          what flowery, poetic words. tugs simply lifted a brow as quaxo continued, before he strode forward. he towered over the smaller man, and golden eyes stared down ‘pon him, searching him. he never had much time for those would would.. beat around the bush or avoid the subject. he liked to get answers when he sought them. 

       “ what are you, exactly? not a demon – but not an ordinary human, either. just how old ARE you? ”   he reached out his hand, his fingers moving across his neck, nail brushing the skin almost thoughtfully, where he had last seen a rope tied. how curious.  “ tell me — if i were to kill you now, would you return once more? ”

       the direct approach hm?  he never was one for direct confrontation━━  he’d crumple under the pressure, but he supposed that was why he perished so terribly often. he smiled, hoping to avoid any aggression but he feared that he didn’t have much room to keep his hopes up.

      “Out of sheer curiosity… You would not happen to know a particular way to sabotage another small magical cat, would you? I have many boxes and stores of catnip to offer you if you let slip a hint or two… Perhaps with more to offer if you are not interested in those…” Was Miranda trying to bribe her way past facing Juan the Small Magical Latino Cat on the battlefield of snow? Yes. She was. Without a doubt.

     the thought of betraying his fellow feline was reprehensible in itself. he would never, ever, not in a thousand years━━   wait did she say catnip?   ❛ i’m not a big drug user, but i do like food. ❜  he liked being bribed, that is.
