This crazy little nugget is the absolute best. We spend an hour here and there just snapping pictures together, messing with the weird filters that turn your head into broccoli or a horse or just making silly faces! He makes me laugh and remember to take some time to be "childish" - even though I'm a grown ass, responsible, hard working adult. Been a minute since I updated on here about pets... and I don't even know that I let everyone on here know the full story about our pet losses during the 5-day power outage with sub-zero and single digit temperatures back in February... Though we did everything we could to keep all our pets warm and well, Sam and Ruby both died, as did all of our fish. Reptile survivors were: Spyro, Deceit, Delilah & White Castle. The cats and dogs were fine, but then both Slinky and Tyrian got out... Tyrian is back home and doing fine after being gone for 4 weeks. Slinky was gone for 6 weeks and when we finally got her back, her kidneys failed and she passed a couple of weeks ago. Lots of heartache. but this is Chester! We've had him for several months now and he's doing great! He's got a girlfriend coming soon (Caliente aka Cali) to the other enclosure. It's a happy/sad thing to be finally filling the bioactive that's been empty for so long, but I felt it was time.
