I did! Quite a few anyway. Cats and dogs, lol. Right? That kind of terrifies me, honestly. For sure! I’m bad enough at time management as it is. Divide that by three and I don’t know who I’d survive. Yes! I do love accessories.

So I have won awards for a couple of my pies, so I always recommend them. Then my blue velvet cake is a very nontraditional favorite. 

I hope so. I’m a little bit nervous because my last serious relationship ended horribly, but I’m trying not to think about it much going into this.

That is the opposite of religious. But it apparently is supposed to be Jingle Bells so it’s not super religious. But those are good, but there’s a lot of places that do it better than Starbucks. The Sugar & Spice Bakery, Fairlane Coffee, and Twentysix Cafe are all pretty good.

I’m sure you could if you wanted to learn. It just takes a lot of patience. Haha I’m not sure if I could, but I do like to unplug and get away from it all sometimes. Haha well that’s honest if nothing else. I couldn’t say what I’d do. I mean there’s a 12 year age difference between Em and me, and I do love her. So yeah, ultimately, it’s about being happy adults in the relationship. Outside of talking about different age differences in relationships, how are things with you? You and Dani adjusting to things again with the fostering being over?

Maybe that’s the skill I don’t have, patience. Like when you grow up having all the stuff the second you say it, don’t know how to wait. Look at me being all self-aware. But I love that for you. Mmm, I don’t think, that’s too big of a difference. Unless you’ve felt like she might be too young or immature in some aspects? We’re great, honestly. Loved Toby and I think we’re gonna try to get some updates on him every now and then, but super glad that we have the house to ourselves. How about you?

You were drunk when you signed up and then stayed? That’s pretty good. And it’s great that you don’t regret it. I’m taking it that you like your partner? Yeah, that makes sense. I already know I don’t want a crazy big wedding. Something small and intimate is absolutely fine with me. I have been paired up! He’s very handsome, and I’ve already met him in person.

Lil bit yeah. I had just finished chatting with a dude who was a total bore so I was like, what the hell, I’ll do it. Mmm, Dani’s great. Definitely not who I expected to marry, but I guess that was the whole point. To be surprised.  Sweet! that’s a great start. What’s his name? maybe I’ve talked to him already.

All good. Yeah that’s kinda the impression I’m getting from people so far which is comforting. Funny thing though, I actually met my match right before finding out that he’s my match. So hopefully that helped kill the nervousness or at least chill it out a lot. That makes sense in a way, since you guys were still just getting to know each other though. See, that’s something I’d want as far as a wedding goes. Something laid back to keep the pressure off.

Oh wow! talk about fate, c’mon. You can’t make this up. He handsome? I mean, I already know he’s gonna be punching, but..at least I hope you like him. Mhm, Dani saw it like that. I was honestly fine with her walking into my place. I’m totally the first girl who dies in the horror movie, aren’t I? That’s the best thing you could do. We had so much fun that way.

Oh do they? Well, believe me, I am not offended. I’m knowledgeable enough to know that running a business is certainly not for everyone. It’s good to know that about yourself. I’m sure Stella’s quite the sweetheart, and I look forward to meeting her sometime. Haha well thank you, and yes absolument. In fact, Abbi and I decided to keep Milo in our lives, and we’re moving forward with the adoption process.

Mhm, we grew up with a lot of luxury. And then my siblings took different career paths than following my parents footsteps so I guess I was supposed to be the one to carry that? She’s great honestly. Never saw myself as a cat person before, she’s changing that. Wait, really? Oh my, that’s amazing. That’s honestly so cute, love that for you guys. How did you guys decide on it?

You’re welcome, Morgan. Well, it certainly builds character then. And it is, though there were times that it could be pretty lonely. But that’s what pets are for, right? I’d like at least a couple, though probably not twins. I don’t think I could handle two babies at once. I wholly agree! I love getting to wear hats and scarves.

I mean it’s both a coffee shop and a bakery, so it kind of counts as both, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you had tried it. But I don’t know, I figured that some people would see it being a catch since it’s not an automatic 15% off. 

But so far everyone seems really nice. I haven’t been matched yet so I can’t say more than that.

I do have a sweet tooth, and I’m unfortunately a little obsessed with carbs, so you’re not wrong. I usually try the star products, so what’s yours? Maybe I’ll remember. I see, any discount is super good in my books.

Thanksgiving is about family and focusing on what good happened in the year. And I think that with how crazy this year has been, that’s especially important. Plus it seems like it’s a whole celebration of Fall as a whole, which is my favorite season.

Believe it or not, you are the first person to be interested so you are more than welcome to if you’d like. And there’s a lot wrong with Starbucks. They burn their coffee beans to make it incredibly bitter, they completely ruined classic drinks, and they’re incredibly overpriced and exploitative. Plus we are so close to the coffee capital of the US that anything that local is world’s better.

No, I signed up. I just meant what I said, that this wasn’t how I thought I’d go about meeting a special someone. I mean not a lot of people think they would sign up on an app knowing whoever they got paired up with was the person they were gonna marry 6 weeks later. But that’s good to hear that it seems to be going well so far for…well, everyone. What’d you and your match, or spouse do for your first 6 weeks?

Nice to meet you, Morgan. The truth? I tried some other dating apps, hated the whole process of it because there were very few men who actually wanted something serious. So I thought I would join the one app that was guaranteed to give me something serious. Is that a little crazy? I’m glad you think I’m going to have a blast. That’s what I’m hoping for. Important questions out of the way, got it. That makes sense considering I’ll have six weeks from the time I’m matched to get hitched. So it is good to know the important things sooner rather than later.

I would never actually do that Mo, at least not while we’re together. KIDDING.  I miss him too.  I wonder if we’d ever be able to visit him, you know?  It’s probably not possible, but maybe they’ll give us special permission since foster parenthood was sort of just… placed in our laps.

Don’t you think little job entails having fun at work?  Unfortunately, neither of us are inheriting fortunes anytime soon, so there’s no use in us wondering what could have been.  We know that we’re not getting money for little work, so let’s find work that makes us happy.  I think it’s way more fulfilling than just getting money for nothing, anyway, don’t you?  A player, but I chose you, isn’t that so romantic.  I always knew I was better than your ew boyfriends, but it’s just nice to hear.

I think too much of it doesn’t really do any good. You end up stuck with only your own bias, perception and opinions of things. A lot of my hobbies are outdoors things like fishing and hiking. I do some woodwork too, and if I get a chance to go camping, that’s usually when I get a lot of reading done or I might bring my guitar along. Yeah that’s pretty common too, seeing older guys with wives who are 20 or more years younger than they are. I know there’s reasons why some people do it, but I’m kinda surprised at how much it happens.

Oh I see. That’s a shame that that’s led to a severed relationship between you and your parents. What life are you about though? I’d like to meet Stella sometime, if she’s alright with meeting others. I’m not entiely sure where it came from either. I know that black magic and black cats have often correlated so I would guess it would be that, but I’m not sure why. Still, it’s very sad that statistically, black cats are the least adopted. Thank you though, I appreciate that,especially when considering you a new friend. I wouldn’t consider myself a workaholic. I have had to work more often lately, and I do work hard to be one of the best at what I do. But I also enjoy leisure time and vacationing as well.
