss they sat in
Lifting them, and by coincidence also lifting Ace
Is it sad that a song from a program was something that he genuinely needed to hear? Maybe to others
But to him that song, your voice and meant something
And itâs something that he then began to treasure
He kept that cd, treasured it more than words could really describe
When the bandits accidentally cursed his existence as Rogerâs son he listened to your voice to feel slightly better
On nights he felt alone with the empty bed of Saboâs now empty he whispered the lyrics you sung of someone never truly being gone
And when he left for the sea he hummed your songs into the night
When gaining a crew, a proper ship and a better understanding of the wide world he becomes obsessed with collecting your merch
Particularly because dawn island had such a limited supply
A little keychain of you is added to his belt strap just beside his dagger
His cd collection grows because he needed to compensate for the years of only listening to the few songs he had
A hand made plush of you is bought without hesitation, the creator even makes his hat for your plush to wear and he nearly combusted on the spot in excitement
He even learns fan lingo from skull who takes pity on him for the fact he looked genuinely happy
Deuce meanwhile had to deal with the fact their captain blew a portion of his money on merch of you
And also nearly bought 5 bootlegs because he was too excited to properly look at the detail
Safe to say they have it a bit cut out for them
Especially when they eventually went to fishman island and there was âconvenientlyâ a mermaid cafe pop up at the same time
The whitebeards have it out for them once he got past trying to actively kill their captain
Because once he officially joined, the spade pirates all gave them pitying looks of them not knowing what they signed up for
They quickly learned however when he went in an hour long explain to a very confused Whitebeard when the old man asked what he had clipped to his belt loop
But besides all that Ace isnât exactly a picky fan of yours though he does have some things he tends to lean towards
He particularly likes your uplifting songs, the heartfelt ones that genuinely move him or the fun pop type
Itâs what got him into your music, so it has a particular place in his heart
But he also enjoys the range of music people make with you
Even the more edgier and depressing songs that a certain someone (cough law cough) made
He just kinda appreciates how you let people of all kinds put their thoughts to music
Itâs touching honestly
And itâs also touching how he collects anything of you that he can get his hands on
Keychains from popular or new artists
Both official, bootleg and garage kits (of which he begs deuce to help him paint)
Photocards that he places beside the bounty of Luffy in his wallet
(The two things that kept him motivated to live)
Though his support is maybe surprising to others itâs none the less heartfelt
Robin: the lowkey fan
Nico Robin despite her interest in the macabre, she also had a profound love of cute things
Animals were usually the centre of her fixation
Especially with her years on the run, she only really allowed her guard down around animals
But when one day skirting past marine patrols and living in a consistent numbing fear she saw you
More rather a figure of you being sold at a resellers booth
Probably overpriced
But still equally eye catching in the moment
She didnât know why but she fixated on your figure off on that table
It felt childish to do so, especially when she was wanted and on the run
But perhaps Robin for as much as she tried to deny it, was still a child
And like any kid, she too desired a toy
But more importantly a friend
Saulâs words echo out to her as she passes by the booth and uses her devil fruit to steal it when the vendor wasnât looking
The box sitting heavy in her small hands later that night as she opened it in the cold darkness of a brig of a ship
Her fingers shook but put you together
And there in her palms you sat, looking up and smiling at her in plastic form
And itâs there in the darkness of that ship she feels like sheâs less alone
Itâs it a bit childish to consider a figure a friend? Maybe, but itâs the only childishness Robin allows herself to have while on the run
And itâs on the run she sees more of you across islands
More figures, a few pushes, keychains and posters
Not to mention the cdâs
She canât take much with her
But she does keep your original figure
And she does end up taking a kitschy blanket that has you on it
Itâs one or the few things that brings her warmth and comfort
Hopping from place to place sheâs had to give up many things
Some clothes
Money
And other smaller things like books
But she never gives up your figure or that blanket
Both are too dear to her
Because youâve become dear to her
Though she doesnât know much about you and your fanbase until much later
She couldnât help but be drawn to you and your design
The friendly smile
Your outreached hand
Two things she both craved for especially in those early years
Itâs later that she learns of you
Appreciates you and what you were to others just as you were her
When she somewhat settled down in Alabasta she allowed herself more freedom in pursuit of your figures and collectibles
Never a lot of
But always enough for her
Especially since she didnât want to appear weak
Weakness was not something baroque works could tolerate let alone crocodile
