When the believers enter the Paradise they will say:

وَقالُوا الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذي أَذهَبَ عَنَّا الحَزَنَ

“Praise to Allāh, who has removed from us [all] sadness and sorrow. (Surat Fatir:34).

So until then, the believers will always experience many moments of sadness and grief.

Whoever keeps himself busy seeking Allah instead of himself, Allah will save him from himself, and whoever keeps himself busy with Allah more than people, Allah will save him from people.

"The beginning of worship is silence;

then seeking knowledge;

then acting upon it;

then memorising it;

then spreading it."

The difference between the elite and the regular slaves of Allah جلي و على is that the elite slaves make intention to get closer to Allah جلي و على through everything that's mubah even (allowed e.g. eating, sleeping, relieving yourself etc).

‎“Whoever truly trusts Allāh in attaining something, he attains it.”

‎"Whoever loves this worldly life, will estimate its value, he will make himself a slave to it and it will humiliate him. And whoever neglects it, will notice his great value, it will humiliate itself for him."

Shaykhul Islam ibn Taymiyyah was asked: “What are the deeds of the people of hell and what are the deeds of the people of paradise?”

He replied:

“The deeds of the people of hell are:

Associating partners in worship with Allah;

Disbelieving in His Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam);

Kufr (ingratitude, disbelief);

Hasad (malicious envy);

Lying;

Treachery;

Oppression and wrongdoing (dhulm);

Promiscuity;

Backstabbing;

Cutting off the ties of kinship;

Cowardice at the time of jihad;

Miserliness;

Inconsistency between what is in one’s heart and the face that one shows to people;

Despairing of the mercy of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala;

Feeling secure from the plan of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala;

Panicking blindly at the time of crisis;

Pride and extravagance at the time of plenty;

Abandoning one’s duties towards Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala;

Transgressing His limits;

Violating His sanctity;

Fearing a created being instead of the Creator;

Showing off;

Going against the Qur’an and Sunnah in word or deed;

Obeying a created being in some act of disobedience to the Creator;

Blindly supporting falsehood;

Mocking the signs of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala;

Rejecting the truth;

Withholding knowledge and testimony that should be revealed;

Witchcraft and magic;

Disobeying one’s parents;

Killing any soul forbidden by Allah except for reasons of justice;

Consuming the wealth of the orphan;

Riba (usury);

Desertion from the battlefield;

Slandering the reputation of innocent, chaste, believing women.”
