“You’re a coward…” He choked out hoarsely, body slumping forward. “You’re a coward!” A hysterical laugh bellowed out of the hero, eyes blazing with madness.

“You would be correct…everyone is a coward.” Sunken eyes met his own, contrasting with its own reflective acceptance. “However, that notion is still far from the truth.”

A hand grasped his face, looking into the hazel eyes of who he was always told was the villain. But that soul spoke more than of pain or anger. “Stop lying.” He spit out because this was still his enemy,the fear nor the anguish could change the fact.

“What do you think a coward is? Do you even know what villains are?” He wasn’t allowed to answer before the grip that had been bruising his face left.

“There is no such thing as a true villain or hero, no one so perfect for the role. Villains, in a more human sense, are misfits who are forced to be something else so they belong. I had different ideals, too realistic of theories that no one wanted to believe. I was forced out of society due to my own understanding. Understand why I’m slightly upset?””

He stood frozen, what could he say? That villains were labeled due to their danger towards society? Thinking about it, he would be wrong.

The one standing before him had done nothing wrong, just one disagreement and suddenly he was deployed. Told that the situation was dangerous and he needed to be careful. “Then why am I here? Huh?”

He spoke loudly, like he didn’t have any self doubt. That he asked to taunt instead of understanding because he didn’t understand. Why was he here?
