Mars square Jupiter:

This aspect indicates you need to learn how to use your abundant physical and intellectual attributes efficiently. You will spend large amounts of resources on useless and unproductive ideas or enterprises only to get lost in the chaos. Admiring and imitating those in authority doesn’t mean you’re qualified for the top, and if you fake success any inadequacies will eventually be exposed. Learning is only possible after making many mistakes. The square is usually the most difficult aspect in anyone’s natal chart. This can be a very bad catalyst when aligning with other planets. Harsh aspects from Uranus or Saturn will prove devastating. House placement will be the key indicator of where your most troubles are. Mars shows where you’re overly aggressive, and Jupiter will indicate where you’re the most arrogant. Athletics and competition will be an important release of energy. The determined competitor in you makes it difficult to accept defeat graciously. You must always be victorious and Pluto can cause stooping to low levels when getting there. Your general disregard for safety and authority indicates either catastrophic injuries, jail time, or both. Any recklessness must find a proper outlet or psychological breakdowns begin. When the physical energies aren’t released you unconsciously take out your anger towards others. Exercise is obviously the best option, but so are house chores requiring hard labor. Use your creative abilities and get into masonry and stonework.

Jupiter square ascendant:

This is one of only the few squares which doesn’t produce negative energy. Jupiter is flamboyant, optimistic, and philosophic in everything it does. The biggest hang up is your inability to integrate these qualities into your personality. You have big ideas for success which are many times too extravagant to complete. You act passionately towards them and become sour when they don’t pan out. You’re full of fire and spirit at first, but you quickly burn out if others don’t catch on right away. Not wanting to act in moderation you can take anything and everything too far. Sometimes this indicates your parents are able to help you along, giving you more opportunities than most. Despite any opportunities you were denied, you still rise to greatness because of your undying spirit and courage. Many of your failures will come from your arrogant attitude. You can over estimate your capabilities and resources, not realizing it until it is too far down the road. Financial losses due to gambling losses and poor business speculations can be possible. Make sure to read all the fine print when entering into a contract. Weight issues are always involved with Jupiter. If you’re fat and out of shape stop drinking so much sugar and get out walking three times a week.

Mercury trine Saturn:

Your success is limitless because you understand how to use your resources in an organized and efficient manner. Gathering all available knowledge and information, you don’t form a solid opinion until you can be reasonably educated. Once you do become educated your beliefs are impossible to sway. Solving problems is easy because you see the multiple options available. You have a conservative mentality and can get to the finishing point in the most direct process. Leadership is natural, and you go about your own business expecting your associates to follow. Whether they choose to is not your responsibility, as you don’t need to baby sit professionals. You still just go about your own things like nothing happened despite their decision. Education is on the list of high priorities and you understand this is an ever advancing world and you will need to keep up. You will excel in careers which require exact precisions and measurements. Being spot on is important to you. Aligning your responsibilities with your cognitive thinking will come more naturally than most. This isn‘t a destructive aspect and generally produces positive characteristics. When influenced properly elsewhere you may mature and develop responsibility earlier than your peers. If your friends are older than you it’s because you prefer their maturity over others your own age.

Moon sextile Jupiter:

This is one of the most wonderful aspects possible. At its best it relieves many of the conflicts produced by harsher planetary alignments. Jupiter is known as the greater benefic which positively expands everything it touches. A sextile is arguably the best relationship there is and this counter balances your other issues. The basic nature of this contact is to increase your feelings of emotion. You experience love, joy, and happiness on a grander stage than the rest of us. Conversely, you also feel rage, hate, or anger more than others as well. The biggest issue you have is over emotionalizing a situation where rational thinking is needed. Despite all the positive effects this is definitely not a grounding alignment. Jupiter is enhancing your emotional complexity and sometimes you don’t embrace the feelings. In fact it stimulates dreaminess, and if Venus is involved you’re a total space case who constantly falls in love. If you can remain inspired by vivid dreams you can tap into the vast resources of your creative potential. Art, music, or theater will be great outlets for your creative expression. Careers in medicine or social work will prove most fulfilling. You’re also going to retain weight as you get older. Diet will be very important in old age.

Mercury sextile Jupiter: 

Any aspect involving Jupiter is positive and this is one of the best. You’re gifted with intelligence and learning ability, but because Mercury is so scatterbrained it’s difficult to realize your potential. In turn, you often short change yourself by thinking you’re not as capable as others. These spiraling consequences cause you to feel oppressed and underachieving. As you mature and realize your abilities these feelings of inadequacy will eventually dissolve away. You make sure to get the facts before you make a decision and stay as informed as you can. Other than arrogance about your intelligence there isn’t much that can go wrong with this alignment. You have excellent logic and reasoning ability, but once again the constant analysis of Mercury gets in your way. Don’t overthink yourself and the shortcomings will be limited. Travel will open your eyes and teach you many things about life. Education through travel will prove more useful than bookwork. Experiencing other cultures broadens your horizons by allowing you to see outside your box. Your mind is philosophically inclined to the greater forces of the universe and religion or spirituality needs to be an important role in your life.

