Here are the list of celebs and their pros, instead of doing separate post, I’ll just put my thoughts below & the video of the announcement at the end of the post.. 

S22 premieres March 21st on ABC. 

PS: I’m going to work on making an updated DWTS Snapchat list with this seasons celebs maybe this week, it’s hard to keep up..

1) Jodie Sweetin & Keo Motsepe

I’m not a fan of literally anything she’s done, but I guess… There seems to be this massive hype around her & the whole Full House cast, that I will NEVER understand but for Keo’s sake I hope she can take him past Week 3.. I’m sure her popularity alone will carry her past mid-season maybe more like Candace Cameron Bure (cause it certainly wasn’t her dancing.. sorry.).. 

2) Antonio Brown & Sharna Burgess

I plan to stay pretty unbiased as always when recapping the season, but I won’t hide the fact that my votes will probably be going to them, cause I’m SteelerNation for life. Sharna I think will do wonders with him. He’s definitely going to have to break free of Donald Driver & Hines Ward comparisons, the only way to do that is to be really good, he’s got some moves, I would say Driver is the bar for him & NFL players. I predict entertaining things from this couple on & off the floor.  

3) Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas

I doubt Mark will have any problem connecting with Paige, as he loves MMA. As much as I want to say, he’s got a contender, we’ve been saying that since, Chelsea Kane, Katherine Jenkins, Sadie Robertson, so I won’t. I want to see Mark get his 3rd trophy, truth be told he should have about at least 3 more than the 2 he does. It’s a shame, Derek has 6 & Mark has 2, because the gap between them, isn’t nearly that wide, when you break down their partners, Mark has been on par with Derek since the beginning with his girls, he’s had some the best the show has seen. But back to Paige, I’m afraid the boxer/fighter curse will take over her body, they ironically don’t seem to do well with fluidity. I hope I’m wrong. With Hough out, hopefully Mark’s creativity will get the credit it deserves. 

SN: Mark’s hair is gonna drive me crazy this season, I just know it… I f**king know it.. 

4) Wanya Morris & Lindsay Arnold

Wayna is a member of the legendary group Boyz II Men. They definitely will have the best music to choose from of all the couples. Great to see Lindsay as a pro again, she did her thing with Alek & Carlos last season.

5) Marla Maples & Tony Dovolani

Marla is an actress & tv personality most famous for being married to Donald Trump, or should we say being a survivor of Trump. My first impression of her… Damn, she looks good. I don’t want to jinx but I think Tony might have a chance make some sort of impact on the season. I sure hope so.. Just the little dance they did on GMA, gives me hope. Hopefully she’ll throw salt on Trump bit, that’ll be sure to give her some votes, from me at least.

6) Doug Flutie & Karina Smirnoff

Doug is a retired NFL & CFL player. Cut to the chase, they won’t be around long, 3 NFL players on one season? Sharna & Antonio are gonna look like 2 pros, compared to these two I’m afraid. 

7) Mischa Barton & Artem Chigvintsev

Mishca famous for her role on The O.C. She looked so nervous on GMA, hopefully Artem can break that before the season starts. She could be a decent dancer but if she doesn’t loosen up, it won’t matter. I am looking forward to this pair. I’m pulling for them, if only to see her confidence go up, she’s got a good pro in Artem. 

8) Von Miller & Witney Carson

A recent Super Bowl 50 MVP with the Denver Broncos, I’m sure there will be some inherent competition between him & Antonio Brown. He’s a lot slimmer, than I realized, hopefully he can moves his hips with ease. If I had to bet on an NFL horse, I’m take Brown, but Miller could do some damage. 

9) Kim Fields & Sasha Farber

Kim Fields an actress, famous for her childhood role Tootie on the Facts of Life and Regine Hunter on Living Single (a personal favorite) with Queen Latifah in the 90′s & now Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA). I don’t know what her dancing will bring, but SASHA IS A PRO AGAIN, that’s all that matter to me.. He really deserves it. I predict they’ll make it just to halfway probably no more, unless she turns out be a much better dancer than we thought. She’s got a fun personality though, hopefully she can let loose. 

10) Geraldo Rivera & Edyta Sliwinska

Geraldo is a reporter & most notably was the host of the talk show Geraldo from 1987 to 1998. All I can say is Ew.. I’m not a fan of this guy, for prior things he’s said and whatnot. Over it.. 

I wasn’t watching when Edyta was a pro, so I don’t have much to say about her either. 

11) Nyle Dimarco & Peta Murgatroyd

Apparently, Nyle is the winner of cycle 22 of America’s Next Top Model (I gave up on that show, when it went Co-ed for ratings a while back) & He’s also completely deaf. So, Nyle will have to have an interpreter present at all times. Defintely a change of pace for Peta but I’m not worried, Peta is a sweet but tough pro. Glad to see her back after sitting out last season. If you remember Marlee Matlin was the first deaf celeb dancer on the show, back in S6 & she wasn’t that bad, she said she felt the vibrations on the floor. I’m looking forward to them. He’s hot, Peta’s hot, that’s rarely a disappointing combo. 

12) Ginger Zee & Val Chmerkovskiy

Ginger is a co-host on GMA, which I apparently don’t watch enough or at all, because her name rang no bells for me.. BUT she has Val & for me that’s more than enough to pay attention. She’s got enthusiasm& confidence, which is great for the show & for Val, just in the dance she did on the announcement, I’m watching out for them, Val is in my opinion the best teacher on the show, in terms of highlighting his partner strengths, focusing on the core fundamentals, he whips them into shape. I feel like his strengths get downplay because some of his partners (Rumer, Janel, Elizabeth.) may have had some if any prior experience, but with Ginger he can put those naysayers to bed, I thought he did that with Danica but apparently not. 

My couples to watch based off first impressions alone:
