It has been quite some time... but here is another column card! Sky High's this time, it was excellent to read about his various hobbies. I have included some links at the bottom for reference as to exactly what they are.
As for the column cards, I now have Nathan's myself, and the text of the remaining two, so hopefully they will be coming along soon.
SKY HIGH
(excerpt from Monthly "Let's Go: Culture School"'s "All About My Hobby" corner)
Hello, I am Sky High. Is everyone well?
The first hobby I had must have been when I was in 3rd grade. That hobby was kendama. In the beginning, I couldn't do it very well, but I kept at it and eventually I started to get the hang of it. After that, I practiced every night, with both the big and the small cup of course, and I got to the point where I could perform tricks such as "around the world" and "moshimoshi kameyo", I reached the level where the majority of people I showed would go "ooh". I think it was at this time that I realised that things such as being praised by others were something that felt good.
From there, my next hobby was roller skating. Although I had only just started at the time, it was enjoyable, so I traveled by roller skates to school, to go play, everywhere. As I couldn't skate well, I can remember even to this day the fear I felt when I nearly got into minor accidents with cars. However, even then I did not decide to give up roller skating. I think that I quite liked it. I tried my hardest at roller skating, continuing to do it, and similar to kendama, I reached the level where people would go "ooh". I thought, if I give it a try, I can do anything. I was so happy. Following from that, I have had various hobbies.
For example, the theremin. Initially, I couldn't discern even whether it was a musical instrument or not, but I watched my friend perform with it and was very moved. "This is truly a musical instrument," I felt. Although I had begun the theremin as an adult, I tried to play it and found it to be exceedingly complex. It left a deep impression on me, so I made sure to practice it on my days off. When I had somewhat reached the level where I could debut to other people, I called my friends and held a theremin concert. It seems that there were some among my friends who had not seen a theremin before, as they listened to the performance with curious expressions. I think that is likely that I too, had made a similar face at my friend who had taught me about the theremin. Thinking of that now, it was a little embarrassing. When I received applause at the conclusion of my performance, I thought that I had done it well.
And then, at this very moment, what I am learning is painting. Drawn in by the slogan of "Won't you try allowing your hands to bring a masterpiece into existence?" at the front of a painting school, I entered the gates. At the start, I was doubtful, but I tried doing it, and found it to be unexpectedly interesting. I was enraptured with the world of painting, and had become thoroughly a captive to it. I had started with rough sketches of apple trees, but right now I almost exclusively use John, my pet dog, as my model. I paint many pieces, but John will not change his pose for me, so the finished works all look quite similar. I have asked many times, but he will not seem to change his pose for me, so this time I think I will try moving to paint from a different angle.
I have reached the point where I can also draw sketches to a certain degree, so I have been thinking if I did it a little more, I could try being creative, perhaps with the brushstrokes, like Picasso. As the works that I am pleased with accumulate, I think that it would be nice call up my friends once again and hold a debut exhibit. Farewell.

Since the film has started to show in a couple of places outside Japan, I thought I would post some more information about these again.
These are little cards, one for each Hero, styled as magazine articles by each of them and written by T&B's screenwriter, Nishida Masafumi. They were given out as bonuses for seeing the film, with 2 to collect each week, and can be kept in a special holder that comes with the Special Edition film pamphlet.
Little elements from each of the cards appear in the film! So keep an eye out when you are watching :> (And sorry that I have not managed to translate them all by now ^^; Just waiting on FE's to arrive, and then the only thing stopping me will be time... however, I can say that in regards to the reference for SH's, you should take a good look at the wall in his room and see if you can spot something related to his hobbies!)
I would definitely recommend reading over Ryan's, as his was one given out for the premiere, so in my mind it is very much a part of experiencing the film.
(Reading it on the train, after spending 17.5 hours in a cinema overnight with no sleep, was definitely a highlight of my trip. It was so cute I'm sure I must have been grinning like an idiot.)
Golden Ryan [Premiere, Week 1]
Blue Rose [Premiere(? most people I saw only got GR, perhaps it was that way on purpose), Week 1]
BARNABY BROOKS Jr.
(Excerpt from Weekly "COSMETIC"'s column, "This Week's Man of Beautiful Skin")
I regard it as a great honour to have been named as this weeks' "Man of Beautiful Skin".
