Oscar talking about Mark in the High Performance podcast:
When things are tense and difficult, who in the world of F1 can you lean on?
"Um... Mark, definitely. [...] The relationship's good, [Mark is] very thorough. When I first got into F1 Mark would come out with questions and ideas that hadn’t even entered my brain. I would hear he say it and would go 'how the hell did he think of that?' and 'how am I ever gonna think of that?' And now I have either the answers to those questions or the questions to keep asking, which just comes with experience. Naturally, there’s less and less for Mark to do on the racing side of things the more experienced I become.
Especially in the first couple of years, there’s some lessons you have to learn the hard way, but I'm sure there could’ve been some other slightly annoying or tough lessons to learn that I was probably spared because of Mark’s experience and Mark’s guidance. There’s probably always gonna be situations or things that have gone smoothly or almost-problems that weren't problems that I'm never gonna know about because Mark managed them for me."

tw: "we hear lots of success stories of people that are very driven, that have a big ego, and that gets them a long way, but the ones who succeed longer are ones who grow slowly. they are self aware. i think that is a very important personality trait that you need to have today."
nr: "i'm not so sure, because if you look at verstappen, for example, he is like a narcissist you would write in the dictionary. how can you not question yourself if you do six times the same mistake, and on the seventh time, you do the same thing, but it happens to work because you have so much talent and that turns it around to a huge success streak. so i'm not so convinced that you are right with that. an extreme narcissist when you have the right talent can be an extremely powerful force, maybe the most powerful."

Hiding the Getty Watermark
Plenty of people have talked about this one before but I can't find anything rn. Have had a few people dm/ask about this since I mentioned it offhand in a post. Took a bit of time but have written a tutorial. Includes gifs of what I'm doing.
No generative AI, just old-fashioned image editing.
This trick is not intended for stealing from Getty or the photographer who owns the rights to the image. This is meant for non-profit, transformative fan content such as sports web weaving.
The "hiding" part isn't magic and isn't going to give you a perfect, full resolution image. Someone looking closely, who knows what to look for, will be able to see were the work was done.
Good news!! Most people aren't looking that close, they're reading the poetry you pasted to the image and weeping about your web weave.
Kimi Antonelli, 2026's Canadian Grand Prix Winner.
