I wrote “On Again” with Tyler Armes two years ago the first time we ever met. It was so fun for me to step into a different world sonically and create something a little bit out of the box for me. Now it’s my first feature & I couldn’t be happier to be collaborating with such talented people.

We’ve been friends since we were just lil tweens and now we’re both chasing our dreams in LA and we got to play the most fun show ever last night... also, convinced everyone in the crowd that he was my little brother right before I played footprints. 😂 Girls, if you like cute boys who play the drums go give him a follow. Sometimes, you’ve got to close your eyes to see clearly.

LADIES, we will never be confident in who we are if we are comparing ourselves to someone else. I wanna encourage all of you to do whatever it takes to shift your focus off of those who make you feel “less than” and turn your focus towards those who build you up. But most importantly, recognize the beauty & power in your uniqueness and be thankful that you are not “her”... you are YOU. No one has, is or will ever be able to be that... so own it. 💪🏼❤️ Tag someone who needs to hear this today. (side note: I was wondering what I should write about today and I saw that I posted this poem exactly one year ago and it felt worthy of a repost!)

Thank you for teaching me the importance of kindness. In all my life, I have never seen you hesitate to help someone in need. In fact, you always seem to be on the lookout for how you can serve others. Whether that’s cooking someone a meal, teaching someone English, offering a ride, taking time to actually listen to someone’s story, holding their hand & praying with them or quietly giving whatever you happen to have in your wallet... not so that you can go tell the world you did something nice. You just do it because you genuinely love people. You do it because you believe we should all try to love every single person we encounter the way Christ loves us. I believe that too. Thanks for leading the way Mama. ❤️ I’m gonna call you now cuz I miss you.