However, although you would like me to share with you the secret of keeping one's skin beautiful, I do not use any special skin maintenance techniques. So, there is not really anything for me to write about.
If pushed to say one thing, I think it would be that lately I have started using a face roller? While there is no need to be concerned about the feel of my skin at present, it was recommend to me by a friend that it is better start while still young, so I began it as a preventative measure. I heard that it was highly effective at improving metabolism and the excretion of waste products through the effect of massage and stimulation to lymph, and I am currently testing it. Face rollers do not require batteries or a power source, and can be used without other products such as serum, so they appeal to me as something not requiring much fuss.
Other than that, I live my life much the same as everyone else. A Hero has an irregular life, where there could be a request for dispatch regardless of the time, but fortunately there has not been a time yet when I have suffered bad skin.
In addition, if there was anything that I particularly endeavored to do, it would just be that I try to eat as many vegetables as possible. I try to eat a balanced diet as much as I am able, with 10 different types of vegetables a day. Iron, vitamins, dietary fiber, oligosaccharide, B-carotene and so on, even to speak only of vegetables, they contain a whole variety of nutrients. And, I take care to not put on too much dressing. If I may request it, I have a preference for low salt, and if possible, additive-free foods. That I read the food content labels goes without saying. If I have time, I also sometimes cook for myself. As that is the safest way, I can then be at ease.
And, I also try not to ingest too much protein from animal-based sources. Tofu instead of meat, not cow's milk but soy, and not butter but olive oil. However keeping a balanced diet is also important, so in the case that I absolutely must have animal-based protein, I try to eat not meat, but fish. That is because fish are more abundant with minerals useful to the body, such as EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). That is all that I keep in mind. I also wash my face in an exceedingly usual manner. Without using a face-wash foam, I simply use a bar of soap. By the way, the bar soap that I use is from an organic products shop, that I put in an order for. Bar soap strips the face of more oils than a face-wash foam, so it's important to moisturise afterwards. I use a face lotion, but it's not anything special. However, before applying the lotion, I cool my face using a cold towel. It is important to ensure the pores opened by washing one's face are provided with plenty of moisture.
And so, there is absolutely nothing that I obsess over.
I think that the reason my skin is seen as beautiful is because the person who is always around me is someone who is careless with theirs.
If I were a little more fussy about myself, I think I could have given a more varied answer, so I am very sorry if I did not live up to your expectations. It is a great shame.
If I have the opportunity, I think I would like to try showing a little more interest in my skin.
I am truly thankful to have been selected as this weeks' "Man of Beautiful Skin".
And from the same week as Wild Tiger, is Rock Bison's column card. It was sadder than I expected, though I like the first kiss story.
After this will be either Dragon Kid or Origami Cyclone... though I am also hoping for some photos of Sky High's one soon!
ROCK BISON
(Excerpt from Weekly "HEROES")
Thump, thump, thump, thump......
My chest was beating at a furious pace.
Although a considerable amount of time has passed since I entered the Hero business, there are still times when even I get nervous.
Which would be the several seconds inside the catapult, before I am sent towards the scene of the incident.
Of course, I think that everyone already knows, but when there is a dispatch request, it's my style to be sent flying to the scene by a catapult.
There have been times where I wished for it happen faster, but if I get worked up over it, once I arrive at the scene I will keep on making mistakes.
So, I decided to try something a little different.
For the time before firing while I was in the catapult, I decided to think about completely different things, to calm myself down.
Closing my eyes, I remembered the times in my life where I shined the brightest.
For example, the winter when I was 7, the time I was handed Valentines' chocolates secretly by the girl I had my first crush on. I was so happy. I couldn't get over it. But the girl stayed silent in front of me, and didn't even try to say anything. When I said thank you, she gave a shy smile and ran away without a word. But words were not really necessary. When I saw her face, it was neither necessary to ask if it was given to me because she meant it or not. My heart shook at the unexpected mutual feelings. In that moment, there is no doubt I shined.
Or, the summer when I was 11, the time when I won the scavenger hunt in my first athletics meet by a huge margin. That summer, all the kids from school were fascinated with me. The media was excited. The crowd was pumped up. The boy who had expected to come first reached the goal late and glared at me. That's right, I was the winner. I squarely sat myself down in first place, and basked in a sense of superiority I had not tasted until then. It was surely the best moment.
