Daniela Alvarez is on a mission to spread whimsy and delicious treats to all. Sheâs the founder of Spoonfuls Inc, a company which makes dessert jars inspired by the nostalgic flavors of desserts past. These decadent treats are modeled after a dessert that went out of fashion all too soon: the trifle.

The most decadent HuntingtonNow interview Iâve ever conducted! Daniela Alarez created her own dessert business, with the aim of reinventing and bringing back the classic trifle. More about Spoonfuls Inc here!

My first publication on 101Words!Â
I heard about 101Words.org a few months back, through my local writing group. The site challenges writers to write flash fiction (prose with a beginning, middle, and end) in exactly 101 words. I love writing constraints, so I got to work on a few pieces and submitted this one shortly thereafter.Â
