Women in Mahabharata - Mohini

Famously a form of Vishnu, she plays a key role in samundra manthana, where she tricks the Asuras into relinquishing control over the amrita they had churned out along with the Devas.

In other stories, she appears as an enchantress, associated most with Shiva and his adventures.

In certain southern retellings of Mahabharata she also appears as the one-night-bride of Iravan who is to be sacrificed in battle.

One thing I love about chola dynasty statues,is how they blend this almost cartoonish art style with actual good anatomy,especially around the belly areas,if you look closely.

Anyways,I was drawing Mohini(the female form of Vishnu) based on the chola dynasty statue,and it's a very rough sketch,but she looks pretty,so I'm posting it