Or, the autumn when I was 15, when I was the champion at the judo tournament and was showered with cheers and applause. It was match with my old rival that I wanted to win no matter what. For 3 years, I had been training hard, just thinking of him. There was absolutely no way I could lose. I didn't think of anything of than the two characters, 優勝, champion. And then, all my accumulated knowledge came to fruition, and I triumphed over him. It was the best moment of being rewarded for my efforts.
And then the spring when I was 17, when I kissed my first girlfriend. I think we sat on a bench in Ricky's Park for 3 hours, without quite being able to kiss. Finally, I came out with the pathetic "Is it alright if I kiss you?", and after seeing her nod her head, our lips met. It was very nerve-wracking, but at that time I was also the happiest.
However, all those things are stories from times long gone. I remember, and could nearly cry at my current miserableness.
And then, today as well, I come to be fired out from the catapult.
That's right, so that I can bring out the best of myself......
Here's another column card, Wild Tiger's this time. Apparently, quite difficult to get in the cinemas, and now going for an absolute fortune on auction "orz But thanks to a very kind friend, I now have a few photos to work off for several of the cards! So there will be more soon ;u; Please also look forward to reading about Rock Bison's first kiss w
WILD TIGER
(Excerpt from Weekly "Electronic Heaven")
It was decided that I am to write a magazine column. It seems like I have to write about "home electronics". I don't really know what I can write about, but it's already taken me one hour. Write something, rub it out, write something, rub it out - over and over. I used the eraser Blue Rose gave me, but it doesn't erase at all, just turns the page black. Now, I'm getting desperate. To start with, what can I write about? I've decided to just write out what comes to mind in detail.
By the way, I don't really fuss over my home electronics. There's a problem before I can start getting picky. Lately, the instruction manuals have been getting so thick, not to mention hard to understand. By the time you get to finish reading them, the latest model will be out, won't it? It's got to the point where that's how it feels. Come to think of it, my media player was like that. In the end, I was using it even though I didn't read the manual, but the other day when I thought I would watch a multilingual movie, no subtitles would show up at all so I had no idea what they were saying. But anyway, the main character's actions were comical, so I could still have a laugh and enjoy it, but when I asked around later, it looks like it was quite a moving film. I guess I couldn't get what the film was about at all.
Since then, I've watched a few more movies, but there still weren't any subtitles. No matter what I did, I couldn't get them to show up. I was thinking, of course, it must have been broken from the start. At that time, first of all I decided to try giving it a few good whacks. If there's an electric appliance I can't work, to start with, I hit it. You could say it's a habit of mine.
The other day as well, after I hit my electric range when it wouldn't start, it started making a funny sound every time it heats up. Instead of making a nice "chiiin" sound to let me know it is done, now it goes more like "djii~in". Maybe I shouldn't have hit it.
The reason I got this habit in the first place is because of Grandma. Way back, when Grandma would give the TV a whack if the reception was bad, suddenly the picture would clear up. Watching that sprouted the idea of "Hit an electrical appliance, it will fix it" in me. Other than that, Grandma had all kinds of influence on me. Grandma was a pretty impatient person, so at meal times she would eat without chewing. Even today, I chew up hard candies without sucking them at all, which I think is because of that. I also heard that back then, when Grandma and Grandpa went to a fancy restaurant for their anniversary, she would ask that all the dishes from the hors d'oeuvres to the dessert be bought out in one go, unable to wait for each individual course. I don't do that kind of thing as you may think, but when eating a meal in courses, I can only think about the different menus, wondering what will come out next while eating the food in front of me. I wish I could savour the taste of what's in front of me more, but I can't. I think it's probably Grandma's influence. That I like have my ears cleaned is also Grandma's influence, as is liking pickles, I have no doubts about it. And then, on the topic of me being influenced by Grandma...

Since this is the only other one I have the fortune to have myself, I thought I might as well translate it too! It's quite fun doing these little pieces. Unfortunately... this time it might not be very good? Sorry, I found it really difficult to get the voice right for this one "orz
Also, in this one, Blue Rose uses a few different emoji... they are all cute little bears making different expressions. I'll see if I can take some photos or something tomorrow.
