"Surrounded by tall coniferous forests, this sleepy town gets awoken everyday by the sparkly sunshine reflections from the lake. The local nature invites for lots of fun outdoor activities and maybe even some interesting discoveries! In the heart of Silverwood, you can also enjoy a couple of stores, beautiful historical buildings, and so much more! Doesn't matter if you are here for a short camping visit, or building your own permanent nest… Welcome to smooth, fresh Silverwood!"
I'm happy to announce that my third world is finished! This time I made it using No CC! I did use a few Riverview objects, however they are purely extra decoration and not mandatory!
The world has 50 lots and 73 different Sims. I put extra time to make the world detailed but also trying to make it as lagfree, smooth and routable as possible! And so far it is working for me like a charm! I hope it is the same for you! So yes the world SHOULD be perfect for smooth, long and multi generational gameplay!
I used all Expansion Packs (base spawners and pet spawners included + there are no special seed spawners since I find it more interesting and balanced going on a little adventure finding them like in the catacombs!)
and yes I said it's no CC which is theoretically true hehe but it is built on a small map size and there is no default Distant Terrain for small worlds, so you only only need the small Distant Terrain version of the Uni world here! I hope it's forgiveable! ;) Otherwise it is populated, you don't need a savefile, just plot the .world file into your Non Packaged/Worlds folder and you are good to go!
(Those who have the cc collection for my other worlds installed don't need that!)
Tutorial: How to Install TS3 with DXVK, Sims3SettingsSetter (S3SS), and ReShade in 2026
This is a long-overdue update of my previous, now obsolete tutorial on how to use DXVK and ReShade (d3d9). If you do not use ReShade, you can still follow this guide up until where it is to be installed.
At the time of writing (April 2026), this guide is compatible with and corresponds to Step 1 to 3 of The Sims 3 Performance & Bug Fix Guide 2026, featuring an extra step on how to install ReShade.
If you followed any other guide (including my own) on how to install DXVK and/or ReShade, it is strongly recommended that you start from scratch, meaning you should uninstall DXVK AND Reshade completely. Believe me when I say this: it will save you a lot of time, frustration, and make your life so much easier.
For the purpose of this tutorial, I am on Steam version 1.67.2.024037 on Windows 11, but it should work for discs 1.67 and EA App 1.69 versions, too. This guide does not cover GShade.
Without further ado, let's begin!
Backup your files, even the entire folder (EA Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin or steamapps\common\The Sims 3\Game\Bin) if you want to be extra safe; you will thank yourself later. If you do not wish to backup the entire folder, at the very least backup the following:
Keep them somewhere secure, for your peace of mind (and sanity).
Firstly, to fully uninstall DXVK, you should remove the following files:
d3d9.dll (if you hover your cursor over the file, it will read: Company: DXVK)
dxvk.conf
TS3.dxvk-cache (or TS3W.dxvk-cache)
Secondly, remove remnant files of previously installed ReShade (you did create a backup, right?):
d3d9.dll (located at the Bin folder, if you hover your cursor over the file, it will read: Company: crosire)
ReShade.ini
ReShade.log
⚠️There are a couple more steps. Please follow the instructions here.
Get the latest version here on GitHub:
Click on the version that has the 'Latest' tag next to it (2.7.1 as of now), scroll down to 'Assets', and click on dxvk-x.x.x.tar.gz to download DXVK.
Open dxvk-x.x.x.tar.gz, click on x32, and locate d3d9.dll from within.
Download a copy of dxvk.conf from this page by clicking on the tiny icon on the right.
Drag both d3d9.dll AND dxvk.conf to the Bin folder (EA Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin or steamapps\common\The Sims 3\Game\Bin); that is where TS3.exe and TS3W.exe are located.
Open dxvk.conf with Notepad or Notepad++, 'Ctrl + A' to select all, and hit delete. Yes, delete everything inside. Once you've emptied the file, enter the following:
Copy your Options.ini from your backup folder (you did make a backup, right?) into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 folder.
Because we have 'tricked' the game into recognising our modern GPU as a GTX 580, we must edit one single line within the Options.ini to keep our preferred in-game settings intact.
