best thing about crowleys character i think is the fact that how often he listens to queen music is an iconic/defining part of his character but its never made clear whether he actually likes queen or not

thinking about the post i saw this morning that was like ‘crowley’s like one of my favorite characters ever but aziraphale barely blips on my radar’ and like yeah everyone’s entitled to their opinions but also fuck you if i loved aziraphale less i would talk about it more.

what’s the most fascinating to me about aziraphale is like. how i read his character is he loves to follow the letter of the law but not the spirit. that’s hilarious. he’ll open a bookshop, because that’s what you do with books, but he won’t sell them. he’ll do his taxes to such a degree he gets audited because they just assume he’s lying. and he does it all while being a bitch and disappearing people. that’s amazing. i think one of the reasons crowley is so easy to love (and to be clear, this is a crowleygirl writing about their love of aziraphale. i mean look at my username. look at my content. come on. but also guys don’t be mean.) is because he’s a quote unquote bad guy that’s trying to be a good guy. that’s easy. aziraphale meanwhile is a guy who had the biggest imposter syndrome for three thousand years until he decided to invent the art of not giving a fuck. all while being a literal angel of the lord. how is he not good enough for you.
