i feel like im missing something in life for not being able to be obsessed over a fictional character or celebrity or anything i kinda envy people who can be so extremely obsessed with something that they dedicate their whole life for it like this artist on twitter who’s been drawing solid snake and resident evil fanart for 12 years or this lady on instagram who decorated her entire house with kamen rider merch because she’s been a huge fan since teenager.
i can’t seem to outsource passion or fixation on something that wasn’t born from me. i have been living for my story and oc since childhood, trager and aliris are evolving with me i created them in middle school and back then aliris name was lisa then changed to sabrina her story also changed and evolved but her design remains consistent, same with trager, and their story evolved from medieval fantasy to sci-fi lmao. my oc grew up with me and im attached so hard to them and their lore that im unable to care about everything else like solid snake or kamen rider because they were not born from me. i just find the obsession and fixation over something that you didn’t create might be more intense and satisfying because they are already an established and solid fiction that you cannot predict and always full of surprises not to mention you share it with millions of other people who also love it hence giving you a sense of belonging because you shared that love with millions other like minded people, meanwhile my fixation on my oc and worldbuilding is more quiet and kinda lonely because i already know everything about it there will be no surprises there will be no new character arcs that will make me feral and losing sleep, im alone in it nobody else live for it i have no community and i have no merch to buy and collect it’s really the kind of fixation that i can’t even bring outside to the world because nobody knows what that even is, and even if i do bring it to the world i’d feel reluctant because i fear criticism… I FEAR IT A LOT. it is the lonelier kind of fixation and too fragile to share especially when i don’t even know where i’m supposed to go with it there’s no structure, there’s no plot and there no plan of how it might evolve next. they just exist within me and the only purpose of its existence is to leverage my identity and to anchor me. it gets to be everything i want it to be, it gets to be fun, it gets to be boring, it gets to be cringe, there’s no rules, no canons, no criticism or arguments, it is just safely exist as my refuge from the outside world but damn it’s lonely as hell
Al is a 17 year old girl with amnesia currently on the run because she was accused of murdering a man in a motel so the police has been searching for her. she stumbles upon a building in the middle of a woods during her escape and breaking in through a broken window to get inside and find safety. the building seems empty so she eases herself out and rests until she hears footsteps from the outside, she hid inside a locker but her breathing and trembling got her caught and beaten by someone who thought of her as a thief intruding his house, that man is trager, a 24 year old man and the owner of the building. al passed out from being hit. trager didn’t know she’s just a girl covered in a hoodie so he kinda felt bad for hitting her so hard to the point of passing out cold. he rest her on a couch and waited for her to gain consciousness. once she’s awake trager interrogated her and her intentions of intruding. al said she’s being chased and trying to find safety. when trager asked who’s chasing her she said “a demon”. she also doesn’t remember anything other than her name “aliris”, but call herself “al”. trager confused by her strange behavior but he didn’t want to bother probing further and assumed she’s just one of those crazy cult member. he asked al to leave but al begged to stay just for one night. trager agreed to let her stay in the attic, and asked her to leave as soon as possible tomorrow.
in the next morning al found trager readying his truck outside. he asked her to hop on and mention that he’s going to take her back to the town and let her loose there. al resisted and begged that she’s not safe there because there where the “demon” at. trager’s getting pissed and dragged her into the truck anyway. he asked her if she remembered any place she’s been to? and al mentioned Mill Isle, trager recognized that place it’s a coastal little town in the east so he drove there assuming it’s the place she came from. as they entered the town al crouched down trying to hide herself in the truck. trager noticed too many police officers around and one building blocked by police line. an officer stopped him and asked him to turn around since the block currently off limit for traffic. trager asked what happened and the officer mentioned an incident happened in a motel a week ago where a man found mutilated in one of the room in the motel.