Next one will be dependent one whichever one I get scans/photos for next :>
BLUE ROSE
(Excerpt from Monthly "SIXTEEN")
Everyone~ Hello! It's Blue Rose ♥
Today, I was told everyone wanted me to tell them about my "Recommended ways of studying", but... I don't really know~ Because, I don't really have any. I'd rather you guys tell me instead! I always get short-tempered before a test~ [angry bear picture]
Generally, if you only start studying right before a test, you won't be able to easily memorise anything, will you? Recently, I tried to cram everything without sleeping, but nothing would stay in my head, before I knew it I was dozing off and in the end the test turned out not so great...
So, today instead of my "Recommended ways of studying", I'm going to tell you about "Blue Rose's best ways of lifting your spirits"!
Is that okay? It's okay, right!? [nodding bear picture]
So to get started, this time my recommended mood-lifting item is... "stationery"!☆ I wonder if everyone else also fusses over their stationery~?
Even if the study is boring, if your notebook and pen are cute, you'll be at least a little more excited, right? See, see~ Before you even notice it, you'll start to wa~nt to study.... well, it may seem too good to be true, but it's okay! 'Cause with this method, no matter how painful the study, you can change your mood in a flash!!!
Well then, let's quickly get on to the introduction of my favourite stationery [happy "yaaay" bear]
Right now, what I am most into... ta-dah, it's erasers~!!!
Eh? That's unexpected normal? Non, non! [finger wagging bear] They aren't just erasers, they're kneadable erasers!
These ones, because they are so colourful, it's super fun just looking at them! It's also fun to knead them like clay to make different shapes. Isn't it great~☆ I have them in 5 colours! I want to use them so much I end up looking for mistakes, even when there are none. But, these kneadable erasers have just one fault to them... actually, you can't erase with them at all. If you rub them, your notebook will just get blacker and blacker. It's like, instead of erasing, they stain (*sweat*) But, they are good! With their cuteness, they lift your mood. If they motivate you to study, then it's okay if even they don't erase perfectly.
* By the way, I gave these kneadable erasers to all the Heroes as a present. Dragon Kid chose the yellow one, and said "With this, I'll try my best to study hard too!"
And that's it, the important thing is to first take a look at your desk! If you do it like this, you'll be able to enjoyably overcome studying for tests, without the dull mood~☆
So everyone, study hard! If you find some good stationery, make sure to tell me, okay!?
Here is another column card translation. Though there are a couple of bits I couldn't read, I will fix them up as soon as I have a clearer scan! Which will hopefully be coming soon... Sky High's too
Yuri Petrov
(Excerpt from ???, but it's an interview by children)
Question 1 What sort of job is being a Judge, and being the administrator of Heroes?
Pleased to meet you. I am called Yuri Petrov. Although you ask of my occupation, it is likely there will be many children who cannot understand. *A Judge is a job in which you carry out the act of exercising one’s jurisdiction. And, the administrator of Heroes is a job exactly as it says, one administrates the Heroes. To speak more precisely, I receive requests for the Heroes to be dispatched, ascertain whether or not it is necessary to dispatch them, deal with the various problems that arise during the dispatch, and make various important decisions related to the Heroes. If I made a wrong judgement, or if the timing of my decision was late, the damage from incidents and disaster would quickly grow and the number of victims increase. Therefore, I believe it is truly an important role.
Question 2 I want to become an administrator of Heroes too, what should I do?
As it is a role granted only to members of the Judicial Office, please enter here to begin with. In order to do that, one must pass the bar examination and possess the character to be a Judge. And in order to do that, studying hard at school would be the shortest path, don’t you think?
Question 3 Are you friends with the Heroes?
I am not. Things such as the exchange of personal contact information are strictly prohibited in my position, so there is absolutely no associating in private.
Question 4 Who do you get along with?
There is no one I am close to. If I were to hold personal feelings, it might lead astray my split-second judgments.
Question 5 When you are working, is the most important thing (???) ?
What is needed for this work, is the ability to judge things calmly and the ability to make instantaneous decisions.
Question 6 Are there times when you struggle with your job?
