okay so i’m going to say this here, and i’m sorry if you’ve seen it many many times before, but i still see posts on my dash of people claiming there are right ways and wrong ways to play this game, and tons of passive aggressive comments in tags. you play animal crossing the way you want to play animal crossing, not the way someone else plays it. towns with paths are beautiful, towns without paths are beautiful. if you want a pink town, make a pink town, if you want a forest town, make a forest town. if you want a town full of flowers, make one. if you want a town full of weeds, make one. there’s nothing wrong with having a town full of popular villagers, just as there’s nothing wrong with having a town full of unpopular villagers. as long as you’re respectful towards other players and their towns, there is no such thing as a bad animal crossing player. anon i’m sure your town will look incredible, as long as it’s what you want it to be and not what you think others want it to be, and i hope your friends realise this soon