trager asked bunch of questions to the officer regarding the incident and whether or not the suspect had been identified. the officer mentioned nobody saw what happened in that room but someone witnessed a girl soaked in blood wandering alone in the town outskirts and the police been trying to find her for interrogation. trager didn’t mention anything about al and when the officer asked about his identity he introduced himself probably as an EEU officer (Exogen Expedition Unit), and introduced al as his sister to avoid the police suspecting her. trager asked for the officer’s permission to gain permission into the motel to investigate if it could be another case of “contaminant” attack (contaminant is a name used for creatures that get mutated into violent beast due to exogen poisoning). Before going into the motel trager asked al if she remembered anything about the motel. al lied and said she doesn’t know anything about the motel which angered trager, he threatened her that he will send her to “the lab” if she’s not telling the truth. al confused and asked what the lab is which trager said it’s a place where people like her being tortured for experiment. al still not sure what it means but she agree to tell the truth. she recognized the place but in her memory it wasn’t a building, it was a ship. she was in a room trying to hide from a man, the captain, who’s been looking for her because she’s been “bad” and need to be punished. she remembered the captain strangled her and losing consciousness but when she wakes up she saw unclear silhouette of a demon and a man on the floor with his flesh shreded and strangely that man was not the captain and somehow she’s in a motel instead of on a ship. she was scared and flee, she couldn’t get the image of the demon out of her head. Trager went inside the motel and checked out the crime scene, the dead body is no longer there but the police officer is cooperative enough to show him the photographs of the victim when he was found and just as al said the man is butchered, innards scattered on the floor and head detached from his body, whatever that is attacking him is not just a regular contaminant since contaminants often bite and devour their victims instead of eviscerating them and the autopsy results reported no signs of bait or maim, the cut are clean almost in surgical precision akin to be dissected with a giant knife which no man clearly capable to do. trager requested for the report to be forwarded to EEU to be investigated accordingly since this is no longer a regular homicide for the police to handle. when trager get back to the truck he found al has been escaping.
Trager searching out for al and trying to track her down until the sun down until he met a farmer who told him that he saw a girl running towards the river in which trager proceed to go, on the way towards the river the farmer warned trager to be careful as there are many wolf traps around the woods and he should watch his steps. but that information just made trager realize where al might be. he found al passed out with her legs bleeding caught in a wolf traps, he removed the wolf trap from her legs and witnesses strange thing happened, her fully impaled legs healed instantly with no sign of wounds remain and the blood soaked her pants but completely absent from her skin. he tried to wake her up be she’s not budging akin to being in a deep sleep instead of being unconscious. he carried her to the truck and drive back to his home. al wake up in a white sterile room with bright fluorescent lights, machineries and computers and soon she realized that she’s been placed inside a glass tube. al feeling disoriented and thinking she might be awaken in different world this time, but suddenly she heard a voice from the speaker inside that glass tube “don’t panic”. al searching for the source of the voice and frantically screaming to be let out, the speaker telling her “if you refuse to cooperate it’s gonna get unpleasant”. suddenly bunch of weird contraptions grabbing her arms and legs and pinned her to the glass wall, followed by bluish fumes emitted from the ceiling and filled the glass tube, al passed out in instant. at the control room trager observed several screens that seemingly to show strange movements of data, the data indicating that al is extremely immune to exogen, normally when someone gets exposed to concentrated exogen they will immediately showing signs of delirium, intense burning on skin and bleeding eyes and to the extreme degree exploding internal organs and after 1 hour of exogen exposure they will start growing foreign grotesque appendages often observed in the contaminants when they are transformed, but none of it happens to al despite being in the tube for 3 hours now with exogen exposure reaching 100% she just fell unconscious without showing any signs of transformation or reaction from exogen exposure.
Target then conduct biology assessment on al and discovered that inside her body there’s huge concentrations of different type of exogen that never seen before, in her bloodstream, in her cells, it’s basically made out of that substance that almost impossible for human to have. but strangely when he stopped the exogen exposure the strange substance in al’s body also gradually lowered and eventually completely disappeared. then he did another test by cutting a bit of her skin with contraption knife, and that would raises the exogen level in her body slightly to heal it.
Trager generated a report about this newfound anomaly and plan to send it to EEU, but after a second thought he decided to withhold the report until he can get more data and information about her power. as for now nothing much can be observed from al in her unconscious state, so he took her out from the glass tube and carry her up to the elevator and ascend 800 meter up to the house. he placed her on a bed in a cozy room inside his house and let her stays there until she wakes up.
Al woke up after 20 hours being unconscious. she doesn’t recognize the place where she’s currently at but when she look outside the window she realizes that she’s back at the house she broke in previously, she’s curious as to why she’s sleeping peacefully on a comfy bed like this, then streams of memories flooding her mind. she remembers she went to a town with the man who own the house then ran away and got injured, she’s hazily remembered the event at the glass tube and thinking of it as a a bad dream. she assume she was passing out from injury at the woods and got carried back to the house by whoever found her. she left the room and went downstairs, the house looks empty again she’s trying to find trager, she saw his truck outside but he’s nowhere to be found. she decided to explore the house, it looks like an old house that looks small on the outside but oddly spacious in the inside, she went to the backyard and found a staircase that leads to the different part of the building, she entered a door that seems unlocked and found a room that looks like an old abandoned clinic with lots of medicine and medical equipment around, the stairs in that room leads to a second floor with bunch of rooms that looks like a patient rooms, this particular section of the building reminds her of a hospital. in one or the patient’s room she found a torn out medical paper with the header says “Trager’s Clinic”.