Hit 'Ctrl + G', type in '150' to go to that line, and replace it with:
lastdevice = 0;10de;1080;65535
'Ctrl + S' to save.
⚠️Thanks to DXVK, from now on whenever there's a GPU driver update, we no longer need to keep the 'lastdevice' line up-to-date to prevent your in-game settings from being reset. You can leave it alone forever, once and for all. The last digit of '65535' is a placeholder value for driver versions and remains constant as long as you are using DXVK.
Launch the game to confirm that DXVK is working. By default, the debug HUD should show up in the top left corner of your screen. What's more, your graphics settings should not have reset.
If you're still not convinced that DXVK is working, go to your Bin folder and look for a file called: TS3_d3d9.log or TS3W_d3d9.log and inspect its content:
If you see these correctly documented in your log file, DXVK is working as intended.
⚠️ NB: This newer version of DXVK no longer generates a cache file by default, meaning that there will not be a TS3.dxvk-cache or TS3W.dxvk-cache any more.
Get the latest version here on GitHub:
Click on the version that has the 'Latest' tag next to it (1.5.0 as of now), scroll down to 'Assets', and click on Sims3SettingsSetter.asi to download S3SS.
An ASI Loader is required for S3SS to function properly, and now so we need to install it.
However, if you use any of the listed LazyDuchess mods:
Mono Patcher Library;
Pixel Shader Modding Framework;
Shadow Extender (TS3);
or Split Level Light Fix,
you should already have an ASI loader (in the form of wininet.dll) located inside your Bin folder, and you can use that instead.
As you can see in the screenshot below, LD's Shader Framework came shipped with an ASI loader, as the other 3 mods do.
If you do not use any of the mods listed above, or that you wish to get a newer version of ASI loader for the game, you can get it from here (Ultimate ASI Loader by ThirteenAG):
To install, drag Sims3SettingsSetter.asi AND wininet.dll to your Bin folder.
And that is S3SS and its prerequisite successfully installed, now we should launch the game (again) and check if it's working.
Once the game has launched, hit 'Insert' key to toggle on S3SS interface.
⚠️ If nothing happens after pressing ' Insert', remove a folder called 'S3SS' (located at: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3) and reinstall from Step 2 again.
From S3SS interface, select 'Patches' on the top.
Here I recommend enabling all performances patches, but choose only one flavour for the Smooth Patch: Original or Precise.
Next, click on 'Other/QoL' tab, tick the box next to 'Enable Memory Warning', and increase the warning threshold to 3.8 GB.
Navigate downwards to 'Borderless Window' and choose 'Fullscreen' in the drop-down menu. This will allow you to play in borderless windowed mode.
⚠️ Please note that I do not play TS3 in exclusive fullscreen mode, nor do I recommend doing so; therefore, I cannot provide support for that.
Lastly, don't forget to click on 'File' on the top left corner to save any changes you've made.
Exit the game, it's time to install ReShade.
Download the latest version (with full add-on support) from the official site; it is 6.7.3 at the time of writing.
If you do not download the version with full add-on support, DoF (depth of field) shaders will not work properly upon internet detection.
Select TS3.exe (EA App) or TS3W.exe (disc, Steam), and then choose Vulkan as rendering API, click 'Next'.
If you would prefer not to install any shaders/effects (i.e, you want to keep using your existing ones), click 'Skip'.
On the following page, you'll get to choose to install add-ons. Hit 'Skip', unless you know what you are doing.
Click 'Finish' to complete installation.
At this stage, a new, vanilla ReShade.ini file will be placed in the Bin folder; you may now replace it with the one from your backup folder to recover all preferred settings (such as hotkeys for taking screenshots, directory for shaders etc.). Same thing goes for your reshade-presets and reshade-shaders folder.
Launch the game (for the final time) to check that ReShade has been properly installed.
To toggle S3SS interface, press 'Insert' (or whatever hotkey you've set it to).
⚠️ NB: under ReShade's 'Settings' tab you may need to change 'Input processing' to either 'Pass on all input' or 'Block input when cursor is on overlay' to tweak S3SS settings whilst ReShade's GUI is visible. Otherwise, you'll need to toggle ReShade's menu off first.
That is the end of this tutorial.
