Idk why people are mad at me focusing on the Lukanette development when...that's literally the episode focus. Lukanette's relationship. With subplots on the side.

I don't mind how she was forced to break up with him bc of her LB duties, though the build up to it was way too rushed. Miracle Queen to this immediately like? Come on.

The Adrien stuff was insulting but I've said enough about that

I like how Luka was unsatisfied with how absent Marinette was in their relationship, and how he opened up to her about his vulnerabilities with his dad

It was sad to see her unable to reciprocate that vulnerability bc its something she can't tell anyone for their own safety

Luka never became the vengeful bf, which is awesome bc if he did it'd be way out of character

Don't like how they wouldn't show us why Lukanette would be an incomplete couple personality wise, I feel like we needed that closure in order for this episode to fully work. All I got was Ladynoir bantering for why people still think LS is better.

The Jagged reveal was pretty rushed, and I'm also wondering why Luka remembered he was his dad after getting deevilized. But ok overall.

I think this explains a lot about the Luka we've seen thus far. He's had to be his family's anchor with how wild his mom gets (yelling at the police at the drop of a hat) and how anxious his sister is. Wise for his years bc he's had to be for his family, which is why he's so patient with Marinette. He's needed to let the more selfish and childish part of himself go way earlier than any kid should have to, wanting the happiness of those around him above all. I mean, many Luka fans were able to discern this without the Jagged reveal based off his absence in general, but seeing Luka struggling on screen probably helped more people understand this.

Also yes I get that their break up was mainly bc of her LB duties
