Where I love others openly to a point of smothering them in the hope that I might learn to love myself better, you insult and tease others as a way of showing you love them with out letting them get too close, for one two reasons: either you think you donât deserve love back, or someone you trusted hurt you and youâre afraid theyâll join them.â Duali explained, eyes drooping with a certain sadness.

Everybody tries that shit, you're not special.â Mizztro snapped, almost as if to cut her off, tapping his tail frustratedly, but afraid to like her in the eye. Normally he would have went off on someone reading him like that, but there was something different about hearing this from an intelligent negati and not the great Balan who has it all figured out, as if he knew she was rightâŚ

Mizztro gritted his teeth, clutched his arm and coiled his tail around his leg, but then shook his head, brushing his bangs to compose himself.
âWell maybe you shouldâve slipped faster, I wonder how you swim.â Mizztro sighed with a smile. Duali opened her mouth as if to scold him, but remembered what she said about this act of his and smiled.
âNow thatâs not funny.â she giggled, resting her hands on her hips with her shoulder cocked in a playful manner.
"Why not? I thought it was." he chuckled.
