Stinky man :/

“I see…So you can hear me tapping my nails through your headphones…yet you say you cannot concentrate because, I assume, the noise of my tapping, makes you unable to focus. Yet you have headphones. With what I assume is music that is playing.”

She made sure to state every word with precision, a slow enunciation delivered with exaggerated purpose (one could say she was being quite vindictive), the sliver of anger smoldering from the hypocrisy of his words. She took a long moment to consider placing a hex upon the brute, perhaps one to aid in his utter lack of awareness- or maybe to give him the foresight of his surroundings!

Carmen did neither. Instead she gave the table a final rhythmic tap before her gaze caught and held his own: in her eyes was a rage that was metaphoric to an inferno. Those that caught sight of her eyes were quick to scurry out of sight, while many paled and fled with fright-filled haste.

“Do you understand how utterly idiotic you sound? I am beginning to think that your own comfort the main priority rather than the majority- and if my small habit did cause any inconvenience to others, I believe they would have been far more polite than you have shown.”

With a dramatic flair, energy gathered to the tips of her fingers until her appendage emitted a soft glow, heightening the atmosphere with living tension.

“Here: a small gift, from myself to you, so that you may think before you speak. May your days be blighted thrice: that for every selfish act you commit, you will be struck deaf until you realize your own fault and correct your action.

As I have said, so it shall be.”

With the spell cast, her body turned away, the abrupt departure leaving only her scent and the lingering dust of her cast magick. The last sight he would see was the wind passing through her hair and the playful billow of her sundress before the door closed with a final shut.

     Jeez, this woman had such a mouthful of complaints just because he had a simple problem with her tapping. Honestly, Jude had forgotten the headphones were latched into his ear. They helped muffle out the sounds of all the commotion around him. People talked loud and everything was a lot quieter with headphones. So, of course she would assume music was playing in them, and that was when her own assumption went a little too far as in words and weird voodoo. 

     Jude cocked an eyebrow at her enraged comments and behavior, leaving him with such a weird vibe, one he didn’t feel to keen on letting her get away with. He was silent throughout her outburst; only rolling his eyes on a few occasions. But, when she was finished, he spitefully came after her in a fume of annoyance. Having a the last word was his way, no one elses. Though, he was beginning to fall hard of hearing.

               “ Hey !! ”

“Perhaps if you were concentrating harder, you wouldn’t hear the tapping, now, wouldn’t you?”

Her words were cutting & abrasive, a direct reflection that colored her temper. If anyone felt irritation, it was her. She, from her standpoint, was focused on a task of utmost importance, and he was being rude.to the point of evoking her ire!

Honestly!

“Just because you lack the ability to focus does not mean you should hinder other’s thought-process.”

     Expression grew sour. Women were nothing be annoying; all the time it seemed! The shear audacity to render a comment fiercely in return made his eyes narrow, and brow furrow in irritation. But, to yell out something else in this manner would point fingers at him for being the bad guy, and he already was having a rough day. Though, that thought of reasoning didn’t seem to register as he spoke again.

               “ I’m not the only one                   annoyed, lady. If I can                   hear you through my                   headphones, we got                   ourselves a problem. ”

         A single eye twitched as her smile slightly faltered. 

                                            “    Eh?    “

She tilted her head to the side, her hands remained in the knuckle cracking position for a while until they dropped by her sides. Usually people didn’t like heights, or having other people use their quirks on them. 

              “ Uhm, why exactly?   “ If she was going to do this, she would want to know a reason.

     Her reaction didn’t seem to keen on doing his request. Smile stayed, only to prolong his excitement. 

                “ Isn’t it obvious ??                    I want to fly !! ”

     Now, position was once again given for take off, and hand stretched out towards her to touch in order to active it. Like a little child on Christmas, Jude’s excitement was over barely uncontrollable.

   Kanami gave a small sigh as he watched his handful of orange slices spill onto the ground, but didn’t waste time in picking them up – eyeing one to confirm there was no serious harm, before plopping it into his mouth. Five-second rule, right? His pale hues lazily lifted up to the towering person, giving a tilt of his head. Ah, was he saying something. Kanami chewed slowly, in no hurry to pull out his phone.

   [   Pardon? Could you repeat that, I couldn’t hear you from down here.  ]   Or at all.

    Was this guy serious? Jude couldn’t tell by the blank expression the other wore so well. Either way – he gave a chuckle from the audacity in return. At least the little guy had some balls or just oblivious to them. A hand hovered over the other’s head, patting it once, gently.

              “ Ha !! That’s hilarious.                  Check out this big man                  right here. ‘couldn’t hear                  you from down here’ that                  kills me !! What sass,                  you’re alight. Sorry for                  accidentally running into                  ya. You alright shorty ?? ”

     Demeanor changed, a smile appeared and hands slipped into his pockets, relaxed. But, he noticed the oranges and quickly chimed in.

Uraraka     swiftly     turned her head when she heard her name being called out by someone she didn’t know.

                                                 “    Me? Oh yes, that is my quirk.    “ The brunette replied, a small smile stretching her lips.  

                  “   Why? Do you need help with anything?   “ The young female asked as she cracked her knuckles, preparing for any action the male might request. 

                  “ Great !! ”

      Good it was the girl, he was correct. With a sudden smile, he nodded frantically and prepared a stance in defense. Although, it wasn’t for battle. Hands clapped once out of excitement before taking a deep breath to speak once more.
