Off season was hectic and flew by fast! Excited for the new season though!

Life got in the way and I’m in my last year of school which has been incredibly stressful. Now that hockey has started up again I’m hoping to be on here a little bit more! Not sure about writing but who knows!

Also, US hockey is doing a "this or that" game with the players and one of them is Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce. I NEED one of them to say Taylor because they are all boring so far and saying Travis

The Jets are good and I should be cheering for them because I was born in Atlanta Georgia, and Winnipeg was formerly the Atlanta Thrashers

They just aren’t my fav but I really don’t care who wins, I’m just glad I’m not completely deprived of hockey just yet

And biochem is ROUGH. My friend is going to graduate next semester with a degree in biochem and is going to do biochemical engineering (making drugs and vaccines and whatnot). More power to her because that sounds awful

I'm trying to watch games in between studying but ESPN won't let me 😔

My main team is the Sharks, so I really can't cheer for my fav team. But I know who I don’t want to win lol

I used to just stream games online but this year I finally committed and just bought the SN pass through prime

My actual electives were biochem (don’t ask), genetics lab, microbiology lab, human tissue biology, and vascular plants (don’t ask about this either lol)

I've been a true crime junkie since I was little, so being involved in that in some way is really my calling because I can give people closure using testable science

I was also able to learn to separate my feelings of empathy from certain situations from a young age so I think I'll do just fine but I totally get how other people can't

We shall see where I end up but you'll def hear me yapping about it to you though when I do

And wow that’s such a noble way to think about forensic science (?is that what u call it? Idk lol). I’ve never thought about it that way.

I’ve also always been sooo obsessed with true crime since I was little but I’ve never been able to stomach seeing it in real life. Like growing up buzzfeed unsolved was my BREAD AND BUTTER!! Same with criminal minds

I have a friend who just graduated with a degree in biochem and they said it was the most painful thing ever lol

And I won’t be doing much writing this weekend, but will get back on working through some of my WIP’s next week. If you have any suggestions / req’s LMK!!

I work as a pharmacy tech, and I’m going to try and find something in a forensics lab, but if I can't, I'll rely on the Biology degree

I’m wanting to do something like medical examiner stuff (autopsies and stuff)

So maybe a Master's in forensics to get my foot in the door, maybe become an autopsy tech 🤷🏼‍♀️