From the hospital-like building al found an entrance that linked the main house to the clinic building, as she’s back at the main house she found herself inside a library-like room with bunch of old books and old tools. as she’s focused on browsing the books she heard a voice from behind. “this place is not a museum you can just explore around”, she saw trager standing by the door with a paper bag on his hand. “you must be very hungry, when was the last time you eat?” he passed the paper back to al. “eat! we have somewhere to go soon”. trager walks away but al called out to him, “wait! who are you? you never told me who you are or your name”. Trager stopped on his track to face her. “you can call me venstream”. al subtly trying to repeat his name then asking him
“why did you bring me back here? didn’t you said you want me to leave this place?”,
“i changed my mind”.
“why?”
“you don’t have to know. besides, aren’t you in a grave need of shelter? you don’t remember where you from or your family you have nowhere to to, besides the police been looking for you”.
al zoned out for a bit thinking about the situation she’s currently in without knowing for sure what actually happening.
“the man in that motel, do you know him or remember what happened?”.
al stared at him looking perturbed, “no, i don’t know him. i remembered being attacked and when i wake up…..” al stopped her words. In an instant a flash of fragmenting memories rushes inside her mind. in her mind she saw bunch of children being chained and enslaved, a violent bloodshed, and a girl who’s calling out for her while she gets assaulted by a man, and lastly an image of her being thrown at the sea from a shit and drown far into the depth of the ocean when everythin dark and cold. after this sudden flashing memories a tears streaming down her face without her realizing.
“nevermind. don’t forget to eat your lunch”, trager left the room. Al devoured her lunch like a starving cat, after she’s done she headed outside and saw trager waiting for her with a bunch of equipments on his back.
“ready to go?”, trager handed her a small device
“what is this?”
“an ultrasound radar. make sure you don’t lose it”
al stares blankly at the peculiar device that she just involuntarily has to hold.
“where are we going?”
“we’re going for a hunting”
“hunting a deer?”
“no. we’re hunting the demons, now just be quiet and watch for the radar signs. it it vibrates check the monitor and inform me. but keep it mind to keep your eyes peeled for your surroundings. you can’t rely on that tool alone”.
They’ve walked deep into the woods, al looks visibly exhausted but trying to keep herself focused. she’s thirsty and her legs are about to give in.
“it’s been hours and there’s nothing happening with the radar. why are you even bringing me here?”
trager stopped on his track and state at her looking a bit annoyed. “i agreed to refuged you but that doesn’t mean you can be a freeloader. make yourself useful!”.
“you’re a liar. i know you’re taking me to the lab that you mentioned. or maybe hand me over to the police to get your bounty?”.
trager stared at her blankly “if you won’t be””stay quiet i will use you as a bait to lure these beasts”.
they continued charting the woods further and deeper, the sky is getting dark and al looking visibly drought.
“we will set a trap here” trager put his backpack down and pulled out a rope and hook. he attached somekind of a bottle on the rope and hook it between the trees. next he took nighvision goggles for him and al then he take out a device that looks like a sniper rifle.
al stared at the weapon in confusion
“can you actually kill them with firearm?”
“of course not. but this is not a firearm”
“then what is it?”
suddenly they heard a noises approaching. trager dunked al next to him instructing her to stay quiet, he readied his gun. a 9ft tall contaminated grizzly bear standing on 2 legs with 3 arms and 2 heads approaching the trap in the dark wood and when the creature were right below the hanging bottle it leashed out a loud agonic outcry, it prancing uncontrollably and behaving very aggressive destroying the surrounding trees. Trager launched the rifle toward the head of the creature which gave away their presence the creature charging at them and locking its sight on al, trager shot the bottle with regular gun before the creature reaches al. the broken bottle activates the chip on the creature’s head and subdues it. a few moments later big military vehicles arrived on the site to secure the creature. trager and al exited the woods and arrived at the town outskirts. they visited a bar to rest for a while. at the bar, the owner greeted trager.
“hells bells, where have you been i thought you’re long dead already boy!”, a man looks like in his 60s shouted at trager in friendly manner, attracting the customers attention to him and al.
“shut the hell up geezer do you still think you will outlive me?”. trager walked towards the geezer while al reluctantly following him from behind.
