#for context lol basically in original sin it was revealed to bruce that tony made modifications to his bomb the night before it was tested #because tony found a big flaw in it that might cause a bigger catastrophe. like literally killing bruce and everyone in the military base #kinda catastrophe #but bruce saw this as just tony meddling with his work again and potentially causing him to be the hulk #and tony can't tell bruce the truth anymore because if he did #bruce will only be more miserable because he can't even succeed at making a bomb #this is the definition of their friendship truly #they are science bros but they are also oil and water #they can't mix #but they will also protect each other from themselves ya know
