She clicks her tongue, shaking her head in disagreement but laughs anyway- a bright, musical sound which is a contrast to her deeper, more monotoned voice. "I don't believe in luck, buddy. And I don't need you to feed my ego when I feed my own. But I guess I'll take it." She teases right back, shooting them a grin. It's a genuine expression and her bright green eyes have a slight sparkle to them.

Max nods along to their words, humming in agreement. Moments like this are his favorite if he's being honest. He's not always great at just chattering or even starting conversation even when he wants to so itβs appreciated that Ravi elects to do so.
βIt is.. itβs peaceful and I just feel most like myself when Iβm near the water.. stupid as that might sound.β He chirps, ducking his head a bit.
Max hums quietly in initial response to their question, giving another nod before flashing a sideways glance paired with a ghost of a smile. βI think soβ¦ and I agree that we should. Iβm happier.. more settled than Iβve felt in a while, honestly. Whatβre you thinking?β

"No, no, no!" Shiloh frowns, lips pursed as he looks at the other in distaste. "You're doing it wrong. That's fucking wrong." A gesture in their direction. He sniffles, blinks a couple times. "Stop! Stop it! You can't just...fucking...eat them all in one go, what kind of psychopath are you?!"
He's talking, of course, about Skittles and the pack that the other has just ripped open and started pouring into their mouth without any consideration for the flavours. It's fucked. And Shiloh's really particular about this kind of thing, so it's hard to tell if he's actually pissed off or just being dramatic.
Levi immediately has to stifle a laugh so he doesn't choke on the mouthful of skittles. A hand covers his mouth while he finishes chewing, swallowing them before grinning over at Shiloh. Another laugh at his dramatic exclamation. He knows it bothers Shiloh though, which is also part of why he did it. Just to fuck with him.
"Listen, it's all goin to the same place and they're all sweet. The flavours are meant to be mixed." He retorts, shrugging and lifting the pack to dump some more in his mouth, pausing before he does for dramatic effect.

He clicks his tongue at her words but nods a few times in understanding. Callum isn't one to push when he realizes a patient disagrees with him or has their mind set on something. He sighs softly and nods again. "That's a fair point. Calling police would be the first thing we offer to do. But uh- yeah, I mean I can do that. There's no life threatening injuries. Just avoid driving and alcohol for the next forty eight hours at least. I can send you off with some instant ice packs when we bring your discharge paperwork. We're not too busy right now so I'd say, maybe fifteen-twenty minutes?"
He glances over at his nurse, who's better at gauging it because he just signs off, Cal isn't in charge of the actual paperwork. She nods in confirmation, says maybe less at which Callum offers Kimberly a small smile. "There you have it. I'm um.. terribly sorry for the night you've had. Before we head out is there anything else you need?"

He murmurs, sitting up again. "There's not much I want in this world that i don't already have.." James gnaws at the inside of his cheek for a few beats. "I'm sure the things a lot of others ask for are things I have already gotten or am not interested in..." The only thing he could possibly think of is finding Adain. Just to know if she's alive and okay, nothing more. Especially not if she'd just run away to live her own life. He wouldn't want to disrupt that. And anyway, he's not going to waste such a serious contract on something so ridiculous.