Congratulations, you have successfully installed DXVK, S3SS, and ReShade! You may now open dxvk.conf and remove line dxvk.HUD from it.
Whew, what a long tutorial. If you've made it this far, great job. 🎉
Hope you've found this helpful; comment down below, or send me an ask/DM if you've any questions. I'll try my best to troubleshoot with you. Happy simming! ⭐

Today marks 25 years of The Sims. Since EA forgot TS3 exists, I’m releasing the entire The Sims 3 Store as an Anniversary Gift. It's all pre-installed and works flawlessly!
It comes with all available fixes and collection folders I’ve personally created for every set. You'll get over 5000 new Buy/Build and CAS items, 11 new worlds, and tons of new gameplay!
INSTRUCTIONS
Go to "Documents/Electronic Arts" and rename the "The Sims 3" folder (or move it).
Create a new folder and name it "The Sims 3" (or whatever the name is in your language).
Extract the contents of the ZIP file in "The Sims 3." Now launch the game.
You'll have to adjust your setting again. Don't forget to disable the in-game Store so you don't get duplicates.
Quit the game. Copy the "Saves" folder from the folder you have previously renamed. You can also copy your Mods and CC in package format.
CAUTION
Never copy over or overwrite the DCCache folder.
If you have content installed through the Launcher (Sims3Pack), you'll have to reinstall it.
I strongly recommend you don't install things through the Launcher from now. It already has a lot of content and it is a known fact the Launcher becomes more and more unstable the more content it has to handle.
Since the entire Store has been decrapified, if you want to install lots or world that contain Store content, you'll have to decrapify those too using MATY's TS3 Recompressor.
I had a report that there was an invisible top in CAS. It doesn't seem to have a CASP resource so it shouldn't cause any issues (like being assigned to a random Sim). It's best to avoid it or hide it or blacklist it using NRaas mods. Do NOT try to save the game while your Sim is "wearing" this invisible top.
UPDATE #1: MARCH 2025
Added some missing content: the Mother Russia CAS Set and the Cool Chap Cap that was given as a secret bonus item in the "Make Me an Offer" page. If there's something else missing, please let me now.
Now NRaas MasterController and the Cheats and Integration modules are included in the pack. This version NRaas MC comes with CAS Compact Mode enabled by default. This should fix the issue of blank/invisible CAS items and also speed up the loading of CAS items. Keep in mind, these mods aren't compatible with Lazy Duchess' Smooth Path, but you can have both. Her mod will automatically disable the fast loading of CAS items.
If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to me. I've put a lot of effort into making the installation process as smooth and straightforward as possible. Dag Dag!
One day I will finish an entire world before starting another one, but that is not today. I watched a movie with a cute little New England town and had the urge to build something similar.

This is hands down the best custom world of the year so far! I've seen some amazing Brynmar makeovers by other players before, but they were for personal gameplay and never shared publicly. This version by EliOrni is incredibly impressive. Every lot she built matches the style of this world flawlessly. The warm lighting from Dragon Valley also adds the finishing touch, creating a cozy town vibe. My favorite part is the woodlands. With lakes and various lots scattered throughout, it holds an endless beauty and serenity, making it the ideal area to enjoy a relaxing day. I'll definitely pick this world for my future legacy challenges. Thanks again to @floweringash for bringing us such an amazing world!
With DXVK and S3SS living their high days, older Sims 3 installment guides are rapidly starting to become outdated. So here's a brand new and up-to-date step-by-step guide to go through when you do a fresh install of your game that will help you get the best performance you could possibly imagine for this old and laggy gem of a game.
Have Sims 3 installed, but is it performing abhorrently? I highly recommend a fresh install. You don't have to delete your saves or mods. Just get yourself a fresh bin to work with by uninstalling, going into your program files The Sims 3 folder and deleting any remnant files still in there. Then follow my guide!
All of the steps to follow are below the line ->
Step 1: install your game through your respected platform.
Just follow the regular steps and install the game without adding any other stuff yet whatsoever.
(I personally have a legit copy of the Sims 3 on Steam. If you use another app and have any questions, I'll probably not be able to help you.)
Step 2: run the game once through the official launcher. Once you get to the main menu, you can quit again.
