The entire mountain shook in a chaotic rhythm with something outside the Arc being the source to the vibrations. Starscream was the first one out laughing as Devastator stomps around trying to crush the Autobot. “Haha! Kill! Kill! Kill!” Starscream shouts before getting kicked by Optimus.

Soundwave looks over seeing the Autobots getting closer to the entrance of Ark he looks back over to you seeing you holding the console buttons and leavers hanging onto them at each shake of the ark. His visor brightens for a second before scooping you up causing you to yelp as he places into his chassis. “Wait! What's happening?!” You ask in a panic as his chassis close. “Autobots are about to take the Ark .” He says before into the battle with Thundercarker.

You hear gunfire and shouts coming from outside, the more Soundwave moves the more you get tossed around inside trying your best to hang onto anything you can. This was all familiar to how you got into this mess in the first place.

Finally he is still to talk to the giant bot. “Devastator- cease your attack! You are ruining our sanctuary! My interior scans show this side of the mountain has considerably lass rock formation between us and the ark!” The Decepticons follow Devastator up the mountain as he punches a way into the ark letting the Decepticons in but Optimus rips off Devastator’s finger hitting thundercracker and Soundwave with it. The force was strong enough to knock you out of Soundwave’s chassis.

You scream falling out from a tall height grabbing onto a pipe sticking out to keep you from falling farther off. Soundwave notices you falling out and tries to reach for you but then jazz tackles him onto the ground causing a vibration making you lose your grip falling onto another pipe. “Soundwave!” You call out as you try to pull yourself up. Look over to the side gasping as you lock eyes with Carly being held hostage in Starscream's hand. Both of you are in shock to see each, she calls out to you just as Devastator falls off the mountain landing on the ground shaking the earth.Soundwave reaches for you again as you slip but landing onto his metal hand hitting your head against the metal. He carefully brings you up cradling you close to his chassis.

 Soundwave watches as the Decepticons retreat away from the ark holding Ravage in his arm and you in his hand about to join with the fleeing Decepticons.

“Soundwave wait. Please let us be done with this. Let us find a way to save our home… together.” Optimus says standing on top of the ark with him. Soundwave thinks for a moment looking down at Ravage then your unconscious body looking scuffed up and a bleeding nose. “She belongs with her kind, with her family, her brother needs her, soundwave please.” Optimus says as Soundwave looks back at him then goes in for a punch but Optimus stops. “Make no mistake, Soundwave… I desire peace. But I am no fool.” Optimus says before Thundercracker picks up Soundwave, taking them away with the Decepticons.

“Until next time Decepticon.”

“Yes! Yes! It’s Working!”

You kept your ears covered by your hands at the sound of scraping metal and the noise coming from the console. Looking over to the two robert as you kept your hands over your ears you were still able to hear their conversation through the defying sound. 

You watch as Soundwave picks up Ravage cradling them in his arms. “Skywarps sacrifice has provided tech to begin rebuilding our soldiers let us begin with-” You and flinch at the sight of Starscream kicking Ravage out of Soundwave”s arms. “What?! You want to start with the smallest one? Fat Chance!” Starscream shouts as he goes to drag another bot and it begins to rebuild.

A wave of sympathy hits looking at the disgraced Ravage laying on the floor as scraping metal stops and a new voice. “Starscream? I-” You uncovered your ears seeing the blue and white standing gathering his brought back life. “Welcome back Thundercracker!!!” Starscream shouts as Thundercracker looks in shock at what is now Skywarp, you slowly move away from the main counsel area away from the new bot that was almost standing over you. “Skywarp? What-? What evil autobot did this to you?” He says in disbelief. “Never mind him! He volunteered his life for the greater Decepticon good!” Starscream explains.

Your brows furrowed and lump forms at your throat  hearing starscream hide the brutal truth to his own comrade but seeing the choices he has so far has made it clear the type of bot he is and ruthless the Decepticons are.