“what brings you here venstream?”
“i just happen to be nearby and stopping by. also i might need to borrow a truck to go back to the clinic.”
“the trucks are out but one will return by tomorrow morning. you can stay here for the night”
“not a bad idea”
while trager chatting with the geezer al took a liberty looking around the bar, she found a deck of card on a table and play around with it”.
“is that girl with you?” the old geezer pointed at al sitting at the corner buzzing shuffling the deck of cards”.
“yeah, get her a plate of stew would you. an a scotch for me”.
“is she like your new girlfriend or something?”.
“she’s my new apprentice”.
“oh i didn’t know you still run your father’s clinic?”.
“i don’t”.
trager approached al on the table and pull a chair for himself then pull out a cigarette from his jacket and smoke one.
“we will stay here for the night and leave first thing in the morning”.
al ignored him and focused on the cards.
“do you know how to play?” al asked and hand the cards to trager.
“do you wanna challenge me?”
“no. can you teach me?”
trager looks at him in silence “sure”
trager and al spent the night playing card game.
The next morning trager and al drive back to the house. when they arrived al take her own route to enter the house from the backyard and staring at the clinic building. trager saw her from the window and decided to approach her.
“listen, some area of this building are off limits for you. so don’t get curious and stay within the main house perimeter. you understand?”.
“i went inside this building yesterday the door was unlocked”.
trager sighed deeply in frustration but he didn’t discouraged al to pry further about the oddity if that house.
“i heard that you’re running a clinic. are you a doctor or something ?”.
“yeah i was, 7 or 6 years ago”.
“aren’t you seems too young to be a doctor 7 years ago”.
“i was 16 when i officially practiced as a doctor”.
“and now you’re hunting monsters?”.
trager looks visibly annoyed by her inquiry.
“you know what, maybe i should let you occupy the clinic. you’ll have everything you need in there, books, tools, it will get you preoccupied instead of just staying inside the main house”. hearing that made al’s eyes looks slightly glimmer with joy, something about the clinic intrigued her and she can’t wait to see more of it.
“just because i let you stay in this house doesn’t make me your guardian. you look after yourself and don’t rely on me, besides you will rarely see me in this house anyway so you should start to learn to be independent. there’s a mailbox that you can use to get stuff you need” trager handed a piece of brown card to al.
“what is this?”
“use it to get the stuff you need. food, clothes, cash, whatever. there’s a computer inside the library that you can use the card on”
al put the card in her pocket.
“one more thing, do not ever let anyone inside the house, lock the doors and don’t show yourself if someone came to visit this place. they’re not bad people and they’re allowed access to this place but it’s better if you don’t get in their way.”.

The urge to tell stories but have no good skill in writing 😮💨
Aliris and Trager were on their way home, returning from a rural mountain trip. Around 1 pm in a broad daylight, they stopped at an old gas station to refuel. It stood alone in the middle of a desert-like prairie, no nearby buildings, no passing cars, just dry wind brushing against the earth.
While Trager remained outside to pump gas, Aliris stepped into the store to use the bathroom. An automated chime greeted her as the door opened:
“Welcome!”
The store was empty. That didn’t seem unusual for a place that looked forgotten, the kind of station that rarely saw visitors. A dusty clock above the counter had stopped at exactly 00:00.
She called out for the storekeeper. No response.
The layout didn’t suggest a self-checkout. It felt too old for that. She glanced out the window. Trager was no longer in sight. Probably already back in the car, she thought.
She made her way toward the bathroom. The light inside was on, but the door was locked. She decided to return to the counter, she found someone there now, a middle-aged man, standing where no one had been moments ago. He was counting a stack of bills with slow, mechanical precision. She didn’t hear the chime go off so the man must not be from outside.
She greeted him. He didn’t look up, completely ignoring her presence.
She asked about the bathroom. Still no response.
There was a set of keys on the counter placed neatly just within reach, might be useful to open the bathroom door. She asked for permission to use it but no reaction from the shopkeeper as usual. She hesitated but decided to take it anyway, mumbling something about borrowing it while the shopkeeper continued counting.
She returned to the bathroom ready to unlock it with the keys she had in her hand but this time the door was already open.
She washed her hands slowly with silence pressed against her ears. When she stepped back into the store, the counter was empty again.
The shopkeeper was gone.
She walked back to the car and told Trager about the oddity she just experienced in the store, which Trager then replied:
“What store?”
She turned her head toward the window. The lot was empty, flat, colorless, dotted with dry bushes and cracked soil.
No sign of a building. No signs of anything at all.