It is very important you run your game through the original launcher at least once after installing it. Not doing so can cause problems with programs like CC magic. You only need to do it the first time. After that, we'll be skipping the launcher entirely.
Step 3: Create a short cut of TS3W.exe on your desktop.
You'll be skipping the launcher from now on. This helps with performance and it starts up your game much faster. It is also important to do this because of DXVK.
You can find TS3W.exe in your bin folder. For me (Steam version) it's in this location:
Right click TS3W.exe, click 'show more options' and choose 'create a shortcut'. Place this shortcut on your desktop and Run Sims 3 from there from now on.
Step 4: Run the GPU Add-on Support patcher
You can find this patcher here. It is essential to run this because Sims will otherwise not recognize your graphics card unless it's over 10 years old. This patcher helps to get your GPU recognized.
The patcher will create a new Graphicsrules.sgr and new Graphicscards.sgr for you in your bin folder. After installing this, you can move the ones that have _old behind them somewhere else (or delete them).
Step 5: Install DXVK
Make sure you follow this guide by Nornities and do every single step. Don't skip anything! Make sure you install the version in this guide (DXVK 2.3.1)
I'd say DXVK is pretty essential nowadays, especially if you have a modern graphics card with 6GB of VRAM or higher. It'll greatly help to keep your game stable and can prevent a lot of crashes. The way Dxvk works, is that it loads textures through your VRAM instead of your RAM. Especially when you use a lot of CC or HD textures, this will make a huge difference for your RAM usage. Sims 3 can only use 4GB of RAM at once and will start crashing once you hit the 3GB mark in your task manager. With DXVK, you will use a lot less RAM and it'll take much longer for your game to reach this hard cap.
When not to install DXVK: if you have a shitty GPU (like an integrated graphics card on a laptop, or one with 4GB of VRAM or less).
Step 6: Start up the game
Use your new desktop shortcut that also has 'run as administrator' permissions now if you followed the DXVK guide properly.
Step 7: set up all your settings through the ingame options menu
The best graphics settings for you will highly depend on what computer you're using. But there are some things you should always turn off because they negatively affect performance. I will share my (relevant) settings with you (I use a custom UI so your screen style will look a little different from mine). Click on the images to enlarge them so you can read them:
Things of note about these settings:
I recommend you play in windowed mode, especially if you plan to use ReShade. Playing fullscreen is possible, but it does make Reshade presets behave differently in your game. I will include a step in this guide that you can follow to play windowed borderless. So, when you plan to do this: make sure you set the resolution to your display resolution.
Enable object hiding helps with performance. Advanced rendering is essential because otherwise your game looks like absolute shit.
Set your High Detail Lots to any value between 2 and 4. Don't go lower or higher, because you'll get rendering issues that lag out your game.
All other graphics settings can be set to your heart's desire. I'd say start with the highest settings and only go down if you notice your frames per second are bad.
Disable shop mode and lessons and fully disable memories or use this mod to severly limit them. Disable interactive loading screens as well. These are all performance eaters. Interactive loading screen also causes crashes. Memories also don't do anything for your sim, it's just a scrap book with no in-game effects.
Disable any online mode feature. This also lags out your game. Unless you really want to use these features it's best to just play fully offline.
Save your settings, close the game again.
Step 8: Install Sims 3 Settings Setter
This is the most recent magic genie that Sims 3 was blessed with. Especially combined with DXVK it is a life changer. Installing it is simple. You download the most recent version here and drop the .asi file in your bin. Also grab 'wininet.dll' from here (the 32 bit one) and drop that one in your bin too.
Start up your game and load up a save. Once you're inside your save, you press 'insert' to open up the menu for Sims 3 Settings Setter. Go to the 'patches' tab and enable what you like. These are my enabled patches and they all work really well for me, but feel free to experiment with them to find your own performance sweet spot:
Only enable uncompressed textures if you have a GPU with at least 8gb of VRAM. My game will use over 6gb of VRAM easily with this enabled, so you've been warned.
Once you have everything you desire enabled, press 'file' in the top left corner and click 'save settings'.
Step 8.5: if you're playing windowed mode: go into the Other/QoL tab and enable 'Borderless Window'. Set it to 'Full Screen'.
Save your settings and close your game again. No need to save the game you entered for this unless you want to.
