In England, London about 60% of Islamophobia victims were women, women who wore headscarfs. However women who wore the niqab suffered more aggressive incidents.

Now 60% is a high percentage but that number is people reported, think about the times you suffered Islamophobia attacks whether it was physical or abusive but didn’t report it.

Reminder these stats are just London, they don’t reflect the whole of England. For all we know that percentage could be way higher.