This is a highly charged aspect which requires calming influences from elsewhere. As your spiritual battery, the Sun energizes you in a way that makes everything feel like a challenge. You’re highly competitive and must always assert your dominance. Quite often you offend others without even knowing it. For some reason your actions are never convincingly sincere, even when you act with the best of intentions. The reason being, many times you come on too strong and others question your motives. Despite all your flattering words people always suspect your true inclination. You usually possess lots of energy, but very little direction. It’s difficult for you to not get what you want, and you only compromise when all the other alternatives have been exhausted. Mercury quincunx ascendant:

This is a somewhat bad aspect which usually adds stress and tensions into your life with migraines and anxiety problems. Mercury controls intellect and the central nervous system and this isn’t a great starting point. It’s difficult to grasp concepts quickly and even when you do you don’t know where to direct your knowledge. By no means is this considered a chart wrecker and other the physical ailments, there isn’t too much negativity. Granted if Mercury is in poor condition relating to the other planets, this doesn’t help alleviate the issue. This particular aspect indicates you try understanding everything about those you associate with and focus on useless facts. When you do face a challenging confrontation you tend to give others the benefit of the doubt and usually submit. Verbal arguments are best avoided, because once you get carried away things get really bad, really fast. Although you give people the benefit of the doubt too often you’re still aware of their lacking integrity and character. Your evaluations and conclusions about people are generally spot on, and you’re fooled only once in a while and for a short time. As you worry over matters in which you have no control, if someone ever tries to talk about your shortcomings you change the topic quickly. This also gives you an overly aggressive way in which you communicate to others. When offended, you’re quick to confront someone verbally, and a tongue lashing from you can be quite brutal. As you grow and mature you have to realize that your instant responses don’t always produce the desired effects. Your tongue is a powerful weapon and you will have to use yours wisely.

Venus opposite Jupiter

No aspect between Venus and Jupiter can be considered bad, but of the possibilities the opposition is one of the worst. Although there are negativities to the opposition, they’re mostly because you’ve spent too much time and money on fun. Drinking and living the high life causes your resources to dwindle, and is the main source of your financial woes. Psychologically this opposition causes you to constantly second guess your final decisions, and frequently contemplate what could have been. Part of the problem is that Jupiter’s expectations are always higher than accomplishable and Venus places this philosophy into your relationships. This aspect most definitely doesn’t give you a back bone, and quite often it indicates you become completely dependent on your partner. You make concessions to others thinking their admiration will be gained from it. When influenced positively this makes your artistic ability extremely profound. Nothing appreciates the finer arts more than Venus and Jupiter is a close number two. That is why you spend all your money on possessions.

Moon square Neptune:

The Moon squaring off with Neptune is one of the easier squares to handle. The biggest downfall is it makes you an overly sensitive sissy and very gullible. You’re dreamy and imaginative, getting lost in your own fantasies frequently. Many times you have trouble deciphering what is the truth and what is false. An overly developed imagination is going to cause you to adjust reality into what you want to be true. The main problem is you’re capable of creating a fictitious environment where you can retreat when in distress. Early in your childhood your parents didn’t condition you for the competition of the outside world. Because of the lack of faith in yourself the fear of competition causes you to cower away from those obviously more dominant. Your jaded view of people allows them to take advantage of your generosity. Be careful not to make close alliances with shady individuals, this will always prove to be extremely unfortunate. This is one of the aspects that is easily influenced by other planets. Because its fluctuations are extreme, negative relationships are intensified and much more emotionally charged. Other planets are definitely going to influence this, and they had better be trines or sextiles. Oppositions or squares will cause you to carelessly float through life, without the ability to recognize your responsibilities.

Sun trine Mars:

A trine between the Sun and Mars instills you with self-confidence and leadership abilities. It also indicates you have more ethical intentions when you take on a project. You have the drive and desire to finish what you set out to accomplish and very rarely fail. Sometimes your determination and courageousness causes you to overlook whatever risks are in the way and damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead. Your over confidence leads to failure because you’re so eager to see the project complete. It’s easy to establish your goals and figure out the best possible way to accomplish them. No single aspect indicates a wonderful life, but this is a considerably good start simply because Mars isn’t mad. Strength and competitive spirit are also enhanced by this aspect. Part of your success is you can physically wear out your competitor. This isn’t an artsy fartsy type aspect. It won’t give you any imagination or creativity, but it does provide the energy needed to finish your project. The Moon, Venus, and Neptune can show you where to direct your artistic inspiration. Children are no problem for you because you accept them at their own development level. Unless they get mouthy, then you have no problem giving them a smack.