Step 9: Install Nraas Errortrap, MasterController and Overwatch
These 3 mods by Nraas are pretty much essential to keep your game from breaking down in the long run. You can download the mods here. Have you never installed a mod for Sims 3 before? Here's a guide (skip the part about Sims3pack and go straight to the part where it explains how to install .package mods).
That's it! You can now play The Sims 3 and it'll be as smooth and stable as it'll ever be. From here on, you can stock your game with more mods and CC (check out my mods masterlist!), or you can install Reshade (here's a guide).
Some important things to keep in mind while playing:
Clean up your game regularly. You can easily do this by using Regul Save Cleaner.
When you install a new mod or update/change Sims 3 Settings Setter, always restart and clear your caches.
Use CC Magic for installing CC, because it merges your files and this really helps with performance. Here's a handy guide on how to use it. Don't put your script mods in here, just your CC.
If you plan to travel to vacation destinations in the EP World Adventures, Nraas Traveler is a must to prevent most of the bugs and crashes that happen in this expansion.
Always keep in mind: mods and corrupt CC can still break your game, make it laggy or unplayable. Always be mindful of the mods you add, so you can always trace any issues you're having back to the mod causing it. I highly recommend not downloading a ton of mods in one session, but adding them step by step and see what they do to your games performance.
Use 'Reset the entire town' from Nraas MasterController at least every other sim week. It'll help clear up any lag that happens because of NPC sims getting themselves stuck routing or annoying stuff like that.
Got a slow CAS? Use Nraas MasterController Compact mode! (Make sure you have the Nraas MasterController Integration module installed).
Navigate to NRaas > MasterController > Settings > CAS.
ICOLOPOLIS was at its beginning a vast orange grove on the right bank of Llama River, surrounded by a few peasant houses.
Ico Lopoli, its owner, was so skilled, ambitious and enterprising that in a few years those few houses became a prosperous, populated, modern and lively city.
Despite the fame of Icolopolis, nobody knows what happened to Ico Lopoli: he mysteriously disappeared, after an incredible long and surprisingly prosperous life.
Who knows, maybe he is still alive, hiding himself in disguise somewhere in the city…
Is Icolopolis worth a coffee?
Icolopolis is available for free.
However, if you appreciate all the love and efforts I put in building it, every small DONATION will be very appreciated. I’ll be very happy to create even more beautiful stuff for your game.
So, please, DONATE.
Thank you. :-)

Known issues:
The Owner’s door of the big show venue from Showtime is bugged (the owner walks inside instead of came out), so - just in case you will start a new game WITHOUT using my “Icolopolis POPULATED” save file - I suggest you to delete that door (using Moveobjects on), and replace it with the cloned one you’ll find in the Doors section.
I’ve cloned the basketball hoop from the Store (named cloned_basketball_hoop.package).It works fine, with its proper animations and sounds, and the original file from the Store is non required, but your Sims will play with an invisible basket ball. If you own the original basketball hoop from the Store, replace mine with your (you can eventually delete it from the Icolopolis CC folder).
Download:
Here you can find all the necessary files:
Icolopolis : the whole scenery (install it via Launcher)
Icolopolis_POPULATED save file (requires game patched 1.69):
- alternative download HERE - Mediafire
a fully populated save file. Unzip it in your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saves folder, then load it as a normal save file once in game. If you experience lags using this file, delete some of the largest families, or alternatively use the following save file:
Icolopolis_NPC_only save file (requires game patched 1.69):
- alternative download HERE - Mediafire
a save file with no families, just all the NPCs (non-player characters) requested to fulfill all the available services in the city. Unzip it in your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Saves folder, then load it as a normal save file once in game.
CC_Icolopolis_Overrides (10,6 mb):
- alternative download HERE - Mediafire
this file contains some override packages files requested for the game. Unzip it in your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Overrides folder.
CC_Icolopolis_Merged (375 mb):
- alternative download HERE - Mediafire
it contains ALL the necessary CC, merged into few packages files. Unzip in your Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 3 / Mods / Packages folder. The zip file includes also a list of all the merged files, so you can eventually replace any single packages file you already own with the corresponding merged file containing it.
