Okay so normally I'm not into Balance shipping, right? I prefer to view them as a teacher and apprentice, even somewhat like father and son. But I fully understand that their relationship varies with each person that knows them, there are many interpretations of the two, and yes, in some they're lovers or partners. It's completely valid, and I enjoy sometimes thinking of various possibilities of their relationship. My vision is just one of many, and is definitely not better or worse than others.

That being said. Lance struggling with excess negativity magic or something like that and he ends up having to (consensually!) lay the magic energy in shape of eggs into Balan, even though they both know it's dangerous for positivity and negativity to mix so closely, but Balan's positivity magic is supposed to simply dissolve the negativity, so it'll go well, right? Oh and also there's tentacle stuff. Because yeah.

Current Balan would make it clear when he's not satisfied, making jokes and chatting carelessly, sassy and even a bit rude. But if the atmosphere is pleasant, he'd be the sweetest and kindest lover.