“Starscream. Incoming report from Laserbeak. The autobots have found our source of energy.” Soundwave reports. “What!?? But that's ours!” “So let's go get it!!” two other bots rebuild as well, a small bot and a large bot . “I concur with my small friend.” The bigger bot says. “Frenzy! Reflector!”

“It is good to be back in focus, Starscream! Where is Meg-” “Stay focused on the enemy, Reflector! These filthy Autobots want to take what makes our pistons move freely! Let us finally wipe them out for good, and take this treasure trove of a planet for our vicious pleasure!”

As Starscream shouts at Reflector, you curl to the side of the console the feeling of unease will never leave you. In the corner of your eye you see Soundwave walking over to you carrying Ravage. You wrap your arms around your legs looking up at Soundwave as he places Ravage down onto the console next to you looking slightly slumped.

Your brows furrowed your arms tightening around your knees. “Your leaving again?” you ask as he looks over to you. “We are at war with the Autobots. War cannot rest nor wait. Stay with Ravage till I am back.” Soundwave states, you uncurl yourself looking up at him. “Wha-what happens if you don’t come back?” you quietly with the brutality of this war between them so far that idea plague you leaving your fate unknown if something were to happen to soundwave. 

You carefully place you hand into the metal of soundwave’s arm more so to reassure yourself of yours and his survival through this small concert like before Soundwave’s is able feel the faint sound of your heartbeat and feeling the soft rhythm through him, this small moment was stopped by the shout of Starscream gaining Soundwave’s attention. “Follow me! Time for a violence party!”

Soundwave looks back over to you moving his hand to gently rub the top of your head before back away. “I’ll return.” he says before leaving with Decepticons.

Though the time they were gone this time felt a lot shorter and quicker. When they came back lacking a couple of Decepticons and in a frantic state being quick to rebuild more bots as soon as they got back to the ship. You duck down feeling a strong and loud vibrations happening outside the ship, now the fight was brought back here.

Authors Note: Im sorry loves and dreamers i know its been a long while since i posted, ive been so overwhelm with college on passing and failing my classes that i havent movemention to write but after write this and a couple snippets of some other fics I've been working on has brought sense of joy back writing. Again I'll try to keep posting, love to all y'all who my cringy and bad fic's <3

You sat there on the console alone again, each time your left alone feels longer than the last. There not to do when they're gone, jumping down? Too high up and could break something and you don’t want to piss them off. What's scarier is that you have no idea what these aliens are doing whenever they leave but just piece together their conversations.

You look up hearing voices arguing and see Starscream and Soundwave carrying skywarp in his arms. “This marks the second time we have failed in our mission. If there is even a mission. No goals. No conquest. Only destruction. Is that all you have in your mind, Starscream?” Soundwave asks as they land into the ship. “This isn’t my fault! You can’t repair Teletraan 1!” Starscream shaked in anger.

“We need bodies! Look at all our brothers scattered here, useless! We need fixing!” Starscream points at all the broken parts scatter everywhere. “Look at my dents and laser burns! Fixing!” He says pointing to the marks on his face.

“As was said before: we do not have the materials needed for such repairs. They only exist-” skywarp looks over to soundwave growing uneasy as he talks. “Uh..guys..” he mutters as Soundwave and starscrean look over to him. “In cybertronian technology.”

“What are you doing? Brother?” Skywarp panics as Soundwave and Starscream walk over to him holding him down. “Stop, STOP! No-” You quickly cover your ears and close your eyes listening to Skywarp screaming agony. You pressed yourself against the counsel curled into yourself trying to hide yourself from the scene feeling hot years burn down your cheeks from this never ending nightmare.

“Haha! Victory!” Starscream shouts as he drags pieces of other Decepticons. “I am the Decepticon leader! Today! Tomorrow! Forever!” 

Your body shakes as you slowly lift your head looking over your shoulder seeing the other broken Decepticon getting rebuilt.

Sitting on the Cybertron desk, you wrap your arm in bandages and apply burn gel to the scorching skin on your arm. You look up when you hear the door open, seeing Soundwave walk into the room and the door closing behind. He walks over to the desk, going onto the monitors, looking still visibly tense.