The use of the merged files instead of single packages is highly recommended in order not to lower your PC’s performance while gaming.
CC_Icolopolis_SINGLE_FILES (378 mb):
- alternative download HERE - Mediafire
the same content as the file above, just not merged. Download it at your choice.Use alternatively to the merged files.

Special thanks to @nornities and @simsmidgen for all their precious suggestions and help (without they Icolopolis would be heavier and laggy!), as well to @dylan-walsh-sim, @applekissims and @mllwio for testing.
I got tired of my sims just sitting around neglecting their house and responsibilities, so I made some changes to push them to be productive. Most interactions were only autonomous for sims with the neat trait, so I made cleaning a priority for all sims except for slobs.
Made changes to the laundry system. Sims will do the whole laundry process autonomously. The process includes doing laundry, drying clothes in both the dryer and on the clothesline, and getting clean laundry from both the dryer and clothesline. Sims will also pick up their dirty clothes from the floor.
All cleaning interactions listed below are now a priority to sims.
Wash dishes (sims will prefer to use the dishwasher if they have access to one)
have you guys noticed that I name all of my lookbooks after songs?? I know it's so random but music always strikes inspiration for me.

this is the third lookbook on my page (it's kind of more of a haul tbh) and the one that I've probably spent the most time on so I hope everyone enjoys the hairssss!!

💗I made this mod so that my divorced sims can send their babies, toddlers, children & teens back and forth to each other for a few days at a time!
💗This mod adds fully functional weekend stays for any Sim from babies to elders. Now your Sims can spend the weekend at a friend or family member’s house, or invite them over to stay!
💗Examples on how you guys could use it:
✨Invite Grandma over for the weekend to watch the grandkids
✨Send kids (even babies!) to hang out with their Aunt for the weekend
✨Invite friends to stay the weekend or visit a friends house for the weekend (choose from 1, 3, or 7 days!)
More info about features and compatibility on my patreon!
💗 I made this mod so that parents (and any Sim Teen+) can actually drive toddlers in their car, drop their kids to school, drive sims home, and drive Sims to work. This is probably my favorite mod that I have created because I can finally drive my toddler sims around! I have been getting sooo much use out of this mod. I also added a "hang out in car" interaction for sims who just want to hang out in their car.
💗 Examples of how you guys might use it:
✨ Play a strict “no school bus” household where the parents personally drop the kids off every morning.
✨ Run a chaotic single-parent storyline where the toddler has to come along on school drop-off because there’s nobody to leave them with. (This is how I've been using it)
✨ Do realistic routines: drop the teens at school, then immediately drive yourself to work.
✨ Roleplay a “carpool mom” who picks up multiple neighborhood kids and drops them off together.
✨ Tell stories where Sims hang out in the car, or pick up their friends to drop them off at work. (With this mod, you can drop off ANY sim at work: the mod will automatically find the sims job and route the car to the workplace)
💗 Core Features
💗 Car-Click + Inventory-Click Interactions
This mod injects interactions onto every Car in both places:
In-world click on the car
Click the car from inventory
So you can run the whole system even if the car is being carried/stored.
💗 Infants & Toddlers Ride Along (No Babysitter Popup)
Before the driver leaves, the mod:
✨ Teleports toddlers into the car first
✨ Seats them before the driver gets in
✨ Prevents the game from throwing the “babysitter”/left behind logic
This means you can do school drop-offs even when the household has little ones.
Also! This mod is meant to work for babies as well, but I have not had the time to test the babies, so please let me know if you have issues with the babies teleporting into the car. I have tested the toddlers extensively, and as long as they are on the same lot as the parent, they will teleport into the car when using the "drop off" interactions.
💗 NEW CAR INTERACTION: Drop Off At School (Exact School RabbitHole)
Drop Off At School lets you:
✨ Pick the child/teen students
✨ Automatically bring babies/toddlers from the actor’s household on the lot as ride-alongs
✨ Drive to the exact school lot tied to the students
✨ Everyone gets out on arrival (You must click the new "Park and Get Out" interaction for the sims to exit the car once they arrive at their destination.)
