DMC: Vergils Downfall

  Vergil has always been the enemy of Dante’s throughout the past Devil May Cry games, but he was depicted as a dear long lost brother of Dante in Ninja Theory’s new take on the DMC franchise. We see them discover their childhood as we play through the game and it looked to be like an interesting shift in their dynamic.

  However by the end of the game we see the reason behind why Vergil was always the enemy of Dante.

The DLC: Vergil’s Downfall continues the event of the DMC. Vergil is left wounded and conflicted with himself and the action of his brother.

  I just purchased the DLC a couple of days ago, I have played a couple of hours of it and to be honest, I don’t like it.

DMC is currently the best game I have played in 2013. It is the game I have had most fun in with the combat system being the star. I loved how fluid Dante moved and how effortlessly you could switch weapons chaining all his combos together. It simply made look and feel badass.

  That was the main problem I found with Vergil’s Downfall. Maybe I got accustomed with the way Dante play but Vergil just felt slow and disjointed to me. His controls felt a tad unresponsive