You look up at him and carefully get up, walking over to him, and placing a small hand on his arm. "Is he… is Rumble gonna be.. Okay?" you ask quietly. he stops typing and moves his hand gently, wrapping it around you. "Rumble: in the CR chamber for a short time," he states. You nod and hug his hand, being careful with your freshly bandaged arms

"the hard drive you've brought back information has already been put into motion, we have control over the atomic weapon cargo and the intel you've gather now have the decepticons looking for the human who has that gun." he starts to explain to you petting your head. "you'll be sent off back to the human military and the depectron spy before the evacuation is put into motion" 

You look up at him, nodding, and put on your military jacket, zipping it up. "It's not uncommon for soldiers to go missing, so all should go unnoticed. Hopefully," you mumble. "Laser beak will escort you across the city."

"Whatever happens after this, I'm to serve and by your side, Soundwave, dispute everything," you say, looking up at him. Soundwave bends down to her level, now face-to-face. "Will still be connected and working with each other," he points to the device in his neck, and you nod, hesitating before pecking the side of his face covering, which makes his visor glow a bit brighter at the small affection shared between humans and being shared with him.

When you returned to the military camp and were assigned to a different unit, as your old one had been wiped out on the northern front, the military was now getting wind of the other notions and decided to take action. Their solution is to drop an atomic bomb on New York, so right now the military is doing an evacuation.

While this process was happening, a third party joined the battle, being the Autobots. They began to drive back the Decepticons, and across the river, the military watched in awe.

A helicopter flies into the air, carrying cargo and supplies, while heavy-duty trucks drive away with soldiers. In a line formation, the military leaves the New York area as quickly as possible. While you were somewhat near the head of the formation with your unit, you heard a mobilized weapon driving off to the side and people shouting.

You turn back, seeing the deception spy starting to transform, which makes the soldiers panic at his disguise. "Get these trucks out of here!" your superior shouts as he rushes to help take down the giant robot. You and your unit followed their orders as they proceeded with the evacuation process.

You look back one more time at the active warzone city before returning with your unit, knowing that both your nation and the world will be different after this.

(finally this is the end of the 'All Hail Megatron' ark. I'm having to reread these comics again which I love and can't wait to mtmte and lost light, and I'm also currently reading the sky bound comics for the other Soundwave fic.)

“I thought you said it would be fixed by now!”

You sit there, your knees to your chest, on the metal floor, having been placed down next to Soundwave. You watch as the giant robots get into a verbal fight with one another after getting back to the broken ship. You're at least glad it’s only an aggressive verbal fight, not the physical one that happened when you first got into this mess.

“We have all the energon we need, but the raw materials of this world are still lacking to bring cybertronian technology to one hundred percent,” Soundwave explains to Starscream as he cradles an offline ravage in his arms and keeps you beside him. You stay behind Soundwave, trying to stay out of Starscream's glare, like he was about to take out his frustration on you by squishing you.

“Aghhh! What about the metals from the plant? We took so much back with us!” Starscream shouts, causing you to flinch as you slowly back away from the giants. “They do not have the advanced compound structure needed to fix Teletraan 1. Other materials on this planet may come close, but we have not sought them. I need more time and information on the lifeforms and materials of this planet.” Soundwave glances over to you, though you couldn’t tell what his expression was, nor what he was probably thinking 

“Megatron would have–” Starscream slaps Soundwave before he could even finish his sentence, making you scream when the slap was so hard that he drops Ravage from his arms and almost falls over, crushing you, causing your arms to fly over your head. Still, he stops himself by landing on his forearm before he could crash into you.

“I told you! Do! Not! Say! His! Name!” you hear Starscream growl from where you're under Soundwave. You slowly look up, seeing how close he was to almost to crushing you, and how close his red glowing visitor was to you as he stares down at you. You watch as the giant blue and white robot slowly and carefully gets up, ever so careful not to crush you, as he turns to look at Starscream. Then an alert goes off, making Starscream even more frustrated. “What is it?”

