anyone can tell aera is tired by the way sheâs yawning as she quite literally stumbles into a waiting taxi. a night of mingling with pretentious guests has drained her energy, and sheâs looking forward to sleeping for the next twelve hoursâ or however many hours is needed to fully recover from the fake conversations and compliments sheâs been forced to listen to. quickly retrieving her phone from her bag, aera leans across the seat to close the car door when she notices an all too familiar figure making their way towards the vehicle; a person she absolutely despises for reasons sheâd rather not think about in her current state. âno, no, no,â she hisses, tightly gripping the door handle as she prepares to shut him out, âdonât even think about getting into my taxi, hoon. you and your ego canât fit in here, so go find another one.â a rude and rather selfish demand when the weather outside is below freezing, but what a surprise, no shits are given.
as unnaturally as it seems, hoon was definitely not in the mood. tired, annoyed doesnât cut it. deciding not to take his car today was a big mistake. approaching the taxi, and despite the tinted windows, he notices a figure leaning on the door. he sighed as he looked around for any more empty taxis but surprise, there were none. rounding the car to the empty side, he entered hastily from the freezing weather outside. hoon looked at the other occupant of the taxi, before letting out yet another big sigh. âitâs you, what a pleasant surprise.â brushing his hair back and loosening his tie, he continued. âdonât start, thereâs room for both of us.â hoon was all too aware of the otherâs strange rage against him, and honestly, this was all but pleasant. he wouldâve brushed it off if it was any other day, but itâs wasnât. heâs tired as fuck and would love nothing but a drink to loosen himself up, but instead heâs stuck with someone was has claimed herself as his number one hater for god knows reason.
