Until dawn 2 looks pretty good in my opinion, but why the fuck is it an until dawn game.

I’ve played every single supermassive decision based game (until dawn, the quarry, the dark pictures anthology (though I haven’t finished directive 8020 just yet)) and the moment the trailer came on during state of play, I knew it was a supermassive game. I started tweaking out when I saw Dr. Hill pop on screen, and then when the title popped up I was tweaking even more. But, after a few minutes of tweaking, it dawned (haha I’m fucking hilarious) on me that this being an until dawn game is stupid.

This game could’ve easily been standalone (like the quarry) or been part of season 2 of the dark pictures anthology, I think it’s unnecessary for it to be an until dawn. Dr. Hill could be replaced with someone like the curator.

Now, I could be wrong, we have less than a minute of footage of the game and know literally nothing. There could be more connection than just Dr. Hill, there could be a Wendigo or something else like that. But, as of now, I don’t understand why it’s an until dawn game.