“A priority message from Laserbeak. They found an Autobot.” Soundwave informs him as he gets up, picking you and Ravage up with him. You hang onto his hand tightly as he picks you off on the ground. “Skywarp!” Starscream calls out to the third robot, who is sipping on an energon container. “What now?” the con asks as he refuels. “I’m Busy! Deal with this!”

Skywarp puts down the energon container, grumbling under his breath before transforming and flying out of the broken spacecraft. Starscream snaps his hand in Soundwave's direction with an intense glare, twisting into disgust as you quiver in Soundwave’s hand. “Find some use for that thing before I turn into a stress ball,” Starscream growls before walking away to who knows where, as Soundwave uses his frame to block you from his view.

Soundwave walks back over to the console, setting down Ravage carefully on it, rubbing his frame, still carrying you in his hand. “Need to take some samples of the fluids in your system, there is metal dedication in your system that I notice in other lifeforms on this planet have as well.” You stiffen in his hand when he said that and turned to you.

You shake your head, now shaking in his hand, trying to climb out, seeing him take out some sort of syringe, and his grip slightly tightens around you to keep you from falling. Using a finger to tilt and hold your head in place as he exposes your neck. “Haven’t developed a sedative or numbing solution to your pain receptors yet, so this will hurt, but only just for a moment,” you yelp, feeling a string in your neck, but then it was quickly gone.

You felt a bit dizzy seeing him take the syringe with your blood in it and place it onto the console. He turns back to you, holding you with both hands. You feel one of his large mental fingers pressing pressure onto the spot where he drew your blood. “It will heal shortly.” He mutters. Despite the amount of violence and war you've seen him do so far, he was surprisingly gentle when he wanted to be.

Seeing that Starscream was in the area and Soundwave was in a calm state, you think, as he just held you in his hands, keeping you from bleeding out and passing out, maybe just maybe this was your best chance to ask some questions about him and the information you find yourself in.

“W… where are you from.. I’ve never seen or heard of anything like you before…” You mutter, glancing up at his red visor, which stares down at you when you talk; he just stares at you. “U-uh, you never explain that part, but t-that's fine I guess you don't really need to.” you mutter quickly, looking away when he doesn’t say or do anything, still afraid of him.

Soundwave pauses a moment, looking to the side before looking back down at you. He can feel, he knows it, that you are afraid and have been since their awakening. “I am from the planet Cybertron. It was a place of peace and prosperity before the war.” Soundwave starts causing you to turn back to look at him. “War? Is that why you and those guys started fighting?”

“Our species is one of greed and power that broke out into war with one another, led by our extremist faction on our planet,” Soundwave speaks as he set's you down onto the console. “The Decepticons, right?” you noted as he gave a nod of his head to you. 

“We have been fighting for centuries, among others, such as the Autobots. For two centuries, we have been fighting, leaving many astronomical casualties. Numbers had dwindled badly, leaving those needing to abandon our plant to scour the galaxy. It was during the Autobots’ Leader’s escape that our most Decepticons came to extinguish the sparks of the Autobots. During the fight, the ship lost control, and the last thing I remember was seeing your planet before entering the atmosphere.” 

You look at him as her arms curl around your knees, listening to the talk, and it sounds like these guys were definitely the bad guys, but maybe not from his perspective. You sit there for a moment, processing all this information about how heavy this war is, and now it's on your planet. Looking over at the giant alien as he stares at the online robot panther on the table. 

“I’m sorry about your friend. Were you like family?” You quietly glance up at him as he glances at you. “Family? The word is foreign to me.” He stated, "You think to yourself, thinking of explaining it." “Like a mom, dad, siblings? Uh, you know, like people you are close with and care about dearly?” You tried explaining.

Soundwaves visor brightens a bit when looking at you. “Family. That is a concept im familiar with and a feeling I know quite well.” he looks over to Ravege, running his hand over them as you watch him with a sense of pity growing for him. You hesitate, placing a hand on his metal arm as an attempt at comfort, and his visor brightens at the gesture. “Family.”

“Soundwave! Send backup! Now!”

