Somewhere in Neverland

I came back from my training and I took the shower. I’ve heard the phone and at the other side my wife cried. She told me that Arek is dead. After that there were deathly silence beetwen us…

Everytime when I think of Arek the first thing that comes to my mind is his smile. He never refused the help anyone. He was the good soul of our team. We often met each other after match with the team mates just to sit and talk… Now when this time passed I can only be grateful for the year we spent together.  The memories is something that no one can pick from us, they’re help us with deciding how our life looks like , they have a influence on it.

I believed that Arek is still with us. When I came at the funeral to the Ostrołęka, I think that was the first time when I really believed in what happened. When I carried the coffin with my friends I didn’t want to think about this…  I couldn’t believed that it really happened.

I remember his smile when he was going to Italy… 

I wanted to believe he’s still with us…
