HAJIME SHINO LAYOUTS!!

Having been inspired by the many other poképagans on here creating oracle decks utilizing Pokémon cards I decided to make my own.

I have been reading Tarot cards casually for the past seven years now and have gotten used to the layout of the Tarot; the Major and Minor Arcana have become a familiar structure. So, instead of creating my own oracle deck I decided to go through what cards I own to create a Tarot deck using the traditional build.

For the Major Arcana and the 2-10 cards of each suit I used Pokémon cards, both basic and evolutions. For the Ace cards of each suit I used energy cards, and for the court cards (page-king) I used trainer/gym leader cards.

I realize that each person will associate different meaning for each card, so a deck you make for yourself will most likely differ from any that I create, and that is okay! So, for the sake of fostering a dialogue, I’ve decided to list what cards I’ve chosen for each of the Major Arcana traditionally found in a Tarot deck.
