Headcanon on Bojere: Boyan is the senior in their relationship in some ways. He likes to be led by Yere due to the fact that the older one is lower (a couple of inches haha), so that's why Boyan is "older" but in the same place he is also a gentle guy, caring and sweet. Their mutual friends call Boyan (the best guy) because his attitude to Yera in every sense is the best attitude that their friends have ever seen

Headcanon: Shane would have called Ilya "Ilyusha" immediately after he recognised this form of the name. He would also call him something like "my man" "my strong uncle" (mostly when close) but then he would be ashamed

As a native speaker of Russian, I can confidently say that Conor Storry has done a great job on his character. His Russian was with an accent, yes, but it was already clean. All Russians understood him. Conor also worked out every part of Ilya. He made him a real Russian man.