(And yet bon clay and her would sometimes have conversations about you. Apparently they were also a fan and was pleasantly surprised she was as well)
However with the strawhats sheâs allowed to show her weakness for you
For cute things in general
And though she never is super outward about it, she now can sometimes be seen shopping with Nami for merch of you
The crew all also pleasantly surprised sheâs a fan as well when the majority of them are also similar to her
That blanket and original figure thatâs seen better days and is half hazardly glued back together both still remain with her (glue curtesy of Ussop)
The blanket on her bed in the girls quarters
And that figure on her bedside
Two things that kept her going till now
Shirahoshi: the new cult classic creator
Itâs a bit of an understatement to say Shirahoshi has had a sheltered childhood due to the constant threat against her life
Besides her brothers, her father, Megalo, her friend over the den-den mushi, and the occasional maid or servant that comes her way she doesnât have much in the way of friends
Let alone many to talk to or express herself with
Thatâs not to say that those around her donât try
But thereâs still a large difference between the friendship of two friends and the friendship one holds with a brother
Besides her friend over the den-den whoâs locked away, she doesnât have anyone but family and palace staff
Something fukaboshi especially begins to notice as sheâd begun to feel the affects of isolation much more
So despite his fathers potential protests he had gotten her something to help ease her isolation
Heâd gotten her the newest version of your program, now waterproofed for fishman island
It wasnât a full proof solution
But it was something that for now he hoped could help her
And as he had hoped, it did
At first the mermaid princess had started off small with your program
Making you have little conversations with her
Tuning your voice to sound a little less robotic and moreso real
For as sad as it is to maybe admit, she felt a lot less alone being able to make you say simple things like âhi!â And âhow was your dayâ
But then sheâd begun to write songs
It was just out of curiosity at first
Just wanting to see if youâd be able to sing whatever little melody she created
And then it evolved from there
From small songs she wrote when she had nothing to really do, then becoming songs she put her heart and soul into making
Because if she canât go outside and have friends, then at least she can have fun making songs with you
And when she was finally done one she accidentally pressed the wrong button
And it was published to your database
And it became an instant hit (unbeknownst to her)
Whoops
Yeah, of course knowing her luck she accidentally published it and then cried for an hour thinking her dad was gonna be mad
Until she realized through cloudy eyes she did it under a pen name
Mosa
The same nickname she had with her friend on the den-den
No one knew it was her
What her brothers and father didnât know couldnât hurt them, right?
And whilst she wasnât sure if it had become popular or not (it did, very much so actually) she decided it couldnât hurt to publish some more
Because even if she didnât know if anyone liked it, it was at least her way of communicating to the world
And that was a lot more than she could ask for
While others (cough law cough) wrote more darker songs, Shirahoshi wrote gentler happier types
Stuff like just being friends, one about candy, and one about making chocolate for a crush
Happier and gentler topic matter
Though occasionally she wrote dark yet hopeful songs based on her own experiences
her most personal and âdarkestâ song is one about someone at the bottom of the ocean, alone but swimming to the surface
Though even then, that one has a ambiguously happy ending
Leaving people with the hope that the person below the waves broke through to the surface and found friends
Or at least thatâs what she hopes it left people feeling as it did her
She writes to hopefully make at least one other person in the world not feel as alone as she sometimes does
Never knowing the true impact of what she wrote
Besides at least what her friend on the den-den thinks since she runs her songs by him
He acts gruff, but she can tell at least he enjoys what she makes
But on to happier topics, eventually when she learns you have things like figures she downright begs fukaboshi to get her some
Which her brother complies to
He canât say no to something making her genuinely happy
So how her room is filled with merchandise of you
Figures that have a water sealant over it so the paint wonât fade
Prints that are similarly made for the underwater environment
Through her the fishman and mermaid fans of you get great support since fukaboshi buys out half their stock for her
She ends up loving most of your merch but she tends to enjoy stuff that has you exploring far out lands and traveling
Perhaps a bit of a way of living out her dreams through you
But all the same, the mermaid princess cherishes the fact that you allow her the freedom of making songs for others to hear
Even as sheâs locked away in her room for her own good due to someone who wonât take rejection well
âŚmaybe thatâs why she made that song about just being friends-
Kizaru: the literal OG of the OG fans
He was your first fan
Iâm not kidding here, he was legitimately your first fan