You whimper, carefully rubbing the area around the fresh implant as you walk around the empty city. You sigh, adjusting your rifle as you walk, feeling almost unsettled by the quietness of the once-busy and nosey city. 

"Um, okay, so… where do I start looking…" you mutter, looking at the windows as you walk. "Organic life forms coming from a high-rise department store three blocks from you," a voice says in your ear, coming from ravage.

"Wha huh, that's new.." you mumble, surprised at the device in your neck. Looking around, continue walking now, actually having an idea of where you're headed. You turn into a jog as you get closer to the destination. As you approach the building, you feel the ground vibrating beneath your feet as heavy footsteps belonging to Soundwave echo through the area. 

You watch as he walks down the street, glancing at you before he turns onto the next block. But you go on alert again when you hear noises in the building. You adjusted your strap, clutching your rifle as you walked over to the stairwell. Quietly opening the door, you were able to hear voices echoing from somewhere, not from the upper floor. 

"…do I get closer.. or make my presence known… what should I…" you whisper, looking up at the stairwell. "Negative: keep your distance within listening." Soundwave's voice comes on, and you shiver a bit, not used to hearing voices in your ear now. "Okay…" you mumble as she carefully walks up one flight of stairs and hears the voices a bit more clearly. 

"So this gun we're supposed to help you find … this is going to kill all of the robots and save the world?" you held in your gasp, hoping Soundwave was listening in right now, which he always is. "Not all of them, one of them. Their leader. and it's not just a gun, it's a prototype." Your brow furrowed in concern as you continued to listen to the conversation until a fourth voice came in, which means most likely, there are surviving humans nearby also.

"I'll get us what you need, but I want in, especially if it means we might run into one of them in particular." You stiffen. "Red and black, mouthy punk, it's usually around the area you were talking about." You hold your breath, gripping your rifle tightly. "Any reason?" "Payback, nothing you need to know about." "Got it. So are we going to the world or what?"

"…rumble," you whisper worriedly. You leave the stairwell and out of the building into the alleyway. You let out a breath, slumping against the wall. This wasn't a personal thing, but it might be.

Hearing the survivors leaving the building, running next to a car to stay covered. "I hate this part… and those guys are way more experienced than me…" You waited a few moments before following after them, trying to keep your distance as much as possible. You watch as they go to the location of their weapons. Making sure you saw all of them go into the building, you left to go scout out the area to find that gun.

"fuck… I'm not cut out for this shit," you pant, trying to find where it was hidden, but hear multiple footsteps about to round the corner going into the nearest building, ducking behind a desk. Peeking out, you see two of them keeping a lookout as the other two disappear into another building. "…shit, stay hidden, stay hidden please," you whisper worriedly, not wanting to check your rifle and explosives, then removing your army jacket, turning it inside out, and tying it around your waist to hide your traitorism until she felt a rapid vibration.

You stand up over the desk, looking outside to see Rumble smashing into buildings and the ground, making the area shake, causing the humans to run around. You were going to press the device in your neck, but it was still too tender, making you yelp in pain. You watch as one of the guys crashes out of a window on a motorcycle, gaining the rumbles' attention, and he's going to chase after him. 

"Wait, no, no, they're heavy weapons, no, no, no. No!" you say in a panic and leap over the desk, running out of the building, gripping onto your rifle tightly, chasing after the two. "No, wait, rumble!" you yelled, forgetting about staying hidden. You aim your rifle, shooting the guy rumble was chasing, hitting the guy in the shoulder, making him scream, losing balance, and rumble tips over the bike he was on. "Nice try, moron," Rumble says, looking down at the injured human. "Rumble, look out!" you called out, making him turn over and look at you, confused. "huh? what are you doing here-?"

A rocket launched, hitting Rumble in the face, exploding on impact, making you freeze in horror. "Whoa! Did you see that right in the face! That's for my boy, you piece of-" then a high-pitched frequency plays out. You run over to Rumble on the ground and see the survivors standing by the sound you're shooting at the guy who shot down Rumble. The man shouts before falling dead, and the other survivors run into a building. You toss a grenade towards the building, blowing the entrance and windows, causing them to cave in on the building. 

