I have been hyperfixated on the 2024 film Memoir of a Snail since July 25, 2025 and it has caused me genuine embarrassment. I have no one to talk to about it IRL, because I can't bring myself to talk about it. I'm too scared to recommend it to anyone because they'll think it's corny. About 90% of my notebook for school consists of doodles of the characters. I look for snails outside almost everyday. I look for cosplays of the characters at conventions, only to find none. I wrote an essay on hoarding for the sole reason that Grace was a hoarder. When I imagine Grace and Pinky twerking on my couch, it just makes my mouth drool and I start dancing with them as well. When I imagine Gilbert and Ben frotting on my couch, I begin to cheer them on and ask if they need anything (e.g. snacks, condoms). God bless Australia.

If hell was real, the Australian desert is the closest thing to it. My god it was horrible. I had to rest in the day, and that would be interrupted by an animal trying to eat you, thinking you were dead. I ran for hours straight. Had to eat small shrubs, rodents, and stray farm animals. The feeling of raw meat sliding down my dry throat was worse than getting burned by the hottest flames. The horrible year and a half took a toll on my body, as well as my soul. I rested in a small town near Canberra, I don't remember the name of it. But I stayed there for a few weeks. Then got to Canberra.

Worth it.
