I don't know how of Montreal continues to pump out jam after jam with both consistency and freshness, but thank the stars for Kevin Barnes and his exposed penis.
St. Vincent returns with a B-side perfectly worthy of an A-side, and really, at this point if you're not clued in to her brilliance then I don't even know what you're doing here.
Get this and 4 other new tracks on the upcoming deluxe release of her self-titled.
Deadmau5 released his 2012 album >album title goes here< today for free. Head over to Google Play to grab your free download.
Don't let the title deceive you, the song Boring from Brooklyn-based trio Bottoms is both lively and exciting, which comes as no surprise being that it's the latest addition to JD Samson's ultra cool label Atlas Chair. Self-described as “two shitty drag queens, a 303 and a drummer,” these underground electro/punk revivalists are all about giving a queer middle finger to the over-saturated indie scene by doing something completely reckless.
More, please:

“Girl comes up to me and says, “What you driving?” I said, “BUGATTI.”
The video for Tiga’s Bugatti intersects minimal techno with nostalgic retro visuals, and… it’s fucking Tiga. ‘Nuff said.
Ariel Pink is absolutely killing it with his latest work from the much anticipated solo album pom pom, due out 9/18 on 4AD, aka the best record label ever in the world.
Check out the ultra whimsical Black Ballerina above, then stick around for a creepy new video for the song Picture Me Gone, below:
We featured a couple tracks from Garden City Movement off of the BLDG5 Ground Floor compilation last year and it appears this relatively new record label has another winner on their hands with Totemo’s latest, Heavy As My Dreams. Sit back, relax, and unwind with this magical trip pop experience.
Here’s another Lynchian treat for our readers, this time Kid Moxie takes on Angelo Badalamenti and Julee Cruise’s Mysteries of Love, but that’s not all - Mr. Badalamenti himself is actually involved in the rework! You might recall the original version of this track was played over the last scene of the 1986 film Blue Velvet when Isabella Rossellini finally gets her son (and her life) back. It’s also featured on Cruise’s 1989 album Floating into the Night, the same album that features the theme song to the sleeper hit Twin Peaks. It’s honestly one of the most touching, beautiful songs ever written and Kid Moxie does it justice with quiet grace and dignity.
These days when you hear the term ‘EDM’ you instantly think of drug-addled teenagers losing their shit to overproduced garbage and suddenly find yourself longing for the days of yesteryear when popular electronic music was actually still somewhat palatable, but after what seems like a never ending foray into the demise of dance culture there appears to be a silver lining on the horizon. Today’s round-up is proof of that, showcasing several recent tracks from some big names on the scene that strike a nice balance between the commercial demands of the mainstream and the refined tastes of the underground.

I know what you're thinking. Big Data? Dangerous? That track is so tired. And do we really need another remix?
Ok so maybe you're not thinking that, but if you are don't let this one steer you away. Leave it to motherfucking Oliver to turn last year's indie pop anthem upside down and inside out with their tasteful brand of disco-infused electro. Put simply, this track is siiiiiick.
The Derevolutions are no stranger to the Mister Medley blog and their latest material doesn't disappoint. Carrying on their tradition of fun loving vibes and killer samples, they make a great pick me up for that mid-week slump.
If New York-based songstress Tei Shi hasn't made it onto your radar yet, Bassically will definitely do the trick. She's at it again with a stellar new track that starts off small and gradually builds into an epic synth-laden crescendo that, when paired with her stunning power vocals, demands the listener's attention and leaves one feeling mesmerized. This is what pop music should sound like in 2014.
In celebration of Twin Peaks' return to television in 2016 we've got a moody remix from David Lynch himself, taking on Agnes Obel's 2013 track Fuel to Fire. As if her version wasn't haunting enough, Lynch gives it an understated spin that makes a wonderful addition to Aventine's deluxe edition.
Says Lynch of the song, "I loved doing this remix. I was turned onto Agnes’ music through my record label…I think she has a most beautiful voice and can do things with her voice that are unique and extraordinary."
Have you jumped on the Pat Lok train yet? If you've been missing out, fret not, today we're giving you two reasons to love the ultra hot Vancouver producer today, and these R&B inspired house remixes are so next level it's disgusting.

Everyone's favorite weirdo Ariel Pink is back with his first solo record entitled pom pom, and if the first single is any indication of what's in store for the experimental psych-pop icon then consider us very intrigued. The new video for Put Your Number In My Phone sees a pimped out Ariel carting around a mysterious goth-clad man in pursuit of hot girls' phone numbers... Seriously, what's not to like?
Hipster pop duo YACHT have awakened from their slumber with a super fun little ditty as they prepare for their upcoming tour across the US this fall. Nothing particularly new or groundbreaking here, this one-off single is a just another quirky, head-bopping track that's sure to make a nice and welcome addition to your daytime dance collection - sometimes less really is more.