Fast and heavy footsteps are heard coming. You ran over to Rumble's head using your jacket to try to put out the flames as tears blurred your vision and the hot flames and metal scorched your arms, making you yelp in pain. Feeling defeated, leaning onto Rumble's arm, hugging it tightly as the heavy footsteps stop next to you two.

Soundwave stands over the two, seeing a fallen Rumble and a crying you. He stares down at them for a moment before slowly walking over to them and kneeling. You couldn't look up at him as you continued to cry into the Con's arm until you felt a Soundwave's hand wrap around your pick you up, placing you onto his shoulder. Then, Soundwave picks up Rumble's limp body in his arms. He stands up and emits a high-frequency sound that shatters the surrounding buildings' windows in distress.

Soundwave walks through the empty city to his base, carrying the smaller Decepticon in his arms, and you are curled up on the side of his neck. Your eyes are red and puffy, making it difficult to look at either of them as the two walk in silence. This is the first time a mission has gone bad for you, but it won't be the last.

You squirm a bit, feeling your head pounding with a headache and sharp pains coursing through your body, whimpering quietly as you open your eyes when hearing voices speaking. You open your eyes, seeing yourself on a metal surface, but it looks like a large console.

"What do you mean you can't fix us!"

You froze, hearing the robotic voice, turned yourself over, held your breath, and quickly got back to lying down when you saw the giant robots, this time only being three of them, looking like they were arguing, but at least that fight is over for the meantime. You stay still, lying on the console, so as not to get any of their attention.

"Teletrarn one is damaged beyond our current capability of repair. We need energy and raw materials to bring it back to 100% functionality. We are the only warriors for now."

"Well? How do we fix it?" You listen as they speak, as you try your hardest to keep your body from shaking as you lie there. "I sent LaserBreak to scout for resources that we can convert into the kind of fuel we need. He has sent me coordinates of possible sources of energon." In the corner of your room, you can see the blue robot you were in, cradling a panther robot in his arms. 

"Why are you looking at me?" As the two other robots look at the white and red one. "You have the most energon reserved. Thus, the harvesting is up to you. It's what Meg- ""Do not say his name; I am the leader of the Decepticons now." I will do this for you, my loyal soldiers!"

You hear the robot grumbling, storming off, transforming into a fighter jet, leaving the crashed ship in the air. You stay still, hearing muttering followed by the heavy footsteps of metal walking away. You wait for a moment before hesitantly and slowly turning your head to glance around the room, but you are met with a glowing red visitor staring down at you.

You gasp, quickly crawling back, curling into a ball, but he only stares at you, watching you, observing you. "Organic life form, native species to this planet. You were found in my chassis compartment." He states in a robotic voice, continuing to stare at you before placing the robot panther onto the couch council with great care, then reaches for you. You panic, squirimping away, but he always warped his metal hand around you, making you think he was about to crush you into a horrible death.

But nothing happens; he holds you, moving your head side to side. You shake, not knowing what he's doing other than maybe expecting you. "Soft. Very fragile. Life forms on this planet are fragile."  He states that he moves you around by using his other hand to move your arms. "W-what do you want… w-what are you." You mutter, hoping he doesn't decide to break one of your bones." You mutter. "I am Soundwave, third in command to the Decepticons, communications officer. Considering disposing of you, but unfamiliar with life on this planet. You can be valuable, useful to the Decepticons for study," he states.

“…huh?” you mutter, confusedly thinking this means you're going to be diescut. “Wait, wait, what uh no no-” you yelp when his hand squeezes around you, making you grab him out of reflex. Soundwave tilts his head for a moment before humming. “Very fragile indeed, need to take samples with caution in order not to break, but for the time being, you'll be kept under custody and under my watch.” He simply states that before reaching for the empty Engeron container, you try squirming around a bit, but he places you inside and then sets it down onto the couch. Soundwave walks away, looking around the space as you watch with confusion and fright. 

