Oh, lord. How do I even begin?

Last year I took a pause on my fanfiction writing. As a lot of you know, I have been trying to become a published author and, in 2021, I published my first original book (in Portuguese, you can check it here) and immediately engaged in writing the second on the series. I am writing a book in English, which I’m posting on my AO3 page before it’s finished and, soon, will be removed - so if you want to read it for free, this is your opportunity. 

All this original writing made me back away a little from the drarry fandom, and I’ve been trying to come back in 2022 because I miss my boys and I miss the fandom as a whole… Except I’ve been receiving a lot of hateful comments in my stories lately, comments I don’t usually receive, and it has me taking a toll on me.

Yes, I want to come back to the fandom, but it seems like the fandom doesn’t want me back. People forget there are TAGS for a reason, and if you don’t like a story, you can just close the page and move on with your merry life.

Guys, please, remember that in the other side of the screen there’s a real person who put time and effort in those pages. If you don’t like it, please move on. There’s no need to be hateful because you don’t like how something was phrased or you don’t like a particular trope.

Just move on.
