Her mother and brother used her as bait, and she continued to deteriorate as a person, seeking solace in luxury and wealth, deprived of the loved ones she rejected because they didn't live up to her standards. This heroine isn't some Disney princess; she's a real person who doesn't change overnight to please fans.Astruc writes about a real person and doesn't pander to viewers who demand a quick happy ending for a supposedly strong character. Chloe is a tragic character who must be willing to change and not be afraid to show her weakness.But she's afraid to do so, as shown in tonight's episode. Chloe prefers to destroy everything to hide her suffering. People become villains when they're unhappy. Astruc is right—suddenly granting Chloe redemption without a compelling reason would be a lie, and the character would simply lose all meaning.