“H-hey, what are you doing?” you mutter, trying to get a better view of what the robot was up to. Soundwave comes back holding a device in his hand. “What is that? What are you gonna do?” you question with growing panic as he pulls your arm, but not enough to break it. “Safety measures as well as tracking your heart rate, blood pressure, changes in body, and body temperature,” Soundwave explains that before proceeding to inject something significant into your arm, you will scream in pain. “Pain tolerance quite low as well.” He says as Starscream comes back flying and transforming.

“A promising site of engeron at the coordinates LaserBeak sent indeed, gather the equipment for havesiing!” Starscream commands the two Deceptions. Soundwave turns to you as you cradle your arm, to cheating, wimpering in pain. “Laserbeak will keep guard of you till we return. The pain will subside soon, but soreness and aching will not,” he says to you before going off with the others.

You watched as he left with them, leaving alone for a second, until a robot bird, Laserbeak, came in and preached on the top of the console you're at. You curl yourself into a ball, bringing your knees to your chest. Thinking to yourself that Spike and Carly are okay, well, and hopefully safe where they are.

After a while of silence, sitting there for the robots to return, something beeps coming from Laserbeak breaks the silence. You sit up, watching as the robot suddenly leaves with no words said, leaving you in confusion.

So much was going on, everyone shouting orders to soldiers and running all over. Helicopters are loud in the sky, transporting supplies. Even essential and high-ranking people are coming in for this terrible situation in their nation.

You rush by, carrying a rifle, catching wind of a conversation from the colonel. "Tell the lieutenant colonel I want all senior officers in the command tent in 10 minutes." The colonel commanded. "Yes, sir. He also wanted you to know that ground forces are deployed and preparing to engage the enemy." The soldier explains. "Where?"

"Central Park, sir." He answers. "Central Park. Forget 10 minutes, I want them there immediately." The colonel says before walking off. You had a slight look of concern as you looked at them. Looking around at the chaos of soldiers running about, you walked over to the command tent, standing outside and hearing voices already talking inside, which made your brows furrow at what you heard.

"alien robots?"  a guy asked skeptical. "don't try my patience with any "I don't believe it" crap, Stevens any time you, any time you need a reality check, go poke your head outside." you listens I the conversation and peaks through the tent flips. "sir, I thought we'd dealt with those terrorists, the... uh.." "the machination." 

"That's it,  all those reports of 'giant robots' turned up warehouses of machine parts but no mention of 'aliens'," they felt shiver down their spine at the name. 

You peek inside the tent again, looking around at everyone there and seeing a table filled with many photos and documents on cybertrons, taking note of that. You quickly back away from the tent, seeing someone rushing over and going inside. You continue to stand off the side listening to the commotion going on inside before hearing the sound of an F-22 Raptor in the sky, making everyone run out of the command tent, seeing the seekers flying overhead.

You look over, seeing the soldiers all rush over to see where the seekers are heading. With a worried look, you carefully go inside the tent, keeping a watch for anyone looking. Going over the table, seeing the documents and photos laid out, ignoring the loud explosions nearby. You dig into your pockets, pulling a flash drive to plug into the primary monitor. Then, taking out a lighter and a cigarette, lighting it, then tossing it onto the table of papers, catching fire on them. Taking the flash drive out, she carefully leaves the tent and joins a group of soldiers running by as the fire spreads inside the tent.

Gunfire and explosions blocked out the shouting and screaming. The military units only seem to be holding down the front instead of pushing through to enter the inner city, and it appears that the enemy is merely toying with them.

The unit your is a part of has been there for five days now with no progress and with nothing but casualties. As nightfall fell upon the front line, the gunfire still continued. You clutched your rifle as you reloaded the weapon and turned back around to continue shooting again. 

"fuck! Don't these things ever get tired!" a soldier shouted through his gunfire. "They just keep going!" another shouted. "Get down!" Everyone ducked down as the tanks started firing. "shit, I'm almost dry," you muttered, concerned, looking around to find any spare ammo. 

