Mango Coconut Chia Pudding
Ingredients
¼ cup chia seeds
1 cup coconut milk (coconut drink), or almond milk
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp ground vanilla bean
1 frozen mango, peeled
½ cup water
Coconut flakes (unsweetened)
Method
In a bowl add chia seeds, coconut milk, maple syrup and vanilla. Stir constantly for 3-4 minutes then leave it aside to thicken for 10 minutes.
Pour the mixture into glass jars or bowls evenly and leave to set in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Once set remove from the fridge and continue with mango purée.
In a blender mix mango with water for approx. 1 minute or until it becomes a smooth consistency. Pour the mango purée evenly over the set chia pudding and place back in the fridge for a couple of hours to set.
Garnish with coconut flakes and serve.

Bonding With Each Element
Earth
Taking a walk in a park or forest
Planting
Picking flowers (though, not from other people’s gardens, of course)
Grounding, meditating, etc.
-The key is to surround yourself with nature, whether it be sounds of nature, or even getting into kitchen magic, which will involve herbs.
Air
Taking a stroll on a breezy day
Sitting in front of a fan (as an alternative to the above)
Anything creative (Dancing, singing, etc)
Divination (Smoke of an incense, crystal ball, taro/cartomancy, etc)
-The wind element is about expressing and realizing your creativity and talent. By doing this, you are bonding with the element.
Fire
Meditation with a lit candle
Drinking a cup of freshly brewed hot tea or coffee (don’t burn your mouth, now)
Activity that involves breaking a sweat (exercise, etc)
-Fire is about passion and anger, whether releasing that anger so it does not build up inside of you, or invoking a passion you have for something. This intensity will help you bond with the element.
Water
Taking a long shower or bath
Making Sun or Moon Water
Collecting Rain/Snow/Storm/Sea Water
Dream Magick: making peaceful sleep satchets, etc
-Water is about purification, love, and psychic awareness. Cleansing yourself daily, charging water for a specific use, and healing will help you bond with this element.

Interview Tips
Wear nice clothes. Look neat and clean! Tuck in your shirts and make sure your shoes aren’t dirty. Interviewers will know if you’re serious by how you present yourself.
Carry a resume and notebook with you. Take notes if the need arises. Also bring references with you.
MAKE EYE CONTACT
Research the place/person ahead of time. Don’t go in there not knowing who you’re working for and what they do.
I like to have a good shower, brush my teeth and shave before I go because that helps me to feel more confident about myself.
Don’t spout generic internet answers for questions like: What are your greatest strengths/weaknesses? Why do you want this job? Think about these questions and develop your own answers. Make yourself stand out.
Practice what you’re going to say if you’re not confident.
Ask questions. You have the right to answers too.
On my way there I like to distract myself so that I don’t dwell on scripted answers and so that my nerves can settle
Remember, you’re essentially selling yourself as a product that’s worth investing in. Believe in yourself and they’ll see that. State your pros. Put emphasis on your adaptability to learn and grow and on your work ethic.
If you don’t get the job, don’t fret. Think of each interview as a learning experience and re-evaluate how you can improve for next time.
Acne/Pimple Tips✨
Wash your face everyday. You can look for acne specific face washes. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Face Wash is like $7 at Target or Walmart.
Going with washing your face, use one of those spinny brushes 1-2 (maybe three but that’s a lot) times a week. It gets in and cleans out your pores, but using it too often irritates them.
Keep a consistent skincare routine. Changing things or inconsistency tends to irritate your skin.
When adding new products to your routine, add them in one by one. You can also try a swatch test (you put the product on a small part of your neck and wait a few days to see how your skin reacts to it).
Take off your makeup everyday. If you don’t, then that’s just gunk seeping into (and clogging) your pores.
Along with makeup, WASH. YOUR. BRUSHES. They can get dirty really easily, and you don’t want that dirt on your face. Concealer/foundation brushes should be washed once a week, eye brushes should be cleaned twice a month, and everything else can be cleaned once a month.
Some makeup can be used to cover up acne or even help fight it. Buzzfeed has a good list right here.
After you come out of the shower or anything that causes your pores to open up (or at anytime if you feel like it), rub an ice cube on your face. The cold closes your pores to prevent dirt from getting in.
Don’t touch your face/pimples. Fingers have a lot of oil on them, which your face doesn’t need.
These tips might not work for everybody, but feel free to try them. Also, sometimes acne can only be fixed with acne medication and that’s alright too.
Good luck everybody!
How to Handle Having TOO MUCH To Do
So let’s say you’re in the same boat I am (this is a running theme, have you noticed?) and you’ve just got, like, SO MUCH STUFF that HAS to get done YESTERDAY or you will DIE (or fail/get fired/mope). Everything needs to be done yesterday, you’re sick, and for whatever reason you are focusing on the least important stuff first. What to do!
Take a deep breath, because this is a boot camp in prioritization.
Make a 3 by 4 grid. Make it pretty big. The line above your top row goes like this: Due YESTERDAY - due TOMORROW - due LATER. Along the side, write: Takes 5 min - Takes 30 min - Takes hours - Takes DAYS.
Divide ALL your tasks into one of these squares, based on how much work you still have to do. A thank you note for a present you received two weeks ago? That takes 5 minutes and was due YESTERDAY. Put it in that square. A five page paper that’s due tomorrow? That takes an hour/hours, place it appropriately. Tomorrow’s speech you just need to rehearse? Half an hour, due TOMORROW. Do the same for ALL of your tasks
Your priority goes like this:
5 minutes due YESTERDAY
5 minutes due TOMORROW
Half-hour due YESTERDAY
Half-hour due TOMORROW
Hours due YESTERDAY
Hours due TOMORROW
5 minutes due LATER
Half-hour due LATER
Hours due LATER
DAYS due YESTERDAY
DAYS due TOMORROW
DAYS due LATER
At this point you just go down the list in each section. If something feels especially urgent, for whatever reason - a certain professor is hounding you, you’re especially worried about that speech, whatever - you can bump that up to the top of the entire list. However, going through the list like this is what I find most efficient.
Some people do like to save the 5 minute tasks for kind of a break between longer-running tasks. If that’s what you want to try, go for it! You’re the one studying here.
So that’s how to prioritize. Now, how to actually do shit? That’s where the 20/10 method comes in. It’s simple: do stuff like a stuff-doing FIEND for 20 minutes, then take a ten minute break and do whatever you want. Repeat ad infinitum. It’s how I’ve gotten through my to do list, concussed and everything.
You’ve got this. Get a drink and start - we can do our stuff together!
WOAH THIS SOUNDS HELPFUL. I’M GOING TO TRY THIS IMMEDIATELY. Also, I made a chart for myself, but if anyone else wants it for reference (or if this is wrong and I misread you can tell me) here it is:
Very important.