✨ Only the correct students are routed into that same school rabbithole object
✨ Babies/toddlers and adults stay outside (not forced into school)
Optional: A popup will ask you if you would like cancel school bus pickup for the selected students. You can choose no (which means you are just dropping them off for that day). If you choose yes, bus pickup will disabled for the selected children until your next game session.
💗 NEW CAR INTERACTION: Drop Off At Work (Exact Workplace RabbitHole)
Drop Off At Work lets you:
✨ Pick YA/Adult/Elder Sims with occupations
✨ Drive to their resolved workplace
✨ Everyone gets out on arrival (Choose the "Park and Get Out" interaction)
✨ Only the selected working Sims are routed into that exact rabbithole object
💗 NEW CAR INTERACTION: Drive Home (With Passenger Picker)
When your Sim is away from home:
✨ Choose passengers on the lot
✨ Driver is always included automatically
✨ Drive to the driver’s home lot
💗 NEW CAR INTERACTION: Drive Sim Home (Drive Someone Else Home)
✨ Choose Sims who are away from their own home
✨ The destination is the shared home lot of the Sims you selected
✨ Driver is included automatically
✨ Great for “drive my friend home” storylines
💗 NEW CAR INTERACTION: Park and Get Out of Car (Choose Who Exits)
This interaction gives you control:
✨ Multi-select which occupants exit
✨ If the driver exits too, the mod tries very hard to:
Put the car back into inventory
Park it using EA parking methods (via reflection)
Hard fallback into inventory if parking fails
💗 NEW CAR INTERACTION: Hang Out In Car
A simple realism/story interaction:
✨ Sim routes to the car and sits in it normally
✨ Great for waiting outside school, chilling, or “talking in the car” roleplay
💗 Future ideas for this mod might include:
✨ Listen to Music in Car interaction (I tried VERY hard to get this working for the first version of this mod. I got really close! The car plays music while the sim is in it, but I REALLY wanted the option to listen to custom stations as well, and I could not get it working after weeks of testing. I'm not giving up on it though!)
✨This mod is releasing as a Beta version because I have not had time to test the infant/baby riding in the car extensively. I have tested the toddlers and they are able to sit in the car (with a little stretching). Also the car positioning can be a little off when entering the car, so I am working on that. Anyway sorry for the wall of text, I hope you guys get as much use from this mod as I have!
I've updated my Expanded Active Households mod to a new edition, adding in lots of new features such as stayovers, a new interactive daycare system, custom babysitters and separated bills!

Draft A Will, Pass Down Heirlooms, Give Grandkids Money + More!
Excited to release my Elder Socials interaction mod for early access on Monday 10/6!
Now your elder sims have 10 new interactions to use with loved ones. This mod also adds an inheritance system, the ability to choose any item to pass down as family heirlooms, and 10 new buffs.
Elder sims can "Slip Grandchild $20", instantly transferring 20 simoleons to the selected sim.
Elder sims can "Pass Down Family Recipe" , instantly teaching a new recipe to the target sim.
Elder sims who "Worry About Health" will automatically want to work out more, and may go look for workout equipment to use on the lot or go for a jog.
There is a new menu on the City Hall called "Family Papers" where Elder sims can go to Draft a will.
Elder Sims can choose any amount to leave a sim in their household after their death. They can leave an inheritance to multiple sims. Or they can choose to leave everything to one sim (oh the drama!).
The inheritor can then go to the courthouse and "Claim Inheritance" to receive their full inheritance.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
P.S.: if you pirate your game you'll have to do this manually, there's guides online for it but since I have a legit copy I can't help you here.
Step 5: Install DXVK
Make sure you follow this guide by Nornite and do every single step. Don't skip anything!
Step 5: Start up the game
Use your new desktop shortcut that also has 'run as administrator' permissions now if you followed the DXVK guide properly.
Step 6: set up all your settings through the ingame options menu
Step 7: Install Sims 3 Settings Setter
Step 7.5: if you're playing windowed mode: go into the Other/QoL tab and enable 'Borderless Window'. Set it to 'Full Screen'.
Save your settings and close your game again. No need to save the game you entered for this unless you want to.
Step 8: Install Nraas Errortrap, MasterController and Overwatch
Set the following to True:
Show in Compact Form: Accessories
Show in Compact Form: Clothing
Show in Compact Form: Hats
