Some flying fish doodles. In the process of putting together a thing about a world inhabited by these fishies. Let’s see if I can commit to it after my Bat Feathers animated short is done.

I was trying to create a stylize look for my animated short, “Bat Feathers.” Sadly, I still feel like I’m ending up with my same ol’ style I’m just naturally comfortable with. I guess it’s not bad, but I should have put more thought into these before drawing them. I did however start using tons of Aaron Blaise brushes. https://creatureartteacher.com/

More bird sketches! I’m pretty happy with the overall design. I’m just indecisive as to how exactly the paler blue color lies across the face.

Fleshing out this lil bird fairly readily and fast.

Just figuring out what body design I like best. I originally thought I wanted a big, poofy body with a tiny head, but I’m suddenly going the other direction. Big head, lil body.