"incoming"

You clutched your rifle, tucking yourself and rolling under some large debris, covering yourself as yells and shouts are heard. The screech of Laserbeak as it came crashing down, followed by an explosion, hit the front. Coughing from the dust, you crawl out and run out of the crossfire, warping your rifle around yourself. You run into a destroyed alleyway, climbing over the rubble.

Sliding down the rumble on the other side, he hears Laserbeak flying over. He looks up, seeing Soundwave standing in front of him, and Laserbeak landing on his shoulder. You stare up at his glowing red visor in the dark. 

"report"

You look down, digging your pockets, while Soundwave lowers himself to your level. "Sorry… it took longer than I expected to get deployed out here," you muttered and took out the flash drive, placing it into his servo. Soundwave takes the small device before with a digit, gently moves your head to that side, and feels the side of your neck where the small implant is located. "It needs repairs and prepares an upgrade," he says before scooping you up into his servo and standing up fully.

"Assignment for you: investigate the surviving humans," Soundwave says as he starts walking, making you hold onto his servo. "Wait… you mean in the inner city? Are there survivors? I-i mean yea… I can do that, but… uh, I just can't be in there for too long…" you stumble as you nervously glance up at him. Soundwave glances down at you.

"Explain."

"I-its on the drive… but since the military isn't doing damage… other nations seeing this as a threat are planning to deal with it… in a more promising way…soon," you carefully explains with a slight grim tone, you knew it was bound to happen that it was a possible choice just didn't think they'll actually do it. Soundwave continues to stare down at you before petting your head with his digit. "We will find the quickest solution."

[Portland, Oregon]

You were cleaning up the shed after doing another cleaning and checking up on the cassette player. Put the items back inside your backpack along with the cassette player. You walk outside, locking up the shed behind you.

Out of nowhere, a massive crash hits near you, making you yelp and fall over, using your arms to protect yourself from the flying debris. Looking up as the smoke or dust clears, you see a vast, terrifying metal panther of some kind looking right at you with its red eyes.

"Human! Y-you... have... something w-we want..." 

It spoke, making you more freaked out and confused. "W-what-?!" You yelp, not knowing what this thing could possibly want from you, and you couldn't move, only shaking.

"L-laserbeak... app-ropriate!" It's spoken, followed by a whistle in the air, getting louder than another explosion. You tried to duck down from the heat and debris everywhere, but got scooped up into the air, making you let out a scream in terror, watching the ground get further away from you.

[Mount St. Helen's, Washington (later)]

"Y-you are... free but... now-what?"

"That ravage I... do not know."

The two Decepticons, Laserbeak and Ravage, sat on the rocks of the mountain in front of Soundwave, who was still in his cassette player form. You were passed out on the ground next to Soundwave, with the things that were in your backpack scattered on the ground.

"My last reserves of power... a-almost gone, still... t-t-trapped in shunt form..." Soundwave explains the two cons. "...can barely.. keep blocking signals to your implants we-" he was cut off by another, more sinister voice.

“-need a specialist. Especially as, I'd postulate it was a weapon of my design that consigned you to this sorry state." The voice causes Ravage and Laserbeak to assume defensive stances as a larger, purple robot with a yellow optic emerges from the dark cave behind them.

"Sh-shockwave? Is that you?" Soundwave asked the robot as he fully revealed himself from the cave. "It is, order ravage and laserbeak to stand down. I have no wish to hurt them... or you. In fact, Soundwave, I believe... we can help each other."

[some time later]

"To unlock your primary transformation cog, initiate a sub-processor six wipe... and reboot!"

Electric pulse and sparks surround Soundwave's cassette form, shaking the ground around, causing you to stir from the sudden action. "Yes. Yes, at last, after all these years..." Soundwave begins to transform out of his cassette form. "...freedom!"

"Ravage, laserbeak ...awaken!"

Your eyes barely even open a bit, and your vision is blurred from most likely a head injury, but you feel yourself being warped in warm metal and being lifted off the ground. Through your blurry vision, you only see a red visor looking down at you before being placed down on a metal surface, and it goes black again with a click sound.