That’s a difficult question. If I were to venture to give you something, I would say it would be that in order to prevent mistaken split-second judgments, I put plenty of syrup in my coffee. By doing this, my mental agility improves, and I feel as though I can make the correct judgments. It is scientifically proven that the intake of glucose [literally “grape sugar”] revitalises one’s (???). To speak of sugar, there are various types; however as an energy source for (???), there is none other than glucose. Incidentally, “grape sugar” does by no means take the form of a grape. *Occasionally there are people who mistake them, but the bacteria “staphylococcus” [literally “grape coccus”] when examined under a microscope appears round and forms grape-like clusters. There is no mistaking it.
Question 7 Please continue to work hard at your job.
That’s not a question, is it? Thank you. I will put my all into it. For the peace of all the citizens.
So, if you go see the film you get given a little card with a short written piece inside. Written by Nishida, they are styled as magazine articles written by each Hero. There are 2 to get each week, so unfortunately I will only get to see this one and BR's, but this was so adorable I am still happy anyway ;u;
There are no actual film spoilers in the contents of the article.
GOLDEN RYAN
(Excerpt from Monthly "CAMERA")
What is photography to me?
It is not something to take, but rather something that is taken. In other words, the subject is me.
In the case of the camera man, if he tries to shoot me, he will be caught by my charm and he will not let me leave the frame. As ever, I am a heartbreaker.
The way I am like this, people call "photogenic". As a man born under that star, there is little helping it. Therefore, I had thought that I would like to have photographs taken for my whole life. However, just recently a large shift suddenly began.
There was a time when by chance I returned to my parents' home. I came across the single lens reflex camera my father used in his pursuits, and casually tried clicking the shutter. The first I took was like that, a wooden chair in the garden. I was surprised. A simple, worn-down chair could, through my hands, be taken to become even woodier. It seems as though somehow I have been endowed with a special gift. Until this point, the one bearing the sins has perhaps not been me, but God. Because God did bestow two gifts.
Lately I have been taking my camera out with me, heading to various locations, and each time clicking the shutter at the nice views I would see there.
"Butterfly found in park", "Blue sky stretching out overhead", "Children holding hands returning from school", "Fickle-expressioned boys and girls"
All with perfect timing. The lack of a 0.01 second aim is likely because I am me.
Since I have come to take photographs, I have been trying to extract single ordinary scenes, to make a memory of them. As though it were a long film about my every day life. Something begins, and then approaches its climax. That would be just like a blockbuster.
When I am tired of that life, I take photos of my pet.
At my age, occasionally I need to be comforted too.
Slender outstretched legs. An edge accentuated bodyline, from waist to hip. To me, that is the best pet. But, had I sought too much comfort? When I notice my desk is flooded with photos of him, I don't how to react. I could describe in detail, but I think I will leave this one up to your imagination. With the full force of your imagination, I want you to form an image of my pet.
There are numerous reasons to keep it a secret, but the most important reason is that is if everything were known, it would become boring. That is what everyone says. And I do not want to be boring. Besides, a Hero about whom everything is known is uncool, it's better that a Hero has at least a little mystery to them.
In any case, those are the photos I have taken. I wonder if the media will soon come running, and they will be exhibited in an art gallery somewhere. Until that time, I will put the answer on hold. I want you to please enjoy fantasising about it as much as you can until then.

[Tsuri-Nyanko] Or Fishing Cat, or that one app with the Bearded Ojisan and Blond Prince (and there's like, a cat who fishes or something)
Ah, now I have an excuse to make my icon relevant!
I have done some translations for this game, which I will post shortly, just the initial scenes for the story of the Shell-ojisan and Lemon Prince so far.
I've done the translation a bit differently to how I usually would though... ;u; while initially playing through the game, I started to think about how it could be localised -- obviously, you couldn't leave in things like name suffixes and whatnot -- so for a challenge I decided to translate in that manner. Also, it was enormous amounts of fun thinking up how the characters could now refer to each other/names.

-- I have updated my Bunny post with some lines from the second new area, the Skating Rink.
-- I said I wouldn't be doing any translations for the Keith and Ivan areas due to an unfortunate lack of transcriptions, however I did tweet some lines/observations based on what I was able to work out myself as I played it the other night.
Please forgive the typos/any inaccuracies/the informal nature of the tweets. I collected them in a Togetter, if anyone would like to see, which can be found: HERE