A conjunction between the Moon and Mercury bestows you with a sympathetic, good hearted nature. There are only a handful of what I call “teddy bear” alignments, and this is one. Because of your natural compassion you attract many friends seeking advice or a shoulder to cry on. You have an unconscious need to communicate issues and express your emotions freely. Consider child psychology or therapy as a career. Also try avoiding casual gossip where you reveal more than you care to, as this is how rumors start. Sometimes you forget the walls have ears and little birdies talk around a bar counter. Alcohol should be consumed in moderation as it can turn you into a blundering cry baby clinging on to the arm of your comrades. Other times you’re going to be an emotional tornado, destroying everything in your path. As with every Moon alignment this affects the relationship with your mother. A conjunction between Jupiter and Uranus doesn’t occur very often and they usually indicate high expectations about yourself and the future. The spiritual philosophies of Jupiter make religion or higher forms of consciousness a very important factor in your life. Many secrets of the universe are locked away in your subconscious and they reveal themselves as need be. You’re basically a spiritual giant. You possess keen insight when developing your talents and how to use them efficiently. Jupiter never believes in failure, only in minor hiccups along the way. Obstacles are met with a reliance on the greater forces guiding you along. You respect knowledge and pay close attention to those you feel are more educated and intelligent.  Any conjunction with Uranus is going to produce some form of difficulties. You may have psychological disorders, high anxiety, or severe drug addiction. Jupiter expands everything it touches, and Uranus is just flipping crazy. With this planetary combination you may be a ticking time bomb, just waiting to explode on an unexpected victim. Normal religious concepts are generally of no interest to you. You have strong beliefs about the universe and the afterlife which require massive amounts of proof before you change your mind. Your progressive thinking causes you to feel there is always room for advancement and everything must evolve in order to survive. Pluto square ascendant: 

Because it’s the most distant of the planets, the generational effect of Pluto is only expressed through a close alignment with your ascendant. This aspect shows you feel destined to have a powerful influence on the lives of everyone you contact. You think you can change the lives of others and overly seek opportunities to do so. Basically you’re an obsessive control freak. The square is considered the most difficult aspect in astrology, and your ascendant is a very sensitive point, so expect some problems. This aspect causes extreme rifts with authority figures and anyone trying to control you. Whether you admit it or not, you’re an egomaniac. You consume resources which aren’t yours then becoming hostile when told no. If your parents had complete control over you this will have an extremely negative effect. You can show bad judgments when making decisions because you are convinced that no one should question what you do, even if your error is quite obvious. You need to learn to respect other people’s boundaries, even if you feel entitled to intervene. Once you learn how to make good judgments, achievements are boundless. You will probably have trouble in personal relationships because your demands are sometimes oppressive. Your lust for power and recognition seeps into all affairs, making compromise nearly impossible.

Mars square Uranus: 

This is one of the most volatile aspects two planets can form. The square between Mars and Uranus gives you an irrepressible desire to be completely free. Without hesitation or restraint, you project your forceful nature into your environment and onto your peers. No one can tell you what to do, how to do it, or pretty much anything else either. You never learn until you make the mistake for yourself, and it’s difficult to listen to those wiser than you. As you mature into your older years you realize the folly of those bullheaded ways. Anxiousness, nervousness, and paranoia can run through your head and cause severe problems in your day to day affairs. The aggressive nature of Mars and the eccentric nature of Uranus are in direct conflict with each other. Both planets rebel instantaneously when not allowed to do what they choose. I believe this is one of the top five most difficult aspects to handle. You’re naturally rash and inconsistent in your decision making. Acting hastily causes not only emotional strife, but physical accidents as well. Because you’re moving so fast and not always thinking about what you’re working on can cause bruises, cuts, and possibly minor burns. The only thing holding you back is your complete disregard of safety and rules imposed by others. Learn to cooperate and you will go far.  Remember, the more you resist the more you get tazed or pepper sprayed.

Sun quincunx Ascendant:

The biggest problem caused by this aspect is your inability to integrate your spirit into your personality. Negativities are felt because the quincunx represents the stressful energies between the free flowing trine, and the problematic attraction of the opposite. You never do anything unless you can go all in and give one hundred percent effort, but finding that niche just doesn’t seem to happen. Desperately seeking approval, you’re determined to be known for your accomplishments throughout the community. If you’re forced to work behind the scenes you eventually develop a secret desire for the spotlight. As you realize what you do well and what you do not, you eventually lose interest in anything which doesn’t come naturally. Dedication is never an issue once you do find where you belong. When the Sun aspects your ascendant it shows how easily the rest of the energy throughout the chart meshes with your personality. Unfortunately the quincunx is a dysfunctional flow between the two. You express yourself in ways that don’t conform to the norms of accepted society. Most of the time one of two things will happen. You’re either normal, and don’t know where you want to fit into the responsible side of society. Or, you accept your unique personality, and find your niche amongst fellow misfits and oddballs.
