Gemy Maalouf took an ambitious step by bringing her unique flair to the fashion-conscious bride in 2004 with the GEMY MAALOUF Bridal line. In 2006, she once again embraced progress and change with her GEMY “Le Prêt” line, which provides a complete range of formal attire, from tops and skirts to short dresses. Finally in 2007, feeling the increasing demand for her designs from a niche of clientele with lower budgets, Gemy launched her 2nd line Beside Couture by GEMY providing the style at more affordable prices. Here is her latest collection.

DECOUPAGE BY CLAIRE PETTIBONE SPRING/SUMMER 2014

Decoupage is french and refers to the age old art of cutting and layering paper cutouts for the purpose of decorating wooden boxes, chests, and other objects. This beautiful collection by Claire Pettibone is just that. It's a layering of chantilly lace and guipure, silks and vintage laces, flowers and other exquisite handmade details. You can definitely see the whimsy and feminine details on her bridal gowns that you will find in her RTW collection. Without a doubt, the blush pink gown is my favorite. This is her S/S 2014 collection and will be available in salons in the next few months. So if you are early in your wedding planning, you have time.
