Thinking about Blackarachnia and how she was a femme fatale character done right. She wasn’t treated as an object. Being flirtatious and “sexy” wasn’t all she was. She wanted autonomy. She hated the men she flirted with (save for Silverbolt, but it was genuine). She loves inventing and tinkering. She’s a history whiz. She secretly has a soft spot for kids. She wanted her own transmetal form. She was a victim of abuse. She’s the sass to her boyfriend’s chivalry.
She was allowed to be her own character and not just a prop.