When vegapunk was developing your software as a little experiment it was kizaru who made your first song just to help his friend test it out
He got the first copy and from then on he was the one to get exclusive before releases updates
Heâd seen and helped workshop your prototype designs
He gave suggestions on options to help tune your voice
And he was the one to help pick your name from the list Vegapunk made
Because for some reason yours had stood out to him and from there on it was history
He is the one who pushed Vega to continue updating your software and not give up on you
All because for some reason he liked you (for as weird as that may sound)
He liked the synthetic sound of your voice
The way he could create songs and the possibilities that could entail for others
And most importantly when your gotten your name and design he liked the you that youâd become
From nothing but a voice to now a character
A character he helped shape and watched slowly grow across the seas and into the new world
Listening to new songs people made with your voice
Watching people make new versions of you across islands
Heâs seen people make a sakura version of you for spring islands
A beach version for summer islands
Cozy knit wear ones for autumn
And snow versions for winter
Heâs even seen some make specific versions of you as famous marines and pirates
Itâs touching to himâŚmaybe not the pirate parts but still
He finds it charming
So charming he begins telling vegapunk, and now thereâs a yearly submission for spring, autumn, summer and winter designs of you by fans
And he also gets all the merch before itâs officially released
Because having connections pay off
Marineford however has to deal with him getting packages from vegapunk of your yet to be released merch in droves
Stuff from scale figures that cost and arm and a leg to a little plush of yours with a wonky eye that he cherishes regardless
One intern tried to snatch a keychain that they were sure he wouldnât notice and he appeared behind them and placed a hand on their shoulder
That intern transferred themself to a marine base as far as they could from Kizaru because they nearly died on the spot from terror
He does not play when it comes to you
Itâs maybe one of the only times Akainu, Kuzan and Sengoku have seen him actually serious
A pirate crew once robbed a fan event about you made up of artists selling merch for charity reasons
His superiors have never seen him so livid before
It was honestly scary
He was able to return all the merch and proceeds within 4 hours of the initial report
That pirate crew got their asses kicked at the speed of light
Safe to say he got fan merch for free
Plus a few commissions for free from very thankful artists
He just asked for artwork of you enjoying ramen with him
Itâs now kinda become a meme in the community
Just the image of you sitting with noodles will have people joking that Kizaru is about to join you at the speed of light for lunch
Most of your pirate fans hate the meme for various reasons and have begun combating it with images of you having a beer with various crews
Kizaru canât care less but he does find it charming that this joke has led him to get more art without commissioning anyone
Because of his friendship with vegapunk he was able to get an official pop up event at Marineford
Sengoku somehow accidentally signed off on it
The event had marineford exclusives of you in a marine uniform and some as you dressed up as the admirals
Akainu yelled at kizaru for hours about pulling off this stunt
But somehow the merch of you dressed up as the magma welding admiral mysteriously sold out from an unknown buyer and mysteriously ended up in said manâs office
(Kizaru will not let him live this down)
Kuzan just straight up froze the line to his merch and got the first batch
Kizaru on the other end got to the start of his line at the speed of light
Sengoku was more tired than usual after the amount of complaints he got about the admirals numbing the lines
Oh well, at least it was a good moral boost
His office has the cardboard cut from that event
It sits behind his desk staring at whatever poor soul is called to his office
Itâs not often but it occasionally does happen
And itâs awkward for the poor schmuck having to be stared down by your anime eyes and Kizaruâs
When it comes to songs Kizaru isnât particularly picky
He likes a good range of options
But he does like more upbeat ones when heâs working
He sometimes makes a game of shooting light beams at pirates to the beat
Maybe a bit messed up
But thatâs just the way the cookie crumble sometimes
The world is cruel and perhaps heâs apart of that cruelty
But, you in all your songs and dances make things seem a bit more bright
And for someone whoâs done various abhorrent actions under orders he appreciates what you give
A sunspot in the dark
UGHHHH this is SOOO GOOD!!! Please make this into a series in the future, I am begging you!!
I can't wait for Vegapunk to create [Y/N] in real life. Considering the fact that he can create literal robots, I wouldn't put it past him to create a real-life version of [Y/N], maybe even give her a mind of her own??? (since Vegapunk is partnered with the World Government, he'll probably realize that they could use [Y/N] to spread marine propaganda or something of that sorts so instead of allowing that to happen, Vegapunk gave [Y/N] a mind of her own, that way she can think and speak for herself.)
