thinky and imperfect

WHOHOO it says it's been delivered! Unfortunately I'm sick and won't be back home until Saturday/Sunday so hopefully I'll be well and back home and ABLE TO OPEN/POST PICTURES!!

I'm sick; I have to work the next three days in a row (and Fri/Sat are going to be insane) AND I'm waiting up for job news (that will likely be bad). All first world problems.

preparing for the worst on Wednesday when i get the rejection. 

OK so I'm still on the west coast, did my interview yesterday. It went OK-ish (probably not good enough to get the job but I didn't break down in hysterics so GO ME!). We had to do a long math problem and I accidentally used the wrong number as one of my values (like, it said we have 10,000 apples and our competitor has 15,000 apples, and I used the 15,000 number saying it was our number). But, I noticed my mistake and added a post-script, so at least I caught it. I also hope I did the math correctly/well laid out. They said the numbers themselves don't matter as much as how we got there... so we'll see. Then we had some presentations--I thought I did fine but was sooo nervous and stumbled during my presentation-said a lot of ums and sorrys. Then the next presentation--we had one guy totally dominate the group discussion--I don't think he'll get an offer, he was kind of obnoxious. Another girl in the group did way better than me, but I hope I did enough for my team. So, all in all I tried my best. I did get to see my roomie again, YAY! We're meeting up for bfast this morning and them I'm flying back home. I'lll find out about the job in a week or so.  

Obsessives - Soda Pop; SOOO COOL! I'd die to try some of that Curiosity Cola

I've already ordered a surprise speciality food item from CANADA (oh Canada!) and got a pair of sushi socks (my giftee loves Japan and neon colors), I'm still struggling for what else to get my giftee. I could go with some locally-made (to me) dark chocolate, but then it's a very food-heavy gift. Hmmm.. She's also a cat lover so I'm not sure what else....

...omg. I found a complete textbook online that's basically BUSINESS 101. It's 700 pages long. I should probably read it. 

3) I plan to get drunk with the other candidates afterwards! :D

almost fully recovered from Salmonella. one exam today, one tomorrow and then I'm FREE!
