Got my copy of Outsider in the (White) House yesterday from when I donated to Bernie's campaign during the holiday season. My bookmark is the health insurance card for the coverage I lost as a result of working for the type of businessmen that Bernie refuses to stand for. (A story for another time) As a young American, I never cared for American politics until I became part of the post-college work force. The way I see it, it doesn't matter if you're a "democrat" or "republican" or "liberal" or "conservative," it's about which presidential candidate will do the most good for the most people. And in the race for the 2016 presidential election, that candidate is Bernie Sanders.
