So my mom had her third brain surgery in August. She’s at home recuperating now, but she needs constant care and will be needing it for the foreseeable future. I quit my full time job to take care of her so now I’m down to just a part-time/weekend job that doesn’t cover much, but I make do. The kicker is I need to round up about $1200 to cover her medical costs for the next month and a half until she gets approved for disability. That $1200 will pay for her two doctor’s appointments and transportation to and from them, and the nurse who comes in for weekly check-ups.
