Ooh... definitely the warblers. I think Blaine is too scared to bring it up. Sebastian (due to his parent's failed marriage) thinks its unnecessary and "why do we need a piece of paper to prove we love eachother", but in the end he will be convinced otherwise.
So, my week went like this:
On Monday I watched a video of someone reacting to Red, White & Royal Blue. And funny thing about that, I wasn't searching for that kind of video. I was actually watching someone other reacting to Estonian's national selection of songs for next year's Eurovision and next to it was recommondation "Gay reacts to RWRB" or something like that... so I clicked on it.
On Tuesday I watched RWRB movie... twice... and ordered the book.
On Wednesday I started reading the book, and also fanfiction.
On Saturday I finished the book.
And now I'm obsessed.
So here are my thoughts:
I think dialogue was better in the movie, specially Zahra's lines.
I do wish they would've put the Wimbledon scene in the movie. I think it really showed how much Henry despised the life he was forced to live.
I've read comments saying it felt rushed, and it kind of did, even in the book. But if you think about the timeline, it really wasn't. I mean, the royal wedding was what? Early autumn? Then the whole fix-up when they started calling and texting. Phonecall with turkey - november. New Year's party and first kiss - obviously new year's. Then the dinner party - i don't know, late january? Polo match - february/march. Wimbledon - may/june. Lake house - somewhere in the summer. Letters leaking - autumn again, before the election which is in november I think. So basically, half of year of writing and phonecalls before they even said i-love-yous and then like four months before all became public. Overall I think timestamps would have made it easier, either reading the book or watching the movie.
I also think movie was better option than miniseries. The movie could have been couple of scenes longer, but I think miniseries would have felt dragged out.
These are my thoughts, and now I going to read every piece of fanfiction written of them.
People talking about their Spotify top lists... well, I'm over here listening music with Youtube music. Luckily it also made a recap, and I never would have guessed my top 1 song 😂 (that was sarcasm) although I am surprised I Want You Back didn't make it to top 5 (it was 8th).
4x08 missing scene: seblaine. why couldn’t they at least given us some performance eye sex?
“Sebastian!”
He turned to see Blaine, complete in his Sectionals slacks and bowtie, trotting up to him back stage before their performance. His stomach, sentimental traitor that it was, did something that strongly resembled a flip.
“Are you really doing Gangnam Style?” he asked by way of greeting, wrinkling his nose and waving the Sectionals playbill. “You do know you’re going to lose, right?”
“That’s not what I—hi.” He shook his head with an apologetic smile. “I haven’t seen you since I visited.”
Sebastian hummed. “Right. Thanks for the note, by the way. I enjoyed the sass. Hunter, on the other hand—”
“I wanted to apologize,” Blaine interrupted quickly. “If I led you guys on. You don’t know how tempted I was to come back.”
Sebastian slipped his hands into his pockets, making sure his face remained neutral. He didn’t want to have to contemplate his feelings over Blaine’s decision. “Of course I do. You were transparent during Dark Side.”

I just want to personally thank everyone who contributed to 10 days of Seblaine. You made my day! By now I have read every new entry, some even twice. Some are definitely stuck in my head.
Now, I'm not good with words. I've written like one fic, half of which were lyrics. It was a hell to write and I only did it to get the damn scene out of my head. That being said, I kind of understand what it takes to write a full story and, my god... you guys are my heros.
